The present paper provides a compound having high acid corrosion protection properties based on amine-containing compounds. The amine used is the condensation of individual polyethylenepolyamines (PEPA), in particular diethylenetriamine (DETA) and isobutyric acid, followed by alkylation of the resulting compound by means of alkenylsuccinic acid. The structure of obtained amidoimide has been confirmed by IR spectrum. The physicochemical parameters of the compound were studied; amidoimide tests were carried out to assess the inhibitory ability by gravimetric and electrochemical methods. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
