Cities affected by climate change and those cities' effects contribute to the environmental issue. The effort from the leaders in the national and local authorities is very important. The national level is from the New Urban Agenda (NUA) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Meanwhile, the local authority is implementing the Low Carbon Cities Framework (LCCF). The gap in this paper is despite the LCCF being readied at a local authority, the constraints identified as data collection, manpower, funding, and lack of management skill in implementing LCCF. This paper aims to study implementing the LCCF and Assessment System for one system approach only in building elements under the LCCF to reduce energy and water consumption at the Headquarters Office of Subang Jaya City Council, Selangor. The objectives of the paper are to study the approaches to reducing energy and water consumption with a performance-based assessment. The methodology of this paper was quantitative for LCCF assessment and compared to the baseline year data. The findingof this paper indicates briefly the action to be undertaken by team members at the local authority for strategies and proposedaction plans. Finally, the local authority is playing a major role in the first initiative to quantum leap the action with a strongcommitment from stakeholders. Real estate being the largest world class asset is responsible to one-third of the world's gas emission. This will require a significant effort, in which the use of PropTech as technological innovation in real estate to mitigate the impact of global warming efficiently. Despite various research has been conducted to address the global warming challenges, there have been relatively small amounts of materials published discussing the role of PropTech towards the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Utilizing content analysis, this paper explores the sustainability of real estate with the use of real estate technological innovation known as PropTech. Maternal and child health are part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Globally, the world is pushing to reduce maternal mortality to below 70 per 100,000 live births and to reduce infant and under-five years old children mortality rate to 12 per 1000 live births by 2030. However, maternal and child mortality rates in Indonesia remain quite high. Indonesia National Survey data show maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is still quite high at 305 per 100,000 population and the child mortality rate is 24 per 1,000 live births. In order to reduce maternal and child mortality rate, Indonesian government implements various policy interventions including by pushing local governments to create policy innovation in maternal and child health. SANPIISAN (Love and Care for Mothers and Children) is an initiative from Health Office of Kota Semarang to create an integrated system to carry out preventive measures to reduce maternal and child mortality rate in Kota Semarang. Given the success of SANPIISAN, this paper examines the mechanisms that sustain the innovation. In order to answer the question, the paper utilizes diffusion of innovation theory to analyse the diffusion and momentum processes of ideas within a specific social system. Methodology of the research is qualitative research and data are derived from interviews with main policy actors in SANPIISAN program (N=10). We argue that the success of SANPIISAN is supported by strong network among innovation adopters. The research contributes to the growing discussion in local policy innovation to support the achievement of SDGs. We conclude that SANPIISAN has proven to be one of the strategic and effective efforts that has significant leverage for the prevention of maternal and child mortality rates in Kota Semarang. The relevance of improving inter-level cooperation in the management of rural areas in modern conditions, in view of the intersectoral and interterritorial affiliation of infrastructure systems, determined the goals and objectives of this paper. The purpose of the study is to determine the guidelines for organizing inter-level cooperation in managing the infrastructure of rural areas on the basis of studying scientific sources, analyzing statistical information, identifying patterns of modern development. The authors considered trends in the development of rural infrastructure on the example of the entities of the Ural macroregion of Russia. Among the results of the study, the role of infrastructure as a material basis is noted, which forms relationships and interactions in rural areas, leading to a qualitatively new integration of participants in reproductive processes associated in a specific location. To overcome negative trends and improve the quality of cooperation in infrastructure management, it is proposed to introduce the institute of agro-industrial territorial economic systems, which allows developing the logic of management processes while respecting the interests of business, population and management. Sustainability has been a significant concern in development and construction upon the rising environmental issues around the globe. As such, efforts have been made to come up with sustainable construction via the invention of sustainable housing. The sustainable concept is extended to housing as demand for sustainability development for energy saving. However, high prices of houses have been denoted as an issue in the housing industry. As conventional development is already