The coating process on food packaging paper is carried out to improve the food safety aspect from dangerous substance migration from food packaging into food. It can facilitate to increase its function and wide the potency of utilization. The coating materials commonly used are plastic and wax coatings. Chitosan as a natural polymer that has the binding properties both water and oil. Chitosan has polar and non-polar groups thus it is potential to be developed as a coating material for food packaging paper. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical-mechanical and antimicrobial properties of food packaging paper from oil palm empty fruit bunches pulp coated with chitosan. The parameters used were chitosan and pulp weight. The oil palm empty fruit bunch pulp was fibrillated with high speed blender then mixed with chitosan solution. The mixed solution was poured in the mold and dried in an oven at 60 °C for 24 hours. The results showed that increasing of chitosan content was coated paper increased physical and mechanical properties values. The more pulp content the higher the physical properties value, however the mechanical properties value tend to decrease. The antimicrobial activity of chitosan coated paper was evaluated by measuring the diameter of the inhibition zones. The results revealed that all tested samples showed growth inhibition zone againts to Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus after 24 h incubation compared to commercial food packaging paper.

In response to published reports about the decline in funding for space nuclear power, the Board of Directors of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) approved a position paper in March 1995 that recommends (1) development and support of an integrated space nuclear power program by DOE, NASA and DoD; (2) Congressional support for the program; (3) advocacy of the program by government and industry leaders; and (4) continuation of cooperation between the U.S. and other countries to advance nuclear power source technology and to promote safety. This position paper has been distributed to various people having oversight of the U.S. space nuclear power program.

Prior work has established the existence of a color-performance relationship in achievement contexts and has demonstrated its presence in some undergraduate course examinations. This study examines the manifestation of such a relationship in an introductory, 430-student, calculus-based electricity and magnetism course during which the paper color used in examinations was varied. In this report, we analyze three separate exams and differentiate between students’ multiple choice, written response, conceptual, and computational performances. Also considered are factors such as the time students require to complete exams and their confidence levels prior to and immediately following assessment. Performance in all categories appears to be independent of paper color.

In this paper we present an application of two Computational Intelligence Algorithms, namely Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) Algorithm and Differential Evolution (DE) for finding and optimal solution to two optimization problems that occur in a paper industry. The first problem deals with the economic optimization of a hypothetical but realistic Kraft pulping process and in the second problem we have considered the optimization of Boiler load allocation problem. Both the problems form an integral part of paper making process. The simulation results show the efficiency and time effectiveness of DE and PSO.

The present study was carried out to beneficiate coal tailings sample using froth flotation technique. The aim of the investigation was to remove the carbonaceous material present and to reduce the environmental pollution generated through large volume of tailings from a coal preparation plant. The characterization studies show that the sample contains D80 passing size as 276 µ and D50 as 182 µ. The proximate analysis indicated that the coal sample contains 45.3% ash and 34.5% fixed carbon. Froth flotation experiments were carried out at varying parameters of collector dosages (0.60, 0.67 & 0.71 kgpt), frother dosages (0.33, 0.44& 0.51 kgpt) and pulp density (8%, 10% & 12% w/w). The experimental results indicated that the optimum amount of clean coal may be recovered from tailings with an ash content of 18.46% in the clean coal with an appreciable yield of 64.13%. The optimum results were obtained at frother dosage of 0.44 kgpt and collector dosage of 0.60 kgpt with pulp density of 10% (w/w).

The adverse environmental degradation created by various plastics produced from petroleum products is a major concern for the world nations. The developed and developing nations have adopted various strategies on the production and usage of highly hazardous conventional plastics. Various research works have been undertaken to formulate a sustainable alternative for the conventional plastics. In this regard, an effort was made to synthesis a biodegradable polymer for large scale commercial usage in packaging applications. Biodegradable polymers can be produced from various resources. The study involves the production of bio-plastic from Banana peel and Prosopis juliflora. Cellulose, a major component required for biopolymer synthesis was extracted from Prosopis juliflora which then combined and processed with dried banana peel. Additives and preservatives that contributes to the polymer characteristics were added in suitable proportions and processed under defined conditions. The mixture was then dried at a temperature of 130 ℃ to yield the final product. The biopolymers thus produced were tested for its water absorption capacity, thermal resistance, tensile strength, biodegradability and microbial attacks. It was observed that water absorption capacity of the biopolymer was lower for lesser starch and higher cellulose concentrations. The tensile strength was found to be 0.67 N/mm2 which was due to the addition of zinc oxide. No microbial attack was observed during storage and it was also found that the biopolymer was able to withstand high temperature up to 130 °C during its usage.

