The virtual laboratory implemented in this research is a virtual laboratory based on virtual reality. The virtual laboratory was developed based on the local wisdom of the Batak tribe, "Dekke Naniura." The local knowledge is associated with chemistry and becomes the content of the development of a virtual laboratory. Implementation was carried out on 45 students selected by purposive sampling method. Students are given a perception indicator of 5 indicators with five statements for each. Based on data analysis and interpretation, 77.78% of students thought that the use of virtual laboratories was difficult, 86.67% of students were very enthusiastic about conducting virtual laboratory trials, 53.33% of students felt that laboratory content was very interesting, 57.78% thought that the material contained is very easy to understand, and 62.22% of students believe that the language chosen in the virtual laboratory is very clear. In general, students think the virtual laboratory developed is very helpful for them in the learning process, especially on materials that cannot be practiced in real laboratories. Technology in education today has an important contribution to facilitating students' virtual experiences to develop ideas through laboratories for learning. Even though the potential of the virtual laboratory has been proven and investigated by many experts in the field of research, the virtual laboratory has not been synthesized for physics education. This study aims to identify trends in virtual laboratories in physics education. The method used is classifying and analyzing 30 articles collected from the Scopus database into seven sections: journal publication, virtual laboratory trends in physics education, research approach, physics content, research subjects, characteristics of the virtual laboratory used, and thinking skills studied. And the country of implementation, weaknesses, and suggestions. Virtual laboratory trends in physics education include subject, topic, level of education, type of virtual laboratory, and country where the virtual laboratory is applied. A review of research results shows that the use of virtual laboratories in the last six years has varied. Then, the thinking skills studied also varied using various approaches. The conclusion from the results of the virtual laboratory analysis found that there is a novelty in the virtual laboratory design and the impact of its application in learning activities that can increase creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, learning independence, science literacy skills, science literacy skills, inquiry activity, conceptual understanding, conception reconstruction, graphic interpretation skills, science process skills, mastery of concept, achievement study, student's physics competence, and communication skills (HOTS). This research aims to develop a titration laboratory equipment to be integrated into an IoT system to provide students who lack learning resources under normal circumstances with opportunities to conduct experiments online. Titration is the focus of this work because it is an essential part of high school curriculum. All experimental devices must be resistant to strong acid (pH<2) and strong base (pH>12). The titration device is able to accurately dispense liquid through its peristaltic pump at 5ml, 1ml, 0.5ml and 0.1ml with 5% accuracy. A comparison between titration experiment results conducted with the device and with traditional manual operation shows that the device shows 4.6% error from theory while manual operation error is up to 11.7% from theory. Computational thinking skill is a new framework that belongs to the hybrid modes of thinking. This study aims to explore the effect of the problem-solving laboratory and gender in practicing computational thinking skills. Learning media is pursued by designing experimental-based learning using smartphone sensors. A smartphone sensor was used to facilitate students to measure physical quantities independently during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was conducted in two science classes of Senior High School with a post-test-only control group design. Data were collected using a Google Form, consisting of 12 mixed essays and multiple-choice questions representing seven indicators of computational thinking skills. The data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variant (ANOVA) method to identify the influence of the learning model and gender. The study results show a significant difference between the experimental class using the problem-solving laboratory model and the control class using the regular model. Statistical calculation showed a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with effect size of 0.237. In addition, there is no interference from the gender on student computational thinking skills with a significant value of 0.077 (p > 0.05) and effect size of 0.025. This study aims to obtain initial information regarding student needs for practical worksheets with digital designs assisted by virtual laboratories. The participants in this study were 48 college students of the Biology Education Study Program who had attended the water pollution subject in the Limnology Course for the Odd Semester of 2021/2022 Academic Year. The method in this research is to describe qualitative data descriptively using an instrument in the form of a need's questionnaire. Aspects studied included college student needs for practicum activities and practicum worksheets on water pollution material, student needs for practicum worksheets with digital designs, practicum worksheets with digital designs having practicum worksheet components, and student needs for virtual integrated practicum worksheets. laboratories. The results showed that 97.2% of college students needed practicum and practicum worksheets on water pollution materials, 91.6% of college students needed practicum worksheets with digital designs, 79.32% of college students needed practicum worksheets that met the components, and 89.5% of college students require practicum worksheets with digital designs that are integrated with virtual laboratories. Based on these results, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop a practicum worksheet with digital design assisted by a virtual laboratory on water pollution materials. An analysis study of research developments in the field of physics laboratory work in 2016-2021 was carried out on the scholar database. This study aims to determine the number of international publications in the field of physics laboratory work, maps of international publications on research in the field of physics laboratory work and