associated with high costs and high prices, houses with sustainable features are offered and sold at even higher prices. This worsens affordability, which is already a problem in Malaysia. This paper explores sustainable affordable housing via a combination review of issues and challenges. This investigation sets to accomplish two objectives. Firstly, it includes studying issues concerning sustainable affordable housing. The second objective covers a detailed identifying the challenges of implementing sustainable affordable housing and gaps of this area of study around the globe. This paper structurally investigates the literature from valid databases and eminent journals from 2004 to 2018 in matters related to issues and challenges sustainable affordable housing. As very limited work has been carried out in the areas of issues and challenges of implementing sustainable affordable housing, this paper fills this knowledge gap in the context of a structured review. The findings of the research are critically discussed in light of the literature. Preventing global warming is a crucial issue of today's development. All the present and future actions should be planned to follow the paradigm of sustainable development, which is defined by the sustainability and decarbonization goals. The above-mentioned approach should be applied in all the economic sectors, out of which buildings constitute one of the most important parts. Moreover, it seems common to aim for the improvement of buildings' energy efficiency, due to the fact, that those actions provide considerable economic and environmental profits. Due to the high share of final energy consumption of buildings, it is necessary to decrease that demand, resulting in reduced greenhouse gasses emissions. In this paper, the Polish residential building sector is examined to improve its sustainability. Some pathways towards buildings' decarbonization are described and evaluated by means of their energy and environmental effects. This study is based on the set of representative buildings of Poland and statistical data, following the Urban Energy Modelling paradigm. Both, single-family and multi-family buildings are analyzed, considering their deep refurbishment. Calculations are performed using the TEAC and Energy Plus software, allowing for comprehensive analyses of the Polish residential household sector. In Malaysia, sustainable development is getting momentum within organizations, businesses, and even communities. In Higher Education, we can observe that green initiatives have been taken on campus, although community awareness is still at an average level. As a result, the emphasis of this study was on UTMSPACE community's green environmental awareness, which included their study location at the UTM Kuala Lumpur campus. The introduction to this study and the concerns that arise will be the first section of this paper's structure. The literature review on green awareness, initiatives, and motivation will be covered in the second half of this study. A preliminary investigation was conducted among Diploma students in SPACE UTM Kuala Lumpur. The goal of the first inquiry is to determine the green awareness among the students. According to the poll, 132 students took part in the short online survey. We quizzed them on their thoughts of green awareness implementation, and the results of the analysis were presented in a descriptive manner. We suggest student involvement activity based on preliminary research to improve environmental awareness among the UTMSPACE community by engaging in green environment initiatives. However, because to the Covid-19 pandemic, a variety of green environmental actions can be undertaken or implemented. As a result, in the methodology section of this study, we propose a mobile application design to ensure that green awareness activities are practicable and at a constant pace, in order to ensure social distancing and activities can be done by individuals. As a result, in order to achieve this goal, we created a mobile application to raise green awareness among the campus community, which we will demonstrate at the end of this paper. The content of the mobile apps will be structured using aspects from the UI World Universities Ranking Based on Green Metric and UTM Sustainable Campus's sustainability project area. Ammonia, recognized as a promising clean energy source, plays a significant role in advancing sustainable development. This paper detailly investigates the multifaceted aspects of ammonia, encompassing its background, synthesis methods, storage, transportation, and diverse applications. A comparative analysis is presented, contrasting the conventional Haber process of ammonia synthesis with innovative methods utilizing clean energy. The green ammonia synthesis process, currently gaining prominence, is highlighted for its potential to significantly reduce carbon emissions. The efficacy of various catalysts in green ammonia synthesis is also examined, revealing the superiority of low-displacement catalysts. Furthermore, the paper explores ammonia's extensive applications in the energy sector, from its role in fuel cells, which can be supplied directly or post-catalytic decomposition, to its utility as engine fuel, either in pure form or in combination with other fuels. The study also underscores ammonia's potential as an auxiliary hydrogen carrier, enhancing the safety and efficiency of hydrogen storage and transportation. By offering insights into ammonia's synthesis processes and its