Maternal and child health are part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Globally, the world is pushing to reduce maternal mortality to below 70 per 100,000 live births and to reduce infant and under-five years old children mortality rate to 12 per 1000 live births by 2030. However, maternal and child mortality rates in Indonesia remain quite high. Indonesia National Survey data show maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still quite high at 305 per 100,000 population and the child mortality rate is 24 per 1,000 live births. In order to reduce maternal and child mortality rate, Indonesian government implements various policy interventions including by pushing local governments to create policy innovation in maternal and child health. SANPIISAN (Love and Care for Mothers and Children) is an initiative from Health Office of Kota Semarang to create an integrated system to carry out preventive measures to reduce maternal and child mortality rate in Kota Semarang. Given the success of SANPIISAN, this paper examines the mechanisms that sustain the innovation. In order to answer the question, the paper utilizes diffusion of innovation theory to analyse the diffusion and momentum processes of ideas within a specific social system. Methodology of the research is qualitative research and data are derived from interviews with main policy actors in SANPIISAN program (N=10). We argue that the success of SANPIISAN is supported by strong network among innovation adopters. The research contributes to the growing discussion in local policy innovation to support the achievement of SDGs. We conclude that SANPIISAN has proven to be one of the strategic and effective efforts that has significant leverage for the prevention of maternal and child mortality rates in Kota Semarang. Lockdown is one of the policies taken by many countries to prevent the spread of covid 19. In contrast to other countries, Indonesia does not adopt a lockdown policy but prefers Restrictions on Community Activities (PKM). Restrictions on community activities such as referring to lockdown but not in full, the existing policies include four restrictions: cessation of the implementation of activities in schools and educational institutions, restrictions on activities at work, restrictions on religious activities, and restrictions in public places. This paper tries to investigate the effect of restrictions on Community Activities on air quality, especially on the concentration of Carbon Monoxide in one city and partially based on core activity. This study measures the column concentration of total Carbon Monoxide (CO) from the Tropospheric Monitoring Instrument (TROPOMI) on the Sentinel-5 Precursor satellite. In this study, we analyze the average CO concentration of Semarang City before and during COVID-19 from January 1, 2019, to August 30, 2021. The results show that the policy of restrictions on Community Activities can reduce the value of CO concentration to remain stable at < 30 mol/m2 in core activities with the dominance of local internal transportation within the city (education, settlements, trading center, and industry), while activities with the dominance of transportation outside the city (transportation nodes) produce different things with an average concentration of > 32 mol/m2, but with a downward trend. To get the OTTV value, you must first calculate the solar radiation value. Solar radiation occurs as a result of the sun's heat being exposed to the surface of the building and then goes inside so that the air temperature inside the building gets hotter. The solar factor is one of the elements of solar radiation which is important in determining the overall thermal transfer value for each outer area of a building. The availability of solar factor data in one place is very important to use for building design purposes. Calculating the solar factor is very difficult, moreover, SNI only contains data for the city of Jakarta. There are several ways to calculate the solar factor, with available SNI tables or by laboratory experiments or direct measurements of sunlight. So to make it easier for the designer, we propose to use the rule of thumb formula. The method used is based on local solar factor data, then a radian angle is made from 0 ° -360 °, which results in an ellipse shape in an equation. This paper concludes that the Rule of thumb formula is very helpful for architects in calculating the SF value and can also complete the table in SNI: 2011, which only contains the SF value for the city of Jakarta, meaning that it only applies in Jakarta, so similar research is needed to get the SF value for other cities in Indonesia. City DNA is a term used to describe the elements that make up the city's uniqueness that is useful in understanding the development of a city's competitive ability from the past, at present and for the future, using the experiences of a city in the past and present that it has been through. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method that tries to provide an overview of the city's DNA in a part of the cosmopolitan city of Semarang in Indonesia in order to explain empirical facts that persisted since the past and currently occur in several parts of the city that at first glance look very different from one another. The discovery of the various elements that make up the city's DNA and their relationship with each other is a concept for the formulation of sustainable, outstanding universal value (OUV) and fostering the ability to compete in cities that are also sustainable. The sustainable DNA of a Place depends on Culture, Commodity & Competition. The paper describes the relationship between those 3 crucial components, which form the unique DNA that is persisting from the past to the future. The DNA nucleus remains (constant), while the 3C, which "encloses" the core, is dynamic and can adapt to situations. The population growth rate of Semarang City has led to an increase of waste volume related to the high volume consumption. Based on data of waste production by the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) or Environmental Services of Semarang City (2012 to 2016), households are the largest sector contributed to the volume of waste. In Government Regulation No. 81/2012 on Waste Management of Household, the community must be responsible for the waste. Tambak Lorok in Tanjung Mas area is classified as the area with the worst waste management in Semarang City. Therefore, there is a discourse that the government needs to develop 3R’s program to increase community participation. This paper aims at understanding and identifying the determinants that influence the 3R’s behavior of the community in Tanjung Mas by using the Theory Planned Behavior (TPB). The results of the present study indicated that attitude has the strongest relationship with the 3R’s behavior intention and is the most significant variable. Meanwhile, subjective norm, perception of behavioral control and situational factor are insignificant. The 3R’s behavior intention has a strong and significant relationship to 3R’s behavior. The government should make a campaign of 3R so that people who have negative attitudes toward 3R can have an awareness and more positive attitude hence the subjective norms for 3R behavior can be established. The creative industry (CI) is considered to promote human development while promoting the economic growth. It maintains and protects historical and cultural heritage, improve cultural capital, and foster communities as well as individual creativity. Although there is widespread classification of the CI, the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia has classified CI into 16 sub-sectors, i.e., (1) advertising, (2) architecture, (3) interior design, (4) product design, (5) craft, (6) visual communication design, (7) fashion, (8) film, animation, and video (9) photography, (10) application and game developers, (11) music, (12) performing arts, (13) publishing, (14) fine arts (15) TV and radio (broadcasting), and (16) gastronomy/culinary. The creative industry is an industry that originates from the use of creativity, skills and individual talents to create prosperity and employment by generating and exploiting the individual's creative and creative power. Batik industry is one of Creative Industry in Indonesia which plays an important role in the economic development. However, the Batik are facing difficulties in many areas, especially in spending their scarce resources efficiently. A case study to assess the efficiency of the Batik enterprises has been conducted by applying the data envelopment analysis in Semarang, Indonesia. The results show that from ten assigned Batik enterprises, there are nine enterprises’ that are considered efficient, while the rest are regarded as inefficient. Indrokilo sub-village in Central Java, Indonesia, has some assets including Bengkok land. As a customary land, it is also called as adat land and managed by village government of Lerep Village. The objective of the present study is to know the planning process in land utilization and the actors in the land tenure system. This research used an exploratory and descriptive method with time series approach. Furthermore, the result of this study showed that the on-going land utilization process uses the deliberation process. The agriculture program has been operated using Wanatani or agro-forestry concept where the multi-level concept is mutually beneficial among farmers. Community participation is promoted with the spirit of gotong-royong where the farmers contribute their time, materials and money to build communal shed based on collective effort during the constructions process. The seeds are obtained from Non-Government Organization. The secondary crops are cultivated by organic farming concept using feces of cattle as material or fertilizer and Biogas that is streamed to farmers’ houses. The result revealed that the tenure system of customary land provides mutual benefits to the local government and farmers. Trigonometry was a new mathematical material that was studied by high school students in X class. Trigonometry was important to understand by the students because the material was not only used in mathematics but also science, engineering, and other fields. An important component in proving the quality of learning was assessment. Therefore, this research aimed to describe student errors that arose when solving trigonometry problems. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of this research were 32 high school students grade X in Semarang City, Indonesia in the academic year 2019/2020. The grouping of student error types was based on Movshovitz-Hadar, Zaslavsky, and Inbar categories. Classification of student errors includes misused data, misinterpreted language, logically invalid inference, distorted theorem or definition, unverified solution, and technical error. The analysis showed that the mistakes made by the students were writing information was not following information in the problem, using the value of a variable for another variable, error in copying the details of the question to the answer sheet, error using symbols from other concepts, error when using rules or formula, error checking the result, erroneous in the calculation, and error manipulating algebraic symbols or operations.