recommendations for future research opportunities in the field of physics laboratory work. Search data collection through scholar with keywords laboratory work physics. Data in the form of the number of publications per year were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2013. Meanwhile, maps of international publications in the field of physics laboratory work and recommendations for future research opportunities in the field of physics laboratory work were analyzed using Vos Viewer. The results of the study revealed that the number of publications in the field of physics laboratory work in 2016-2021 with the highest scholar index occurred in 2017 reaching 36 publications (0.36%). The largest number of international publications in the field of physics laboratory work is the Institute of Physics (IOP) Science. The publication map found 27 items with 7 clusters. Recommendations for research opportunities that researchers suggest are school laboratory, stem education, science learning, general physics laboratory, student attitude and 3d virtual environment. As a response to the emerging need of science educators to provide students the opportunities to learn and improve experimentation (cognitive) and laboratory (psychomotor) skills in an online setup during the COVID-19 pandemic, a three-week biodiversity module was designed and implemented among senior high school students. Through the module, the students proposed eco-friendly alternatives to some existing household practices. They tested the effectivity of the alternatives through the experimental design that they themselves formulated. Before and after the module implementation, the students answered problem-solving questions, whose results, through several statistical tests such as the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test, confirmed the improvement in the targeted skills. Subjected to thematic analysis, the triangulated data manifested the incorporation of higher cognitive and psychomotor functions in accomplishing some module tasks. The analysis of data proved that the decreasing instructional scaffolding while mirroring the precepts of the discovery learning approach, allowed the increase of student involvements; hence the integration of higher order cognitive and psychomotor functions. The purpose of this research is to develop standardized test instruments to measure 21st century skills (4Cs) based on real laboratory for Indonesian eleventh grade high school students on the subject of temperature and heat transfer. The method used in this study is research and development (R&D) by adapting the ADDIE development model. The instruments used to consist of 16 items multiple choices measuring 21st century skills based on real laboratory both for temperature and heat transfer topic. The same instrument was tested on 3 experts and 63 eleventh grade students who attended school on the island of Java, consisting of 37 female students and 26 male students. The revised results will be processed to become stage 2 test instruments. We analyzed the feasibility of 21st century skills test instruments using an ANATES V4. We analyze its validity using the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). We found that the test of sub-material temperature and expansion has high reliability 0.60 and for the test of sub-material conduction heat transfer has enough reliability 0.49. There are some problems not validated are caused by several factors, such as students simply guessing the answers, not watching experimental videos first, not studying heat matter, etc. The implication of this study is that the problems with this proposed standardized test should be further improved. This study aims to build a virtual laboratory in networking field by leveraging virtualization technology. The R&D research framework is used in this study and has been tested on a limited basis on a laboratory scale. The virtualization technology has succesfully implemented in our virtual laboratory infrastructure. However, several supporting technology is adopted to provide easy access for students to access virtual laboratories. In addition, some adjustment is done to virtual machines to suits the needs of students learning practice in the field of networking. Some of these adjustments were made because we need to suit the hardware specifications and to provide the best practical experience. With the virtual laboratory, students no longer facing heterogeneous instalation result, no longer need to have high specification PC for simulation and even they can access the virtual laboratory through their smartphones. We report on a laboratory-based x-ray microscope allowing for phase-contrast imaging of soft tissue samples. The used beam tracking approach allows retrieval of Ultra-Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (USAXS) or dark field alongside attenuation and differential phase. We show the dependence of the refraction and dark field signal on the size of the imaged features. The application of the technique to a biological sample is also demonstrated. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the development of a virtual laboratory on excretory system materials. By using 60 students at SMP N 2 BELO. Data analysis from experts or experts consists of 3 media experts, 3 material experts, and 3 linguists. The validation results from the experts are distributed through a questionnaire/questionnaire then its validity is tested using the Aiken's Coefficient Value test. The percentage of the feasibility of the virtual laboratory based on the results of the assessment of media experts is 92%, material experts are 92% and language experts are 91%. Meanwhile, the percentage of media eligibility based on a limited-scale trial conducted on 60 students was 80.54% with a worthy category for a large-scale trial. The advantages of the developed virtual laboratory products include: (1) the product is equipped with a pretest and posttest. (2) the product is synchronized with the Student Activity Sheet to reduce misconceptions. (3) the product is programmed offline. (4) the product is programmed to be accessible on android/smartphone. The article presents the results of scientific research on a laboratory setup of fractured rock massifs. The laboratory setup was operated in three-axis compression, which simulated tectonic loads. The rock massifs themselves were replaced with equivalent gypsum materials that simulated rocky soils. The cracks were intersected with fill (clay material was modeled). The cracks were assumed to be intersected to model highly fractured rocks (RQD<50%). The location of cracks in the massif was chosen at different