multifarious applications, this research contributes to the discourse on new energy paradigms, emphasizing the benefits of transitioning from traditional energy sources to cleaner, more efficient alternatives. Entrepreneurial intention, as the preliminary idea of pursuing new ventures. Entrepreneurship is an important component to enhance the country's economic growth and sustainability as well as to meet the challenges of globalisation, such as increasing the unemployment rate among students. The objectives of this paper are to determine the relationship between personality, government support and entrepreneurship education with entrepreneurial intention among business students from selected public university in Malaysia and to measure the predictor of entrepreneurial intention. This study is quantitative in the form and questionnaires distributed to collect information from respondents based on the size of 100 samples and use convenience sampling method. The data obtained through questionnaires is analyzed and evaluated by correlation and regression testing. The results showed that all moderate linkages with entrepreneurial intentions. Government support also show the the most impact on the entrepreneurial intention. This paper provides a comprehensive framework that contributes to conceptualization and assists the Government and academic in enhancing skills and courses to increase the desire of business students to become future successful entrepreneurs. The use of recycled concrete aggregate has positive environmental and economic contributions to the sustainability of the materials. However, when recycled aggregate (RA) is used instead of natural aggregate, the mechanical and structural performance of concrete are negatively influenced. Therefore, the development of practical techniques that reduce these negative influences are very important. Due to the confinement effect, the mechanical behaviors of the RA can be improved by encasing it in a circular steel tube. This paper describes a series of comparison tests on steel tubular columns of circular sections filled with normal self-compacting concrete and recycled aggregate self-compacting concrete. Ten specimens consist of 5 recycled aggregate concrete filled double skin steel tubular (RACFDST) columns and 5 normal concrete filled double skin steel tubular (CFDST) columns divided into three groups according to the type of load were tested under (axial, uniaxial, and biaxial) compression loads. Loading eccentricity and full replacement of natural coarse aggregate with recycled coarse aggregate were the main parameters in this study. Overall, the failure mode, ultimate capacities, and general deformational behavior have been presented in this paper. The results clearly showed that the failure mode of the RACFDST columns is generally similar to their normal CFDST counterparts with a slight reduction in ultimate bearing capacity. Specimens under axial compression were subjected to local buckling failure, while the global buckling failure was the mode of all eccentrically loaded columns. As expected, due to the confinement effect of the steel tubes, the strength of the sandwich concrete was enhanced, and all tested columns exhibited ductile failure. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In several last decades demands of inhabitants of residential buildings have modified from the survival conditions to the preference of comfortable living. Consequently the much more detailed contribution of physics, both theoretical and numerical mathematics, supported by computational modelling, is needed, accompanied by the implementation of advanced building materials, structures and technologies. The quality of software can be determined through software process quality assessment and certification. It involves with numerous evaluation criteria and software development practices. More importantly, these evaluation criteria and practices are not fixed and needs further improvement from time to time due to the shifts in the environment, business needs and current trends. As a result, there is a need for a mechanism that can systematically organise those evaluation criteria and practices to ensure the sustainability of the assessment and certification process. Furthermore, based on the literature, currently there is a lack in the quality of test cases for Agile software development process. The testing process is critical for demonstrating the quality of a software product, however it is only partially addressed in the existing software process quality assessment and certification models. The Agile testing practices need to be improved in the existing software process quality assessment and certification reference standard so that it can tolerate with changes. Majority of the existing software process quality assessment and certification models have not addressed sustainable software architecture. Consequently, this research is working towards developing a sustainable software architecture for the software process quality assessment and certification. As a beginning, this paper illustrates the conceptual model which will be used as base to develop a sustainable architecture for software process quality assessment and certification. The contributions of this study straddle research perspectives of Software Process Assessment and Certification with the existence of the sustainable software architecture. The communities use freshwater collected from various natural resources for drinking and other routine purposes. The