The charge transfer processes for the Beq++H(q = 1-4) collisions are investigated by the quantum-mechanical and semiclassical methods in wide energy ranges. The total, n-selective, nl-selective, singlet and triplet charge transfer cross sections are obtained and compared with other available theoretical data. The total and n-selective data are presented. This paper comprises two separate parts. First, we present the high-spin states in 139Pm nucleus. Two negative-parity dipole bands have been observed and assigned as πh11/2xν(h11/2)-2 and πh11/2xν(h11/2)-4 configurations. From the systematic comparison with neighboring nuclei and SPAC (Shears mechanism with Principal Axis Cranking) model calculations, the two bands can be suggested as magnetic rotational bands. In the other part of this paper, the construction of one new array of eight Clover and sixteen HPGe detectors has been introduced. The high spin states of neutron-rich nuclei in A∼110 region have been carefully investigated by measuring prompt γ-γ-γ coincident measurements populated in the spontaneous fission of 252Cf with the Gammasphere detector array. Many new collective bands have been discovered. In this proceeding paper, we introduce some interesting new band structures recently observed by our cooperative groups, that is, the one-phonon- and two-phonon γ-vibrational bands in odd-A 103Nb, 105Mo and 107Tc, the chiral doublet bands in even-even 106Mo, 110Ru and 112Ru, and the pseudospin partner bands with in 108Tc. The emission of x-rays has been observed from nearly twenty comets and evidence exists that it is the result of radiative decays from highly-excited, highly-charged solar wind ions following charge exchange with neutral species, mostly water, in the cometary atmosphere. We review the progress to date in constructing models of the x-ray emission. However, the construction of accurate models is impeded by the near tack of reliable state-selective charge exchange cross section data for the relevant neutral species (H[sub 2]O, CO, CO[sub 2], etc.). The progress, and difficulties, of theoretical studies for the relevant collision processes is discussed with a particular focus on the breakdown of approximations made in the emission models.