angles. Thus, fractured rock massifs under the action of tectonic loads were investigated. Purpose of work: verification of mathematical modeling models in the calculation of massive strongly fractured rocks under different tectonic loads (vertical and horizontal). The results obtained were used to create calculation schemes of the finite element method for a series of calculations on the verification of environmental models based on the results of equivalent materials modeling. Recently, the interest has been returning to the design of the new series of compressor model stages and their experimental verification. Two series of model stages were designed at the scientific and research laboratory "Gas Dynamics of Turbomachines" in the framework of cooperation with an industrial partner. The calculation results showed a sharp decrease of the efficiency for low mass flow rate stages in comparison with medium mass flow rate ones. Analysis and comparison of the flow parameters showed that the cause is sharply increasing losses in the impellers. The relative velocity at the entrance of the impeller blade cascade was calculated by the Universal Modeling Method, increases sharply, which leads to an increase in losses, despite the fact that according to the results of profiling, in the program of inviscid quasi-three-dimensional calculation. Its value should be moderate. A numerical study was conducted for solving the problem. The aim of the study was a comparison of the velocities at the entrance to the impeller blade cascade that was calculated according to the 3DM.023 inviscid quasi-three-dimensional calculation program and according to the Universal Modeling Method program. The approximating formulas of coefficients have been created that take into account velocity differences separately for 2D and 3D impellers. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of making a portable laboratory integrated with local wisdom using a project-based learning approach to improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Duta Bangsa University Surakarta, Indonesia in the 2020/2021 academic year. The total number of participating students was 239 with 84.10% male students and 15.90% female students. To evaluate the effectiveness, the applied instruments are in the form of Likert scale questionnaire, open ended questions to get the participants explaining their abilities after the making of the portable laboratory, together with pre-test and post-test questions. The analysis was carried out on the results of the questionnaire based on clustering with the K-means algorithm, then it is compared with the answers to the open-ended questions, pre-test, and post-test results, and finally with the portable laboratory products produced by the students. The results indicate that making a portable laboratory integrated with local wisdom using a project-based learning approach is effective in improving students' learning outcomes such as character, knowledge, skills, attitudes, and 21st-century skills. Science process skills are indispensable for science students at various levels of education. Science process skills can be trained through experimental activities. In the current pandemic era, experimental activities must allow science students to do it independently in their respective homes without going to campus laboratories. Smartphone sensors have the potential to be used as tools in science experiments because they are easy and flexible to do anywhere. This research was focused on developing classical mechanics experiments using smartphone sensors to train science process skills. Development was carried out using the ADDIE model. The product was an experimental handbook intended for science students at universities. The experimental handbook was developed based on the science process skills approach. The results of expert validation on handbook obtained valid criteria. The product was implemented in the Fundamental Physics course in the Science Education Study Program. In the implementation stage, science process skills of science students obtained results 15.38 % low, 65.38 % medium, and 19.24 % high. Based on these results, classical mechanics experiments using smartphone sensors can train science process skills. Science students can acquire science process skills through experiments they do at home. This study reports a survey that has been conducted to determine the students of Civil Engineering's perception of the awareness and the knowledge of readiness for Open-Ended Laboratory (OEL) implementation. The study implemented quantitative methods and all data were collected using questionnaires that have been distributed to the students. A total number of 124 respondents from part six Diploma of Civil Engineering students, Universiti Teknologi MARA Pasir Gudang Campus have participated in this study. The questionnaire was divided into three sections: the students' background; their awareness of OEL implementation and their knowledge of OEL. Analysis of findings shows that students demonstrate positive attitudes in both sections. The finding shows that the students understand OEL in their course. The finding also shows that the students understand the OEL implementation in the course. From these findings, it can be concluded that the diploma students of Civil Engineering are aware and occupied with enough pieces of information about OEL that are implemented in their course. Laboratory work is tremendously notable in chemistry learning process in order to construct the theory that has been obtained in the regular class. However during the Covid-19 pandemic laboratory work has never been conducted since the pandemic started out as an outbreak in Wuhan because the government banned any offline learning process at school. Therefore in this case this study set out to develop a 3D-virtual lab to overcome this obstacle. The 3D-virtual lab is urgently required since it could be employed as a supplement or a substitute as long as the laboratory work in a conventional lab is still restricted. In this study, the research and development cycle model consists of five stages namely the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The material developed was acid-base titration. The product was run properly with the help of oculus and controller devices. The product was validated by three experts based on the content, the learning instruction, and the technique aspects. The validation results were in the form of score and suggestions. The validation score of the product given by the experts was 0,83 and then the data suggestion was applied to develop the product itself. The next step was product legibility assessment that was conducted by eight educators and twenty four students. The three aspects (content, learning, and technique) were assessed by educators while only one aspect (technique) was assessed by students. Evidently it was found that the product legibility score given by educators was 94%. Whereas the legibility of the product given by students was 98%. The data analysis was proven valid in terms of the criteria and feasible to use after conducting evaluation. Therefore, evidently the 3D-virtual lab becomes one of learning media that enables the students to conduct online laboratory work during the pandemic. In addition, the 3D-virtual lab minimizes any risks during the conventional laboratory work or guarantees safety, reduces the operational cost, and makes laboratory work more accessible. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 brought significant changes to Indonesia's education system. Technology and information are needed to implement learning processes, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Teachers can create meaningful learning by developing Pedagogical Content Knowledge which can be actualized using the Content Representation (CoRe) Framework and Pedagogical and Professional-Experience Repertoires (PaP-eRs) designs. The method used in this study was research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The feasibility of the virtual laboratory was validated by expert validators, namely media experts and material experts based on the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). The types of data obtained were qualitative and quantitative data, and the results of the study indicated an increase in learning outcomes as well as an increase in students' learning motivation. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the way students learn from face-to-face to online learning. This condition is a challenge for educators to provide online teaching materials. Teaching materials developed to facilitate students to learn independently. The characteristics of the teaching materials developed give students the freedom to learn and facilitate the development of their abilities and skills. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of blended learning-based laboratory inquiry teaching materials in improving students' self-regulated learning in terms of gender. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The test subjects in this study were class XI in one of the public high schools in Mataram City, which consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, which consisted of 67 students. There are 34 male students and 33 female students. The data collection technique used a self-regulated learning questionnaire instrument. The instrument refers to seven indicators of self-regulated learning. Data analysis was carried out using N-gain and T-test. The results showed that blended learning-based laboratory inquiry teaching materials could increase students' self-regulated learning. Based on the results of the T test, there was a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class. The third self-regulated learning indicator, namely goal setting and planning, got the highest increase compared to other indicators. The second indicator, namely organization and information, obtained the lowest increase compared to other indicators. Self-regulated learning of male students is higher than female students. With the availability of online class media in the blended learning learning model that can be accessed anytime and anywhere by students, it can increase the readiness of students themselves before face-to-face learning in class takes place. Student activity also increases because by providing material earlier through media uploaded to online classes it will stimulate students to look for other material that is still related and be more active in asking things they do not understand. The outbreak of the COVID-19 disease Indonesia, causing various impacts in life, education, especially at the junior high school (SMP), that causes the learning process to be carried out online. Teachers are required to prepare creative, contextual, and fun learning so that students can understand concepts correctly. Learning science, especially photosynthetic material, requires a discovery process through practical activities. Practical activities can be carried out by utilizing visualization elements with the use of a virtual laboratory. Related to the explanation above, we decided to develop a virtual laboratory learning media based on Adobe Flash in the photosynthesis practicum for seventh-grade junior high school students. The development of a virtual laboratory in this study, the methodology was adapted from the multimedia learning development model by Lee and Owens which consists of 5 stages, including assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Virtual laboratory validity levels in a learning media based on expert assessment is 88%, it is valid and feasible; in terms of the function as a learning media as well as the correctness and clarity of the concept of the material based on the junior high school science teacher's assessment is 92% so that it can be categorized as very valid and feasible to be implemented. Laboratory activities play a very important role in supporting science learning activity which allows students to gain practical skills through experimentation and provides opportunities to have a deeper understanding of the content or concepts being studied. Especially during the current covid-19 pandemic, laboratory activities are directly limited or even eliminated, therefore there needs to be a solution for implementing substitute laboratory activities so that student competencies, especially practical skills through experimental activities, are still mastered. This study aims to develop a Virtual Science Laboratory (VSL) in the form of a computer application designed to improve the learning approach by introducing a safe and interactive lab environment for students. The design of this research is Research and Development (R & D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation) method. The Virtual Science Laboratory (VSL) learning media product has produced the concept of linear motion using a Virtual Ticker Timer. The feasibility of the VSL for linear motion concept was analyzed based on the average percentage score of material expert validation 83.0%, media/ technology expert validation 84.0%, teacher validation 87.5% and it can be concluded that the validation reached the very feasible criteria. This study aims to understand the characteristics of learning media, Virtual Chemical Laboratory (VCL) and the appropriateness of VCL in the materials of safety and security in a laboratory for the introduction of chemistry for students. This development study is conducted using the 4-D development model (Four D Models) which consists of four steps: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The design of the product development is determined by the judgments of material experts, media experts, teachers as the future users and students. The results of the judgments are in the form of qualitative and quantitative data using Likert scale, products' specialties, as well as comments and suggestions of the experts. Subsequently, the data were put into score tabulations and then were analyzed to determine its category based on the ideal score of the products' appropriateness. The results of the study show that there are six components in the development of VCL that are Main Menu, Standard Competencies and Basic Competencies (SK & KD), Usage Instructions, Learning Materials, Virtual Lab, and Quiz. Meanwhile, the results of the experts' appraisals which were gathered from five chemistry teachers regarding the product's appropriateness show the average overall score of 114.2 which falls into the category of Very Good with a percentage of 91.36%. Scientific writing skills as one of the aspects of scientific literacy enable students to have thinking competencies in sustainability that facilitate problem-solving related to real-world sustainability issues, challenges, and opportunities. Many studies have been engaging to search various strategies to support students' scientific literacy by applying scientific practices. Peer review is the critical evaluation of an academic's work by scientists in the same or similar field of study to ensure the research report is valid dan original scientifically. This study aimed to investigate the effect of peer review on pre-service biology teachers' scientific writing skills. For this purpose, a single group pre-post evaluation design was conducted with 208 pre-service biology teachers. The instrument used to measure scientific writing skills is a practicum report assessment was carried out using a report assessment rubric. This scientific writing skill data was then analyzed using non-parametric statistical tests and further studied which aspects are most developed. The result showed that peer review helped to improve scientific writing skills on laboratory reports during the study from home in the pandemic era. While writing result and discussion part was the most improvement among other parts of the lab report. Education during the Covid-19 pandemic must continue with all the consequences and limitations. The Distance Learning Policy is the solution provided by the government in this condition, learning at one of the SMAIT Boarding in West Java carries out learning with a limitation on the number of students, so teachers are required to make learning with two methods, namely online and offline. This study compares the effectiveness of learning with Virtual laboratory in the form of simulations and interactive animations for online class and Real Laboratory for offline classes on vector material. The research method used is a mixed-method by comparing the effectiveness of student learning outcomes, questionnaire results, findings during the learning process, and interviews with student representatives from three classes with a total sample of 89 people. The analysis shows that there are differences in learning outcomes between online and offline classes. Then students in offline classes can communicate more with teachers, practice motor skills, and the range of student scores is not far away, while online classes can better understand by independent study, lack of communication with teachers, and the range of student scores is very far. A research has been conducted to obtain the overviews of physics laboratory equipment, practicum implementation, and barriers faced by teachers in organizing a physics learning by implementing practicum method at an Islamic senior high school in Bandung District. This research was done descriptively, in which the data was collected through observation and interviews with physics teachers and students. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: 1) physics laboratory in the school is not nationally standardized in term of its size (area) and not purposively conditioned as a physics laboratory alone, but it acts as a science (including biology and chemistry) laboratory; 2) physics laboratory equipment consists of several measuring instruments, observation tools (telescope and microscopes), and laboratory kits (electricity and magnet, heat and thermodynamics, optics, and mechanics) are not well maintained, in poor condition, and incomplete as well as some of them are damaged; 3) physics learning that implements practicum method is rarely conducted due to the barriers faced by teachers, including the limitations of physics practicum equipment and the limitations of time dealing with the achievement of curriculum targets; 4) students finds difficulties to understand some physics concepts because they do not have enough opportunity to observe the physics phenomena in a laboratory. The aim of this study is report creativity of preservice physiscs teachers in design physics laboratory based on Arduino for learning STEM. Before design the project, they were involved in an introductory theoretical part, in which they were taught the basics of Arduino and its programming language, a hands-on section in four mini-projects and theoritical about sensors and data aquisition. The Covid-19 pandemic has shifted the format of the implementation of the teaching and learning process and has greatly impacted the fulfillment of competencies inherent in courses. This impact is very influential on practice courses, especially in the fulfillment of laboratory chemistry skills. Therefore, a simulator instrument was developed as a virtual laboratory in the implementation of online practice courses. The simulators developed are UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). In the blended practice course format where 85% of the meetings are held online and 15% of the meetings are held offline, the simulator is used in the online practice course. The purpose of using the simulator is to improve students' skills in operating the instrument. The results of the survey of student perceptions of the use of the simulator stated that the majority of respondents strongly agreed or agreed with the ease of downloading the simulator, the ease of operating the simulator, the use of the simulator was very helpful in operating the