urban population is generating huge amounts of wastewater. Till 2015, the volume of municipal wastewater generated globally was of the order of 330 km3/year. To achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6, it is of pivotal importance to manage water effectively to cater to the needs of the ever-increasing population. Urban wastewater has been treated to produce potable quality water to mitigate the partial demands of the urban population. However, it asks for primary, secondary and tertiary treatments as well to remediate a host of impurities. Reverse Osmosis (RO) has been the most sought-after tertiary treatment today for removal of total dissolved solids (TDS). This paper however critically reviews the application of freeze concentration to concentrate solutions enabling separation of solutes and solvents and its potential as a tertiary treatment method for the treatment of urban wastewater and in numerous other domains. This review paper critically evaluates the freezing techniques implemented to concentrate a solution to separate solute and solution. The prior research undertaken on each technology will be presented briefly, and it will be evaluated and reviewed from the point of view of using the corresponding technique for the treatment of urban wastewater. The Northeast India (NEI) is one of the global hotspot areas for biodiversity. NEI comprises of the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura. The states are included with a huge variety of forests starting from the tropic to sub-tropic and temperate to alpine. The location has the capability to be a vacationer hub because of its picturesque panorama and the presence of many international history sites. Tourism may be a key supply of profits for this economically backward location and also can notably make a contribution to the Indian economy. But the improvement must now no longer be on the price of environmental degradation and exploitation of the herbal sources. The aim of sustainable improvement is acquiring economic development, social equity and justice, and environmental protection. According to various studies, approximately 91% of the municipal solid waste has been discarded of in sanitary landfills or open dumping without following proper scientific procedures. There are environmental and public health risks associated with this practice. MSW is the most serious ecological challenge of the 21st century. Before deciding on a strategy for MSW management, a thorough investigation is required. It's important to conduct an environmental impact assessment (EIA) before making any major decisions or making any commitments to the project's biophysical, social, and other relevant impacts. Solid waste management can be made to have less of an impact on the environment by using this new and successful policy innovation. The current paper focuses on Environmental Impact Assessment of MSW, which examines the environmental and human health effects of various MSW generation, composition, characteristics, and disposal options, could be a step toward achieving sustainable development. In addition, the health risk scenario and legal administrative framework are examined. The need for renewable energy is highly increasing worldwide to fulfil energy demand as well as reduce the impact of global warming. Indonesia as the most extensive archipelago face real challenge to power its remote areas with green electricity. This paper assesses economically the idea of hybrid power plant of solar and/or biomass to electrify Indonesian remote areas with green electricity. Furthermore, the carbon credit as an additional income of this project is estimated using CDM methodology. The project is proposed in Sakti, Batukandik, and Batumadeg villages in Nusa Penida Island, Bali; the ER are 7460.57, 2587.10, and 9044.84 tCO2e/year, accordingly. The IRR is analyzed under two scenarios: the initial electricity cost of USD 0.15/kWh and the reduced cost of USD 0.10/kWh including carbon credits and biochar sales. The sensitivity analysis is conducted to observe the effect of most tentative variables towards the IRR. Furthermore, determining the feasibility of this project by analyzing the ERR is assessed to be important, whether it is profitable for the community or not. For the ERR analysis, there are two results calculations. The ERR value with the application of carbon credits shows 32.66%. In comparison, the ERR value without the application of carbon credits shows 28.19%. These values are obtained from several parameter calculations in the ERR analysis in this study. It consists of a consumer surplus, which is computed from the benefits obtained by PLN. Then, the producer surplus and job increases are computed from the benefits obtained by the community if this project is executed. The implementation of green building is believed to be a key factor in achieving sustainable development in the building sector. The Green Building Council Indonesia is responsible for the development and deployment of green buildings in Indonesia, and has released version 1.2 of the Greenship rating tools for evaluating new green buildings. The use of renewable energy sources in green buildings is highly encouraged, with one point awarded for every 0.5% of energy usage covered by renewable energy, up to a maximum of five points. The installation of rooftop PV systems is a popular choice for renewable energy in many governmental green-rated buildings, but it is important to determine the ideal capacity to prevent