The article presents various research studies related to family medicine. One study showed the effectiveness of the transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) in treating pain associated with diabetic neuropathy by applying a low dose of electrical current to cutaneous nerve fibers. Another study demonstrated the ineffectiveness of topical intranasal steroids in resolving otitis media with effusion. Another study also showed the effectiveness of both home- and center-based cardiac rehabilitation.