instrument in the laboratory and the time spent completing the simulator was comparable to a traditional laboratory. The aim of this study is to investigate the perception of students who attending online learning of physical pharmacy laboratory work. Online questionnaires were used to gather student perspectives on online learning that was conducted using several online learning platforms i.e Zoom Cloud Meeting, Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Panopto, and Quizizz. Questionnaires contains the closed questions about student's demographic, devices used during online learning, source of internet connection, use of online learning tools or platforms, the internet connectivity issues, their perceptions about the learning tools and the online learning process. One hundred and sixty one students, whom were divided into six classes, were surveyed. The results indicated that various devices preferred by students for attending online course were laptop (77%), tablet/ smartphone (3.1%), personal computer (1.9%) and combination of these devices (18%). WiFi was the main source of internet for students (77.5%), while 33.5% of students stated that they use mobile data package to participate in the online learning. As much as 31.7% of the students reported that they often experience internet connection issues during Zoom meeting, while only 0.6 % of students stated that they never experienced it. About a quarter of the students said that they never experienced technical problems when accessing Google Classroom, while 70.8% of students stated that they rarely experienced it. Most of the students stated that online learning platforms helped them during the learning process so that they got a better understanding about the course. More than 50% of students were enthusiastic about participating in online learning and find it enjoyable. Overall, students have positive attitude towards online learning of laboratory work during Covid-19 outbreak, despite some technical hindrance and no experience of using laboratory instruments. A study on the traceability of force measurements in calibration laboratories in Indonesia has been carried out. The data was collected from Indonesian National Accreditation Committee (KAN) database, according to the Calibration Measurement Capability (CMC) list for force measurements from accredited calibration laboratories until October 2020. The study started from the CMC SNSU-BSN and continued to the CMC of each accredited calibration laboratory to seek traceability. The results showed that all accredited laboratories have traceability to SNSU-BSN, either directly connected or through one or two calibration laboratories. Because each laboratory has a different expression on their CMCs, this creates different perceptions of CMC. Practicum is an activity that is very important in the physics learning process. In this era of information and technology, many physics simulations can be used in the learning process. These simulations are applications on Android that can be accessed quickly and downloaded for free in the google play store. This opportunity can be used to improve the existing learning process in schools. But how to use this simulation in the learning process is not widely known. We need a study to develop an experimental module using this simulation. The main objective of this study is to create a practical module using a virtual physics laboratory on optical material for junior high schools. The stages of development are needed analysis, preliminary design, validation by experts (learning technology experts and subject matter experts), and product trials by users or student's responses. The virtual laboratory-based learning module that has been developed is classified as very feasible. This shows that these products can be used to support the learning process of grade VIII students. The result is supported by the average respondents' assessment of 82% in the "very good" category. This assessment was obtained from the results of the learning material expert's evaluation of 83% in the "very good" category, 70% of media experts in the "good" category, 85% of colleagues in the "very appropriate" category, User of 81% in the "very good" category, and student responses of 82% in the "very good" category. Educational building is practically exposed to noise pollution. This paper evaluates the noise comfort of the laboratory using sound level meter (model MS6708) and questionnaire form. This paper aims to identify the sources of noise in the laboratory, to measure the noise level in selected laboratories with the guidelines recommended by Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE) and to compare the level of comfortableness with the total average noise level measured in selected laboratories. Service building, geomatic and highway engineering technology laboratory were the field measurement used in this study. Data collection was performed in every hour with running air-conditioning system from 9 am until 4 pm for five days using SLM. Through the questionnaire, 32 respondents comprising JTKA staffs and final year students of BNB program were randomly selected. From field observation, service building and highway laboratories exceeded the guidelines recommended by DOE which was 55 dBA. Geomatics laboratory has recorded noise value in the range of 46 dBA - 47 dBA which met the standard requirements. Furthermore, the feedback from the questionnaire survey demonstrated that the sources of noise were mostly originated from AHU room, blower and ducting system. Results showed that 34.4% of respondents were uncertain or having neutral perception about comfort level in service laboratory building. Similar to the highway laboratory, the respondents felt comfortable and uncertain with the surrounding environment at 37.5%. It can be observed that majority of respondents felt comfortable with the geomatic laboratory environment. Due to unpredictable future challenges, the UN 2030 agenda of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has called to action to end poverty, protect the planet, improve lives and focus on the need emphasis of Quality Education in Goal 4. Having quality education means having good educators whose role is crucial in preparing the new generations of students with prospective work skills. Conventionally, educators have the tendency of conducting laboratory class based on lab facilitator's instruction and guidance. In addition, there is no standardize approach on the grading scheme on laboratory report and practical activities been developed. Therefore, this study has developed a framework that connects the SDGs with based learning