overpriced installation costs. This paper proposes a method where the focus is on gaining maximum points in renewable energy and minimizing investment costs, rather than maximizing installed capacity. This approach can reduce capacity by up to 68%. Another important consideration is choosing the optimum grid connectivity type, and the paper discusses the options of on-grid or zero export schemes. Nowadays, it is crucial to have sustainability; water sustainability is one of the sustainable development goals. However, many threats face water sustainability. One of the challenges towards reaching water sustainability is represented in the high levels of non-revenue water (NRW) that faces many countries. As a step towards reducing NRW and reaching water sustainability, this paper aims to identify the cost-effective water distribution network (WDN) rehabilitation approaches. First, WDN rehabilitation approaches were identified from a systematic review. Then, the identified WDN rehabilitation approaches were used in the development of the questionnaire survey. 176 valid responses were collected, the collected data was analyzed using mean score ranking, normalization, and cost-benefit analysis. The results of the data analysis showed that the cost-effective approaches are; Pipe bursting, Compact pipe, Pipe ramming, Trenchless, Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), Zoning network, and Slip lining. The findings can be a valuable reference for the water industry in the WDN rehabilitation process. Further analysis and development are required to get rid of each approach's limitations. The agricultural practice in upland landscape area throughout Indonesia provide examples of complex socio-ecological systems experiencing rapid socio-economic and environmental transformations in response to sustainable development challenges. There is a close relationship between agriculture productivity, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable landscape management. This paper examines the biodiversity and conservation of food plants for food security toward sustainable development in the uplands of Indonesia. A desk study with descriptive qualitative was implemented in this paper. The data were collected from secondary sources and thus analyzed through understanding and synthesizing the literature. We review the studies between 2007-2022, agriculture commodities were the dominant food plants found in the farmland and home garden in Sumatra, Java, Sumbawa, and Papua, for subsistence and commercial purpose, especially for horticulture commodities. The results showed that there is a challenge today in how to push agricultural systems so as to promote an agroecosystem, and it is clear that sustainable agriculture both promotes and is enhanced by food plant biodiversity. In order to reduce environmental trade-offs and social and institutional tensions, economic expansion and conservation agendas in the upland should be matched. It is expected that protecting food plants in upland areas will promote sustainable growth and ensure community food security. Developments in studying Natural Gas Hydrates (NGH) have significantly affected the Oil and Gas industries. Apart from being a prominent unconventional energy source, gas hydrates serve a major role in energy storage, CO2 sequestration, flow assurance, water desalination, etc. These process demands promotion/inhibition of hydrates which becomes feasible by the application of suitable additives. This technique demands greater generation of hydrates by the application of desired promotor like tetra-n-butyl ammonium bromide (TBAB), tetrahydrofuran (THF) etc. for the greater storage of anthropogenic CO2 at subsurface. For the mitigation of climate change and development of sustainable energy, extensive research suggested the implementation of hydrate-based CO2 sequestration (HBCS) technique. The presence of hydrate plugs in oil and gas pipeline create challenges of flow assurance in oil and gas industry. Application of inhibitors alters the equilibrium pressure-temperature conditions which restrict the hydrate plugs formation in transport pipes and allow the flow ability of hydrocarbon. This paper provides brief review of various additives and their roles in oil and gas industries which provides the better understanding of hydrate phase equilibrium and kinetic conditions. Proper municipal solid waste management is relevant in the context of sustainable development of modern cities. It is especially essential for developing countries. The organic fraction of municipal solid waste is significant and biodegradable. Extraction of organic matter and its composting is classified as the most preferable approaches of the strategy of sustainable management of municipal solid waste. Composting technology is characterized by its economic efficiency compared to other alternatives and is most commonly used worldwide. In Ukraine, there is no practice of municipal solid waste composting. For the first time, the pilot project on the practice of composting the organic component of municipal solid waste was introduced in Ukraine in the Lviv city. The concepts of Sustainability and Sustainable Development are increasingly becoming part of the common discourse in society. The need for mobility of people and goods, among other factors, is an inherent part of economic growth and development of society. There exists the need to balance the economic requirements of mobility, with the environmental demands of sustainability. This review