In industrial and non-industrial rotating machinery, antifriction bearings are commonly utilized. These bearings are manufactured without mistake in all dimensions and are subjected to stringent quality checks. Bearings may have flaws on their components when they are fitted or used, despite these rolling elements. The existence of a fault in a bearing might cause it to fail, bringing the equipment to a halt. The answer to this problem is to detect these flaws at an earlier stage in order to avert system harm. Vibration analysis is a technique that may be used to discover defects. This approach is also known as condition monitoring. As a consequence, experimental tests on the vibration of cylindrical roller bearings with a single square defect measuring 1mm by 1mm on their inner race and rolling element were conducted, and the findings were presented and analyzed. In this investigation, only square defects were created and considered using EDM. The experimental data is compared using an examination of healthy and faulty bearings. An axial load was applied in this experiment. FFT and vibration metre is used to do the analysis (Displacement pickup type meter). The key three parameters addressed throughout this experiment were speed, load, and defect. The obtained experimental results shows close agreement with analytical results. This paper presents comparison of analytical and experimental result discussion for vibration analysis of composite beam with crack. Beams and beam like elements are principal constituents of many mechanical structures and used widely in high speed machinery, aircraft and light weight structures. Finite Element Analysis is performed using ANSYS 14.5. The model of beam is generated and used for Finite Element Analysis. The modal analysis is used to determine the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a structure. The experimental analysis is carried out by using a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) device which is used to detect the potential faults and checking the condition of the machine through the vibration analysis.