Coal consumption in the Indonesian metallurgical industry in 2015 has reached up to 3.5 million tons. One ton of pig iron required 0.5-0.6 tons of coke, 1.4 tons of iron ore, and 0.25 tons of limestone. Coke added by the charcoal is called bio- coke. Charcoal, as the raw material of coke from the carbonization process of Indonesian redwood residues, can reduce the consumption of coking coal. Biomass has been applied as an alternative renewable fuel to the industrial sector to reduce CO2 emissions. The use of biomass reduces the dependence on traditional fossil fuels whose resources are reduced every day. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best charcoal sizes from redwood and improve the quality of bio-coke through the dry cooling process. The final method of bio-coke can be done coke dry quenching to prevent the occurrence of cracks in the coke, increase coke strength, and less chemical activity during cooling. Redwood charcoal with particle size (10, 25, 50, and 80) mesh is blending with coking coal. The mixing, composition of coal with redwood charcoal is 90:10. Blended briquettes with the addition of molasses and wood tar are processed by re-carbonization at 1100 °C for 4 hours. Bio-coke charcoal 50 mesh has bulk density of 1071.44 kg/m3. The strength of bio-coke increases as bulk density increases. The maximum size of the redwood charcoal particles of the study on 50 mesh generated a compressive strength of 4.87 MPa.

Increasing the demand of fossil fuel energy in up-coming days life is become an important problem everywhere, so alternative fuel resources (bio-oil) for reducing the energy demand is produced and compared with conventional fossil fuel. By pyrolysis method, the biomass (solid waste) was converted into pyrolysis oil, which is used as an alternative fuel in the diesel engine without any engine modification. Sweet lime peel and corn pyrolysis oil are blend at 10% with diesel. The results of the tests showed that the brake thermal efficiency of the blends of corn oil and sweet lime peel oil with diesel was greater than diesel and the amount of hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and Nitrogen oxide emissions from corn pyrolysis and sweet lime peel oil was lesser than diesel operation. It was observed that the pyrolysis oil shows better performance and emission characteristics than diesel.

Metal magnetic memory test (MMMT), which is an effective way in evaluating early damages of ferrimagnets, can determine the existence of material stresses concentration and premature defects. As one of offshore oil exploration and development equipment, jack-up platform always generate stress concentration during its life-cycle due to complicated loading condition and the hash marine environment, which will decline the bearing capacity and cause serious consequences. The paper conducts in situ experiments of defects detection on some key structural components of jack-up platform using MMMT. The signals acquired by MMM-System are processed for feature extraction to evaluate the severity of structure stress concentration. The results show that the method presented in this paper based on MMMT can provide an effective and convenient way of defect detection and structural health monitoring for Jack-up Platform.