paper examines the existing literature on sustainability, in the context of its three pillars, across different journals and industry reports. Further, this study performed a bibliometric analysis on the concept of sustainable mobility and the emerging role of EVs. Methodology. Systematic literature review was conducted by sourcing research articles from peer-reviewed journals and industry reports. NVIVO software was used to identify, analyze and shortlist relevant articles. The selected articles were classified under two different themes for further review. Findings. The findings of this review highlight the difference in interpretations of sustainability and sustainable mobility among existing theoretical and empirical studies, and the need to have common approaches, theories and measurements. The adoption of sustainable behavior and sustainable mobility is a result of personal behavior, moderated by policy influences. Balancing the needs of economic growth with environmental and social sustainability creates tensions between these pillars. Innovation and emerging technological initiatives like Circular Economy for recycling and repurposing EVs, will help mitigate the challenges faced in sustainable mobility initiatives. Implications. Conscious sustainable behavior is the need of the hour, and the desired way forward for society. Peer pressure to adopt sustainable mobility practices, along with user convenience will result in sustainable intention and behavior. Building damages is increasingly recognised as a serious, economic and sustainability concern. A key aspect of building damage mitigation is understanding them. Severe and complex cases of building damages have been an object of research within SINTEF for decades. Insurance companies and building appraisers are performing a continuously growing amount of work on more common damages. Various lists of important checkpoints on buildings are flooding the internet, however, far too little attention has been paid to developing a comprehensive system for defining building damage risk spots. Well defined risk spots could be an effective tool for mitigating building damages. The aim of this research has therefore been to try and establish a framework for systematically generating, grouping, and labelling risk spots. This paper has been divided into three parts. The first part deals with defining risk spots in buildings, second part describes the methodology for identifying and classifying spots, last part comprise a case study where the methodology has been applied to a limited part of a building. In this paper, we highlight the problems related to UN SDG number 7 (providing affordable, reliable and sustainable energy) by analyzing the current infrastructure that provides uninterrupted reliable energy supply to technologically isolated and hard-to-reach territories in the Russian Federation. We explain the different components of Hybrid Energy Complexes that include various elements of renewable energy sources, we analyze the factors influencing the efficiency of these complexes and we optimize the composition of these complexes by using a mathematical simulation program that predicts various output indicators. By comparing our estimates with actual data in Ust-Kamchatsk, we are able to highlight the accuracy of our program as well as make conclusions on how its future implementation may have a positive effect on both ecological and economic factors. The need for land to be built especially in big city has become the main factor to consider "underground" as a problem solving of urban design. As an example of this underground space utilization, underground building for Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) in some cities can be a sample to explore the journey of underground space to become a public area. This paper analyses disaster management-design by the case of some TOD in some countries to get summarize of how disaster prevention and evacuation can be transferred into the design of the underground building. The disaster management aim is to encourage and preserve a safe environment, especially as a public area. Bottom slag is a waste product generated from thermal power plants after burning lignitein the boilers due to impurities / mineral matter present in lignite, it is being dumped at Mine –II back-filled area. The physical appearance is black to brown coloured – coarse to fine sand sized particles. Chemically, it contains large amount of silica, alumina, iron oxide and sulphates. Because of the sulphates, sulphuric acid is generated and the material becomes highly acidic. In Neyveli thermalpower station on an average 250 – 300 tonnes of bottom slag is being produced everyday and the same is transported to mines backfilled areas for dumping. Eco – friendly way of disposal or utilization of bottom slag has been a challenging task to thermal power stations. The slag dumps are highly acidic contains more soluble salts, similar to the situation in ash pond. Hence, voluntary vegetation is not possible. Considering the physico – chemical nature of the bottom slag, several attempts were made in the past to utilize them effectively. It becomes essential to develop a suitable technology as being done for minespoils, ash ponds to develop green cover on slag dumps. In line with the Malaysian government's efforts to increase renewable energy in energy generation to 30 percent by the year 2030, ambitious efforts are being made to promote the implementation of utility-scale solar PV plants with ample