approaches in education (OBE) and enables student's performance been measured according to course outcomes (COs) and programme outcomes (POs). The OBE-SDGs related adoption has been applied to guide educators to grade students according to the appropriate level of task. The paper presents an example of a laboratory workshop on the discipline "Wastewater Treatment" for students in the field of "Construction Engineering" under the educational program "Water supply and sanitation". As an example, the process of biosorption wastewater treatment is considered, where powdered activated carbon is used as a sorbent, and the value of chemical oxygen demand is used as an indicator of the cleaning efficiency. As part of the laboratory workshop, several series of experiments were carried out with different concentrations of powdered activated carbon - 0.5 g / l, 1 g / l, 2 g / l and a control sample. Based on the results of the experiments, it was found that the greatest cleaning effect is achieved when the concentration of powdered activated carbon is 1 g / l. The greenbug Schizaphis graminum is major insect pests of wheat worldwide, causing heavy damage to wheat production. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of entomopathogenic fungal culture filtrate Metarhizium anisopliae and Cheatomium globosum on mortality percentage of adult and nymph of S. graminum. The experiments were conducted according to the factor, in a completely randomized design with three replications. Our results indicated that the highest concentration100% of culture filtrate M. anisopliae and C. globosum gave high mortality of adult S. graminum to recorded 64.95 and 54.95 % respectively compared with 6.54% at the control treatment after 72 h of treatment. while it reached when the same concentration and period of time of nymphs S. graminum 72.56 and 57.42% respectively compared with 8.13% at the control treatment All of these results suggested the effective use of fungal culture filtrate M. anisopliae and C. globosum and the possibility of entering it in the IPM program of aphid on wheat plants. In the technology of modern finishing works, an urgent direction is development of compositions of dry plaster mixtures using biological, energy-saving and local materials of natural origin. This article presents the results of scientific study and laboratory testing the introduction of bio-plant micro-fillers in production of dry plaster mixtures on a gypsum binder. Attempts have been made to model the composition of gypsum plaster mixes used for the internal walls of buildings and structures. As a result, mathematical models of optimal compositions with high adhesion strengths of these compositions with various surfaces have been developed, which is one of the promising directions in the field of dry construction. Ordinary Portland cement-based concrete as well as its lightweight derivates are essential structural or supplementary non-bearing materials in residential and non-residential construction. However, a considerable amount of natural and industrially produced aggregates is consumed to their manufacturing. In this context, different sorts of blended demolition wastes from construction industry may introduce a promising alternatives with respect to traditionally used aggregates. This work is focused on the application of recycled lightweight blend (RLB) replacing natural aggregate in the amount of 0 – 100 % in the production of concretes with adjusted properties. Laboratory prepared modified concrete samples, cured under water for 28 days, were subjected to testing to determine their structural and thermal-physical properties and the results were compared with reference material. The analysis of obtained data revealed notable weight reduction of hardened concretes with higher RLB content promoting their thermal performance. There is a general agreement that laboratory experiments are vital supplements to lectures in achieving conceptual knowledge in applied sciences. Hands-on skills can be inculcated among students only through laboratory work. The traditional physical labs follow a stereotype format making students to work-out predefined experiments, using pre-set procedures, and usual readings. The system does not promote intuitive understanding, motivation, and active learning. Many research studies have reported that digital educational environments can be very useful in transforming laboratory work and providing a better learning experience. The present study aims to evaluate the impact of virtual reality (VR) based physics laboratory simulator on first-year engineering students' learning achievements. This research work presents a virtual reality lab environment as an assistive tool for developed VR-Ohm application. The study aims to project the developed application as an assistive tool to prepare students before experimenting in the real physical lab with an informed and motivated approach. Nevertheless, the application can be equally effective when used to understand and perform the experiment in the non-availability of the physical lab due to various reasons such as the absence of the lab, time-constraints, or even a pandemic lockdown. The application was implemented among 180 randomly selected first-year engineering students. A Comparative study of students' learning achievements using only the traditional physical lab (control group), and that using the VR-Ohm application prior to the physical lab (experiment group) was done to evaluate the impact of both the systems. The comparison of both the systems was done by way of evaluating their effectiveness in terms of srudents' learning gain, learning motivation, cognitive load offered by the system, and the technology acceptance. The results of the study explored that the VR-Ohm application has significantly impacted the students' learning through increased achievement and motivation. Additionally, the system was found to cause less cognitive load on the students. ISO 14001 is a set of standards to help organizations for constructing an environmentally building or rooms. In the campus environment, the ISO 14001 is used as the guide for creating an environmentally laboratory. Based on this ISO, the environmental condition of the laboratory need to be checked periodically. Recently, IoT devices were developed as the tools to monitor the ecological status of the laboratory. However, the recent study of IoT-based monitoring is used only for collecting the data. The data is being processed manually on the server. In our research, we try to implement machine learning for the IoT-based monitoring tools to improve the performance and gives the capability to respond to