The utilization of thermophilic microbe has attracted many parties, particularly in producing an alternative fuel like ethanol. Bioethanol is one of the alternative energy sources substituting for earth oil in the future. The advantage of using bioethanol is that it can reduce pollution levels and global warming because the result of bioethanol burning doesn’t bring in a net addition of CO2 into environment. Gold amalgamation process was widely used to treat gold ore. This process produces the tailing or amalgamation solid waste, which still contains gold at 8-9 ppm. Froth flotation is one of the promising methods to beneficiate gold from this tailing. However, this process requires optimal conditions which depends on the type of raw material. In this study, Taguchi method was used to optimize the optimum conditions of the froth flotation process. The development of technology causes most of textile industries in Indonesia prefer to use synthetic dyes in the fabric dyeing process. In this short paper, we present a general method to embed flexible structures into rigid multibody systems. The flexible structure is seen as a force element contained in the multibody system formalism. This allows to use well established integrators for the multibody dynamics simulation, while suitable integrators are used for the co-simulation of the flexible part. To find the coupling forces an algebraic constraint is used and the necessary Lagrange multiplier is computed efficiently by solving a reduced monolithic index-1-system. This keeps the method very general for different flexible structures, interfaces and coupling joints.In order to be applicable in interactive multibody dynamics simulation, efficient models of flexible structures with cheap evaluations should be used. Biomass seems to have a great potential as a source of renewable energy compared with other sources. The use of biomass as a source of energy could help to reduce the wastes and also to minimize the dependency on non-renewable energy, hence minimize environmental degradation. Among other types of biomass, oil palm wastes are the major contribution for energy production in Malaysia since Malaysia is one of the primary palm oil producers in the world. Currently, Malaysia’s plantation area covers around 5 million hectares. In the oil palm mill, only 10% palm oil is produced and the other 90% is in the form of wastes such as empty fruit bunches (EFB), oil palm shells (OPS), oil palm fibre (OPFb) and palm oil mill effluent (POME). If these wastes are being used as a source of renewable energy, it is believed that it will help to increase the country’s economy. Recently, the most potential and efficient thermal energy conversion technology is pyrolysis process. The objective of this paper is to review the current research on pyrolysis of oil palm wastes in Malaysia. The scope of this paper is to discuss on the types of pyrolysis process and its production. At present, most of the research conducted in this country is on EFB and OPS by fast, slow and microwave-assisted pyrolysis processes for fuel applications.

Aquaculture activity on coastal area produces organic and inorganic waste that cause a high concentration of dissolved nutrient in waters. Therefore, the organic and inorganic waste should be reduced to prevent a negative impact to coastal water. One way to reduce the aquaculture waste loading to coastal water is to use it as a fertilizer on microalgae cultivation. The objective of this study was to investigate the change of dissolved nitrogen concentration in aquaculture waste during 14 days treatment in aerated and unaerated conditions. Two liters of wastewater was collected every 2 days from the reactor for culture media of microalgae Nannochloropsis oculata in 2 liters Erlenmeyer flask. The concentration of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and phosphate were determined spectrophotometrically as well as chlorophyll-a content when waste were treated in aerated and unaerated reactor. Water temperature, dissolved oxygen, hydrogen ion and salinity were monitored throughout the treatment. Concentration of ammonia, nitrate and nitrite in aeration treatment were changed faster in aerated condition compared to unaerated condition. The phosphate concentration in both aerated and unaerated had a same pattern and these could reach the highest concentration to 0,9 mg L−1. Six days cultivation of N. oculata showed that N. oculata was able to assimilate nutrient from wastewater to construct its cell structure with the highest density of 19,75 × 106 cell mL−1 and its process caused extremely low nutrient concentration. This result showed that nutrient from aquaculture waste can be almost totally assimilated by N. oculata and create an extremely low concentration of nutrient from wastewater.