policy backing. The goal of the current study is to use PVsyst software to evaluate the economic and environmental assessment of On Ground PV (OPV) system. This paper serves as a pioneering study on the design, simulation, economic evaluation, and environmental assessment of a 300-kW grid-connected Photovoltaic (PV) system installed on the ground at Xiamen University Malaysia. The effectiveness of the proposed design is evaluated from 1st January 2022 to 31st December 2022 using the PVsyst software version 7.2, which works on accurate plant specifications. The simulation is performed using PVsyst 7.2 software to design the whole system properly. Four main systems were considered for this stare i) Assessment of geographical location and meteorological data, ii) Development of orientation analytics and optimal PV layout, iii) development of PV model which includes detailed losses calculation and shading analytics, iv) Development of technical performance, economic evaluation, and environmental assessment. The proposed PV design is expected to provide 100 % of the A5 building's lightning electricity energy consumption while reducing CO2 emissions by 3648.904 tonnes throughout the lifespan of the system's deployment. Ecological security is not only an important aspect of national security, but also a red line to ensure the sustainability of towns' social economy. This paper takes the ecologically fragile towns of Xi'an in western China as the research object, and uses the PSR model to establish a town ecological security evaluation index system consisting of 21 indicators. Based on multi-source data, the ecological security status of 125 towns in the study area was evaluated. The results indicate that the average ecological security index of towns in 2020 was 0.568, which is generally in a critical ecological security state. Insufficient water resources, high population density, low waste disposal rate, and low vegetation coverage are the main factors threatening the ecological security of local towns. Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles (NPs) are synthesized using a wide variety of biological, chemical and physical methods. Each method offers its own advantages, disadvantages and different degree of control on the morphology of produced NPs. Depending on the type of precursor, method of synthesis and the underlying process parameters, NPs are produced with different morphological features and properties. The conventional physical and chemical methods employ precursors which are often expensive and toxic by nature but biological methods use plant-based precursors which are natural, nontoxic and easily available. Therefore, biosynthesis has emerged as one of the most preferred routes of producing ZnO NPs. Additionally, biological methods are environment friendly, simple, cost-effective and energy efficient which may play a remarkable role in attaining the sustainable development goals for the society. Biosynthesis encompasses two steps: the first step involves collection, cleaning, drying, pulverization and dissolution of plant components to obtain its extract and the second step implicates growth of ZnO NPs from the reduced plant extract precipitate. The ZnO NPs are reported to possess good antibacterial, anticancer, antimicrobial, antioxidant and photocatalytic properties. On account of these properties ZnO NPs have found widespread agricultural, biological and medical applications. Delhi is one of the examples among the cities in India which is polluting the air by transportation which is about 20 percent. Towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the nation has to take a different trajectory from concentrating on the technical aspect of reducing the hazardous emissions to refining the regulatory awareness. The research study is based on the statistical inputs provided by the government agencies and the judicial verdicts seeking a pollution free atmosphere. Green building is the spine of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is supported by their rating tools that cover energy efficiency as a part of the indicator. The paper authored to identify design efficiency of green buildings in terms of energy performance. Therefore, the value of Building Energy Index for each building and level of association between Building Energy Index and tier points of green rating for buildings will be identified using correlation value. The first objective is to calculate the Building Energy Index of the commercial green building using the standard formula of MS1525:2019. Secondly is to calculate the correlation between the Building Energy Index and total tier of green rating certification points. All buildings consist of office, retail, industrial and institution buildings were analysed are under the average standard of MS1525:2019. Tier of green rating certification points divided to Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze rankings. In contradiction with the total tier points of green rating, it is found that the higher the tier points, the better the Building Energy Index of a green building as the correlation results between Building Energy Index and tier point of green rating indicates the negative correlation relationship for the case study covering different types of building at 0.57. The world currently relies heavily on non-renewable energy, which is unable to sustain the needs of 7 billion people in the next 50 years. This paper discusses the use of an alternative fuel, Dimethyl ether (DME), which is a