Traffic load has rapidly risen and this trend continuously grow due to increase demand in freight transports. Heavy vehicles (e.g., articulated trucks) have become prevalent in Indonesia for transporting domestic road freights. Ageing road infastructures (e.g., bridges) subject to increasing demand from heavy traffic load could considerably affect the existing road infrastructures may fail to satisfy specified structural requirements. Further, dynamic effects and excessive deformation induced by heavy traffic load may cause an accelerated rate of bridge structural deterioration and finally resulting in the reduced bridge residual service life. Consequently, many of these bridges are required major improvement, even reconstruction of bridge structures decisions in the future. As such there is a need to monitor bridge structures over time to ensure that they have the sufficient capacity to resist the intended design loads. This paper presents and discusses a real-time structural monitoring of bridge which can be used for assessing bridge structural health by measuring its dynamic response (e.g., frequency) using accelerometer-based sensors. The methodology for transformation of the measured accelerations to relative displacements and natural frequency was also described. The existing condition of a highway bridge located in Aceh Indonesia has been investigated using accelerometer sensor to estimate the bridge dynamic responses. The results of study show that vibration measurement using accelerometer sensor can capture the bridge dynamic responses which contribute to further assessment of possible failures of the structure and ultimately the prediction of service life of bridgesand assessment of bridge structures require an innovative technique which could potentially be used for rapid damage identification and provide reliable information. This paper presents a review on bridge dynamic monitoring using accelerometer and microwave radar interferometry (IBIS-S) for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of bridges. In particular, this study reviews the advantages and disadvantages of the measurement used in the recent studies. This paper presents a Monte Carlo simulation to determine the reliability and availability of boiler critical components in a steam power plant. The Monte Carlo simulation results are expected to be a reference for maintenance and repair times that will be used in the future. Steam power plant is one in every of the foremost wide used power plants in Indonesia, and one of them is located in Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. Nagan Raya steam power plant has an installed capacity of 2x110 megawatts. The highest failure frequency is found in the boiler, this is reflected in the high downtime. Performance in terms of reliability and availability needs to be evaluated to minimize these failures. Monte Carlo simulation is used as an evaluator to increase the reliability and availability of performance by predicting failure time and repair time (TTF and TTR) for each critical component of boiler part. Monte Carlo simulation uses random numbers with a uniform distribution (0 to 1) generated from generating random numbers, then converting them to non-uniform distributions using the inverse transformation method. Monte Carlo simulation will be carried out on eight critical components of the two boiler units at Nagan Raya steam power plant. Monte Carlo simulation results on eight critical components of the boiler obtained a reliability value of 30% to 42% with TTF at 260 hours to 1.312 hours, a reliability value of 22% to 41% with TTR at 1,57 hours to 2,26 hours, and the average availability value is above 99%. Presented in this paper is the utilization of house of risk in formulating a risk mitigation strategy for the supply chain of cloves in Simeulue District, Aceh Province, Indonesia. This application is expected to minimize the risk of the clove supply chain, as well as create an effective and efficient clove supply chain condition that can benefit producers (farmers). Cloves are strategic commodities and agricultural products that are mostly managed by the Indonesian people. Simeulue Regency is one of the clove producers in Aceh Province, where most of the people work as clove farmers. Fluctuation of clove prices every year makes the welfare of clove farmers decrease. This is due to supply chain risks that have never been mapped by local farmers. To solve this problem, house of risk method will be used to map the risk of the clove commodity supply chain from upstream to downstream as a whole. The risks that have the highest value will be formulated for mitigation actions. The results of the house of risk mapping, there are 6 highest risk agents whose mitigation actions will be formulated, namely: Improper transportation technique (A7) with an ARP value of 330, lack of experience in sourcing raw materials (A3) with an ARP value of 288, non-compliance with clove shipping documents (A13) with an ARP value of 276, ineffective communication (A9) with an ARP value 258, non-compliance with agreements with clove suppliers (A11) with an ARP value of 189, and failure to negotiate prices with producers (A15) with an ARP value of 126. Mitigation measures that have been formulated are conducting training (A7), evaluating the performance of raw material suppliers (A3), take work measurements (A13), evaluating effective communication systems (A9), evaluating supplier performance (A11), and evaluating cooperation with the producers (A15). The Government of Indonesia is trying to accelerate infrastructure projects to increase national economic growth. One of the infrastructure projects is the Trans Sumatera Toll Road (TSTR), built spans across Sumatera Island from the north to the southern part of the island, about 2,704 km. The developed connectivity is expected to increase regional economic growth and competitiveness on the island of Sumatera. This paper aims to identify the leading economic sectors in the region that the TSTR will pass by considering the northern part of Sumatera as the focus of the study. The location quotient (LQ) method was used to determine the leading economic sector in the province in the northern part of Sumatera by using the gross regional domestic product (GRDP). This study shows that regencies and cities in the Provinces of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam and North Sumatera have the potential to contribute to regional economic growth, with the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors in both provinces as the leading sectors. As the largest country in Southeast Asia with the longest coastline and also the country with 70% of sea coverage, offshore wind farms are one of the renewable energy options that have not been explored in Indonesia. Three turbines with different rated power and cut-in speeds; NREL 5 MW, LW 8 MW, and DTU 10 MW are used as the baseline for energy analyses. NCEP-NCAR reanalysis from the 1990-2019 dataset is analyzed to explore composite 30 years average, seasonal pattern, extreme wind condition, and wind distribution. This study found that even though Indonesia is located in an equatorial zone which is known as a marginal wind speed area, three areas are found to be potential offshore wind farm locations: Aceh, Southern Java, and Southern Papua. The wind speed will be higher in the dry season rather than the wet season. Each location has different wind speed distribution, however, 86% in Aceh, 80% in Southern Java, and 81% in Southern Papua are above the cut-in speed for the NREL 5 MW.