CPO prices are unstable, therefore affecting the supply of feedstock to produce biodiesel [2]. To overcome the shortage of feedstock, it is necessary to use multiple feedstock, in this case is CPO and Jatropha [1]. This objective of this work to optimizate biodiesel production using multifeedstock (CPO and Jatropha) with assistance of ultrasound. The optimization was to find the highest yield and the least production time. Experiments was carried out using an ultrasonic bath at a frequency of 40 kHz. The ratio of CPO and Jatropha was 1: 1, 3: 1, 4: 1 while the ratio of methanol and oil was 5: 1, 6: 1, 7: 1 and the reaction time was 50, 60, and 70 minutes. KOH was used as a catalyst. The experiment data was optimized using a Response Surface Methodology [3,4]. The optimum point was at a frequency of 40 kHz obtained at a 2.8: 1 mixture of CPO - Jatropha, 6.4: 1 molar ratio of methanol-oil and 61.5 minutes of reaction time. The progress and development of information technology has opened up one form of nuclear crime, namely computer crime. The Stuxnet incident that occurred in 2010 is one example of cyber incidents related to nuclear security. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as an international regulatory body has paid attention to computer security as outlined in one of the important elements in NSS 20 - Objective and Essentials Elements of a State’s Nuclear Security Regime. The security aspect itself is one of the aspects emphasized in Act Number 10 of 1997 concerning Nuclear Energy. Government Regulation Number 54 of 2012 concerning Nuclear Installation Safety and Security outlines a more detailed discussion of nuclear installation security, which is a more specific discussion on safety in the aspect of physical protection regulated in Regulation of the Head of the Nuclear Power Supervisory Agency Number 1 of 2009 concerning Installation Physical Protection Systems and Nuclear Materials. However, all of these regulations still do not explicitly mention computer security. This paper was prepared to provide recommendations that can be used in the preparation of regulations and guidelines related to computer security in nuclear installations. This paper was prepared using the main reference NSS 17 - Computer Security at Nuclear Facilities which was perfected by the review of Regulatory Guide 5.71 - Cyber Security Programs for Nuclear Facility, CSA N290.7-14 - Cyber Security for Nuclear Power Plants and Small Reactor Facilities, and REGDOC-2.5.2. - Design of Reactor Facilities: Nuclear Power Plants. From the results of the study, it was concluded that several things that need to be considered as required regarding computer security are the establishment of a computer security team, the preparation of a computer security plan, a graded approach to computer security, and risk assessment.

This paper focuses on the literature review of construction industry towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0). It is not easy for construction industry to adapt to the new technology which mostly based on internet of things (IOT), internet of service, big data and etc. However, the recent devastating Covid 19 outbreak more or less has opened the eyes of the construction industry towards IR 4.0 due to the movement control order (MCO). The impact of Covid 19 forces all the industries including construction industry to move toward IR 4.0. Some of the elements to support the construction industry to move toward IR 4.0 are discussed in this paper including Building Information Modeling (BIM), the use of drone or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAE) to monitor construction site, virtual meeting among stakeholders and the use of prefabrication works such as Industrial Building System (IBS). Systematic and efficient construction works can be achieved by implementing the elements of IR 4.0 in construction industry.

The paper focuses on overview of recent developments of the technology of roller compacted concrete (RCC) dams. It briefly summarizes the evolution of the technology and its early application and presents conceptual changes in major design and construction features which resulted from over forty years of application in different countries. The paper also discusses the future possible extension of application of the technology for appurtenant structures of dams especially for rehabilitation works with respect to the advantages of the RCC. As an example of such application the case of rapid reconstruction of the chute of the Oroville dam which was heavily damaged during spring flood in 2017 is presented.

Brick is the most important building material and brick kilns are a large source of environmental pollution. Most of the kilns used to produce the brick in Bangladesh are backdated and energy inefficient. These poorly performed brick kilns lead to high Green House Gas (GHG) emission and sub-standard brick quality. The objective of this paper is to analyze the brick making sectors of Bangladesh and to come up with a concrete recommendation for an energy efficient and environment friendly brick kiln. To evaluate the performance of these conventional kilns, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation approach is applied. CFD analysis helps to simulate the temperature profile of the brick kilns, the mass flow fractions of CO2 and NOx emissions at the outlet, and also the air velocity profile inside the kiln. Turbulence, Combustion and Radiation models are adopted to establish a realistic Tunnel kiln environment using ANSYS FLUENT. Using this software detailed analysis of tunnel kiln is done and a comparative analysis between FCK and Zigzag kiln is also presented in this paper.