sustainable option. The proposed project can be used as a case study for the future development sustainable energy sector in Malaysia. The economic study aspect as well as the technological aspect of this future development is discussed and is the main focus of this project. A Hysys model is built to replicate the proposed system. The project caters to the front tier of sustainable wind energy and the empty fruit bunch (EFB), which is one of the main products in powering the DME plant. Malaysia is rich in both products, thus, they will help to boost the local economy even further. The proposed plant indicated via the intensive economic study, proves that it will be able to generate a steady income of almost 5% yearly within the next 20 years. This study discusses the additional concept of Green Skills, with the aim of forming more competent workers in an industry that currently demands green jobs. So, it is necessary to have stages of competency formation in developing students' cognitive abilities to become green employees who are environmentally friendly and care about the environment. Until now, only a few studies have guided and revealed the needs of the community in meeting the demands of green skills, especially in Vocational High Schools. This paper uses a literature review-based methodology to identify Green Skills and formulate cycle stages that shape student competencies. It was found that from the results of a literature study on green skills competencies to realize in school, it is necessary to have a special application model in vocational schools into learning, so that a concept known as 6R is found competence to reuse, recycle, reduce, repair, reassemble, and resaving energy. To make realistic creative TVET innovations according to the needs of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 based on green skills materials through virtual technology based on virtual reality. Construction industry as one of the sectors that causes climate change must start paying attention to environmental impacts. Through the provision of numerous ecosystem services, Green infrastructure (GI) is one of the essential strategies for achieving sustainable development since it can effectively coordinate social, economic, and environmental growth. Thus, GI has been highlighted as a promising strategy to aid cities in adapting to climate change. 197 papers published between 2016 and 2021 were organized and classified using the 7th version of Publish or Perish software as part of this study's literature review methodology. Results show that there has been a significant growth in research on green infrastructure in recent years, with Sustainability Journal dominating the field. The initial top three cited journals that cover GI research are China Earth Sciences, Construction & Building Materials, and Cities. Another set of findings reveals that issues with water, materials, heat, air pollution, and policies-regulation & cost have been particularly focused on. Future research is needed and quite promising, such as: green materials, solutions to water & flood problems, urban heat, and GI regulation are topics that need further research, especially in Indonesia. This paper describes the development of a blended-based sustainable training model. The blended learning model is used to overcome participants' limited time constraints in ongoing training to increase the competency of tourism village community empowerment facilitators. The research method used is development research. The research subjects were community empowerment facilitators in tourist villages, DKI Jakarta, and West Java. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and literature review. Data analysis in this research was carried out using qualitative descriptions. The study results show that conceptually implementing a blended learning-based continuous training model increases facilitators' competence in empowering the Tourism Village community through the stages of input, process, and output analysis. In the input component, the training manager maps the competency of the facilitator's objective conditions; the training process component uses an andragogy approach where participants have self-concept practical experience and can overcome the problems they face; and the output component produces tourism village facilitators who master three competency elements, namely basic, core and special. Abandoned construction projects are one of the most common problems in the Malaysian construction industry that will affect society, the environment, and the economy. Several causes and effects for the abandoned construction project have been discussed from previous research in general. However, to develop guidelines in reviving abandoned construction projects, all the information related to planning must be considered. This study identifies the difficulties and countermeasures in reviving abandoned construction projects based on rescue contractors' perspectives. A semi-structured interview approach has been used to get information from industrial practitioners, including managers, engineers, safety & health officer, and site supervisor. There are six difficulties in reviving abandoned construction projects. The issues are 1) material; 2) structure; 3) architecture; 4) safety; 5) internal, and 6) mechanical issues. All difficulties can be categorized into internal projects and external projects. This paper contributes to future improvement to related parties in reviving abandoned construction projects.