any condition of the laboratory. In this paper, we discussed our proposed design of IoT-based monitoring devices. We used a microcontroller module called NodeMCU ESP8266 to build an efficient monitoring system. ESP8266 is a type of microcontroller board equipped with a WiFi module to make it possible to design a system that can send data from multiple sensors (temperature, humidity, light intensity, CO2 concentration) to be displayed and sent to the database server using the WiFi module. The data collected in the database will be processed using machine learning by the Classification and Regression Tree (CART) algorithm and then implemented to the microcontroller as embedded machine learning to detect impending early threats and provide early warnings. With this method, it has been found that the CART algorithm provides a speedy processing time with training and testing time of 0.5 seconds and 0.06 seconds, the precision of 0.999154, recall of 0.999946, and f1-score of 1.0. The temperature and kinematic fields analysis results in a room heated by a gas infrared emitter (GIE) are presented. The analysis has been carried out based on the results of mathematical modeling using the COMSOL Multiphysics environment. This article describes a preliminary study on students' characteristics and their needs in physics learning at SMAN 1 Koto Baru. This study was conducted to evaluate the characteristics of the students and to analyze the need of teacher responses assessment in physics learning activities. The sort of research to be used is research and development. This research uses descriptive statistical methods. Items developed in the form of E-Book based on Project Based Learning (PJBL) models sponsored by the Science Laboratory Kit, Physics content class X. The model of growth uses the Plomp model. Researchers used interview cards, instructor questionnaires and student questionnaires to collect initial data. Initial data collection was carried out at SMAN 1 Koto Baru. Based on the findings of the survey observations, the results of the analysis on students' characteristics shows the percentage of attitudes at 66.67%, initial ability at 62.50%, learning styles at 70%, learning interest at 58.3%, and the motivation at a percentage of 68.75%. Analysis of the needs reflected in the performance analysis at 82.14%, the standard graduation analysis is based on the analysis of attitudes at 80%. This study examined the effects of the factors on Physic achievement of 8-grade Indonesian students in the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2011 using Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM). The participants of this study were 9,074 eighth-grade students from 153 schools within 31 provinces in Indonesia. This study employed HLM 7 software to analyse the interaction between variables within a multilevel model. Computational gas dynamics methods seem to be a suitable tool for calculating gas-dynamic characteristics of a designed compressor. Scientific and research laboratory "Gas dynamics of turbomachines", SPbPU successfully applies the results of generalization of CFD calculations to creation of mathematical models of flow path elements. In particular, a model of vaneless diffusers with relative widths of 0.014-0.100 was created earlier in this way. This research opens the way to extending the modeling range to a smaller relative width of 0.006. Before application of CFD calculations, it is necessary to develop a method of setting up calculations and verifying them. The paper presents a calculation method, namely: the choice of the grid (by varying the number of cells), the turbulence model, the sector of calculation, and ways of setting boundary conditions. Verification was carried out by comparison with experimental data by C. Rodgers for diffusers, which were tested together with impellers. CFD calculations were compared with W. Jansen's vaneless diffuser wind tunnel tests with a uniform flow at the inlet. The difference is explained by the fact that the described experiment was carried out at a lower velocity coefficient. The learning outcome of laboratory skills in pharmacy practice is the competency of students in drug dispensing ideally completed with authentic cases in a pharmacy (experiential learning) and the involvement of standardized patients to represent an authentic/real-world learning process. To examine students’ perception of the involvement of standardized patients and to examine the influence of experiential learning with standardized patients on the learning outcome of laboratory skills in pharmacy practice. This research involved 12 standardized patients in two treatment classes and three control classes. The standardized patients were given a scenario of the cases found in an authentic pharmacy practice consisting of self-medication and prescription services. The students identified the problems found in a patient’s prescription and provided information related to the medication administered to the patient. The assessment was given by the lecturer and assistant to the students for their overall performance, dispensing practice, and perception of the learning process. This study shows that ≥ 80 % students positively perceived the involvement of standardized patients. The implementation of experiential learning by involving standardized patients improved 87.25 % students’ learning outcomes with 84.5% good performance in prescription service and 90% good performance in self- medication service. This study aimed to determine: 1) the implementation of SAVI learning in the Management Laboratory and Quality Assurance in School Laboratories, 2) to determine the relationship between achievement and learning activities on student learning styles. This study used a correlation study with a sample of 40 students. This study used to test and non-test data collection techniques. Test research used the mid-test and final-test scores while the non-test score used the student learning activity questionnaire and the student learning style questionnaire. Based on the results of the study concluded that the implementation of SAVI learning by involving all physical activities in each learning process in the form of presentations and questions and answers, practicum and the making of learning videos. Student achievement scores at the mid-test and final-test were 68.275% and 72.625% while learning activities reached 53.833% at the mid-test and 55.237% at the final test. The relationship between learning achievement and student learning activities on learning styles that include visual, auditory and kinesthetic and there was no significant relationship between the two variables.
