The article is devoted to the development of a test system for the simultaneous gene diagnostics of four alleles in the beta-casein locus in cattle. Allele-specific TaqMan probe technology was used. In this case, the fluorescent probe is an oligonucleotide complementary to the PCR product. In order to conduct bioinformatic studies, some of the materials were taken from the OMIA (Australia) and NCBI (USA) databases. On the basis of the developed methodology, certification of two breeds of cattle (red steppe, bestuzhevskaya), belonging to the red genealogical root, was carried out.
