This study aims to present the initial results of the learning trajectory of the pattern of numbers in the context of tajung cloth by using numeracy ability test questions at the evaluation stage. This research design consists of three stages: Preparation for an experiment, Implementation, Retrospective Analysis. The learning trajectory is designed in the context of the tajung Palembang fabric. Data was collected through documentation, interviews, and class observations. The findings show that the context of the tajung cloth helps students easily understand the concept of number patterns and how students find regular patterns in the tajung cloth motif. The learning trajectory consists of two activities. The first aims to introduce the concept of number patterns and look for regularity of repeating patterns. The second aims to help students generalize the concept of number patterns to solve a problem. Finally, the research findings contribute to the further development of the learning trajectory on number patterns and the evaluation questions used in the form of students' numeracy ability test questions. Interventional study design has been adopted widely in design process and research, bringing new insights into design thinking, and innovating new ways of solving design problems through pragmatic and participative approach. However, there is still a lack of studies conducted in intervening design process at earliest stage with systematic approach due to contextual complexity and levels of competencies among designers. In this paper, we develop criteria preference tool for designing project briefs, as a result of analysing 21 designer's preferences in the specific designated task using pre- and post-study. The criteria preference tool provides us vocabularies that help to explain the challenges and priorities, what are influences the formulation of the brief's design direction and what informs the selection and development of the methods. Nowadays, global problems such as environmental problems occur massively. Global problems cannot be solved quickly; a planned step is needed to solve them. One of the steps is through education. Education must be able to facilitate students to care about environmental problems. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is one way to solve this problem. We need to integrate ESD in learning, including in mathematics learning. The purpose of this study is to develop a student's worksheet integrated ESD in mathematics learning. The student's worksheet can be used widely if it has valid, practical and in effective criteria. The method used in this research is a Research and Development (R&D) which is carried out with a research design according to Plomp. Based on the results of the study, the validity score of the student's worksheet is 76.25% with valid category. The practicality score is 75,4% with practical category. The effectivity score is 75% with effective category. The scores mean that the student's worksheet is valid, practical, and in effective criteria. The paper examines the application of systematic and risk-based approaches to problem solving in the agro-industrial complex, which generally prompted research in the field of various model-based methodologies. Of particular interest to this study is the Quality by Design initiative in the agro-industrial complex. Motivated by their need, this paper reports some of the contributions to analysing the existence and availability of the experimental plan. The analysis of the feasibility and adaptation of the nested sampling algorithm for the probabilistic characteristics of the design space is considered. There is described an initial adaptation of the nested sampling algorithm, common for large Bayesian calculations, for the probabilistic characterization of spatial design, which is a key work for practitioners in the agro-industrial complex. The choice-based approach has been found to be effective with the optimization approach, allowing practitioners to take advantage of the choice-based approach with other methods. A step-by-step technology is given for complex and one-time implementations of the original nested sample for spatial design, which further reduces the computational load, thereby allowing solutions of more complex problems. Design-centring methodology is shown as an alternative coding method for methodological choice, providing the practitioner with a convenient format for communicating with process operators. A particular attention is paid to several pronounced problems that arise in the special design of experiments when there are various levels of model uncertainty, which are often encountered in the early stages of model development. This article discusses promising directions for the organization of project-research activities at school when solving problems with practical content and analyzes the possibilities of origametry, which gives great potential for the formation of research skills and abilities of students. Origametry as one of the practical areas of geometry holds unexpected prospects for shaping research competencies of students. It offers the opportunity to use simple improvised media, such as a sheet of paper, to prove a rather large variety of geometric statements. In the course of the experiment the importance of this approach in the study of geometry was established, which fosters a positive personal attitude towards the discipline in question. The article discusses sample mini-projects, which include a selection of methods for solving problems in constructive geometry and make it possible to implement project-research activities of pupils in a practical way at school. It explores an experimental design that implemented teaching and learning based on visual thinking to solve math problems. There are three treatments in solving the problems: picturing, expressing the algebraic relationship, and constructing ide from the visual representation. There is no difference in students' performance in visualizing, but significantly different after the last two actions. That is 1) Visual thinking used for reasoning in constructing algebraic expression; 2) The visual and algebraic thinking applied alternately; 3) The two kinds of thinking are not hierarchical, but inadequate relation; 4) Solving the problem always start from visual thinking, and then thinking algebraically; 5) Visual construction is a mental process, as an abstraction of systematic reflective visualization. The recommendations are 1) In teaching and learning, mathematics should be by using visual representation; 2) The mathematics content knowledge by visualizing is an integrated learning activity. This study aimed to explore students' problem-solving abilities of heat and temperature through the 5E learning cycle with formative e-assessment. The research used mixed-method with embedded experimental design. The data was obtained through pretest and posttest problem-solving abilities with open-ended questions. The results showed that students' problem-solving abilities had increased with an average Normalized-gain value of 0.40 (lower medium category) and effect size value of 4.55 (strong category). The student's problem-solving process on useful description indicators, physics approach, specific application of physics, mathematical procedures, and logical progression undergo positive changes even though the increase is still in the low category. Randomized complete block designs (RCBD) introduced by [1] are probably the most widely used experimental designs. Despite many advantages they suffer from one serious drawback. It is not possible to test interaction effects in ANOVA as there is only one observation for each combination of a block and factor level. Although there are some attempts to overcome this problem none of these methods are used in practice, especially as most of the underlying models are nonlinear. A review on such tests is given by [2] and [3]. Here a new method is introduced which permits a test of interactions in block designs. The model for RCBDs is linear and identical to that of a two factorial design. The method as such is not restricted to simple block designs, but can also be applied to other designs like Split-Plot-design, Strip-Plot-design, . . . and probably to incomplete block designs. Experimental design utilizing blocks was first presented by Ronald A. Fisher in the beginning of the 20th century with applications in agriculture. It became one of the areas of mass development for research in various fields, from agriculture to medicine, playing a central role not only on the research process but also on the new technological advances. As a branch of block designs, research on Balanced Incomplete Block Designs (BIBD) arose several interesting and defying problems within combinatory mathematics. BIBD designs can be constructed and analysed more easily with the aid of computer tools, such as the The R Project for Statistical Computing, which, as will be shown, contains several different tools just for this purpose. Hadamard matrices are present in our daily life, they give rise to a class of block designs named Hadamard configurations. It is easy and current to find their different applications based on new technologies and codes of figures such as Quick Response Codes (QR Codes). These are bi-dimensional bar codes that can be easily read by common devices which have image capture function, such as mobile phones. The use of such codes is very popular nowadays in simple things like to send a text message, a picture or for a batch of information regarding a product or whatever one desires. Error correction on these QR Codes make use of Hadamard matrices. The importance of using Qr Codes in cryptocurrencies and their links between the various methodologies using R software will be explored, as well as connections with Hadamard Matrices and BIBD.