A single crystal CVD diamond detector with graphitic wire electrodes running beneath the diamond surface has been fabricated. This detector design is novel in that there is no surface metallisation present within the active region, and so the detector is a uniquely transmissive X-ray beam diagnostic instrument. This detector is designed to simultaneously measure the position, profile, and flux of an incident beam. It has applications in beam position and profile monitoring, and active beam feedback and stabilisation. To achieve this, a short-pulse laser, focused to micron-sizes using adaptive optics, can be used to graphitise arbitrary wire paths within bulk diamond. Presented in this paper is a transmissive X-ray pixel detector design with a 50-micrometre pixel pitch created using this technique. This pixel detector is produced by fabricating two separate arrays of parallel wires running under the surface of a diamond plate. The two arrays run perpendicular to each other, and parallel to the diamond surface. They are separated within the material by a depth of 100 microns. The parallel wires within each array are separated by 50-microns, and this is what determines the pixel pitch. Each of the crossing points between two wires from each array acts as a pixel. The signal from each pixel may be read out by measuring the signal current from each wire in one array whilst applying a bias voltage alternately to each wire in the other, perpendicular array. Alternatively, it is proposed to modulate the bias applied to each wire at a different frequency, from which the 2-dimensional beam profile may also be measured using a lock-in technique. This paper will provide an overview of the fabrication techniques for this first prototype detector, and provide a discussion of signal readout methods that will be used. This paper describes the results of an experimental investigation aimed to st udy the machinability of AA7075 T6 (160 HV) for aerospace industry at high cutting speeds. The paper investigates the effects of different lubri-cooling strategies (cryogenic, M QL and dry) during high speed turning process on cutting forces, tool wear, chip morphology and cutting temperatures. The cutting speeds selected were 1000m/min, 1250m/min and 1500 m/min, while the feed rate values used were 0.1mm/rev and 0.3 mm/rev. The results of cryogenic and M QL application is compared with dry application. It was found that the cryogenic and M QL lubri-cooling techniques could represent a functional alternative to the common dry cutting application in order to implement a more effect ive high speed turning process. Higher cuttingparameters would be able to increase the productivity and reduce the production costs. The effects of the cutting parameters and on the variables object of study were investigated and the role of the different lubri-cooling conditions was assessed.

The paper introduces the impact of the self-stress level on the behaviour of the tensegrity truss structures. Displacements for real civil engineering tensegrity structures are analysed. Full-scale tensegrity tower Warnow Tower which consists of six Simplex trusses is considered in this paper. Three models consisting of one, two and six modules are analysed. The analysis is performed by the second and third order theory. Mathematica software and Sofistik programme is applied to the analysis.

The development and application of a number of advanced materials plant protection unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is an important part of the comprehensive production of agricultural modernization. The paper is taken as an example of Guangxi No. 1 agricultural service aviation science and Technology Co., Ltd. This paper introduces the internal and external environment of the research and development of the plant protection UAV for the advanced materials of the company. The external environment focuses on the role of the plant protection UAV on the development of the agricultural mechanization; the internal environment focuses on the advantages of the UAV in technology research, market promotion and application, which is imperative. Finally, according to the background of the whole industry, we put forward some suggestions for the developing opportunities and challenges faced by plant protection UAV, hoping to proving some ideas for operators, experts and scholars engaged in agricultural industry.

The energy-saving fired facing brick composite wall has a broad development prospects due to its merits of thermal insulation, energy conservation, beautiful, and natural. The construction and characteristics of this wall are introduced and analyzed in this paper. Experimental studies of samples are also conducted to investigate its compressive performance. The results show that the energy-saving fired facing brick composite wall has high compressive capacity. It has considerable application prospect, the study in this paper provides foundation to further studies.

Typical polarization optical time-domain reflectometer (POTDR) with single analyzer can hardly detect external disturbance along the fiber at certain points of fiber, because the analyzer is insensitive to state of polarization (SOP) change of optical signal at these points. It causes POTDR to be ineffective in locating the start point of disturbance precisely and in detecting disturbance at the end of the fiber when analyzer is insensitive to SOP change at the end point. So it is proposed to use two analyzers in POTDR system in this paper. The principle of polarized optical pulse passing analyzers of different SOP directions is presented. Finally the angle between the two SOP directions of the two analyzers chosen in the paper is π/4. Simulation and experiment using two analyzers in POTDR were conducted to verify the theory. This paper proposed a dynamic fatigue reliability method of contact wires based on dynamic simulation of high-speed pantograph-catenary. Firstly, the Weibull distribution was adopted to describe the fatigue life of contact wires so as to build the fatigue reliability model of contact wires. And then 10 finite element models of elastic chain type for contact networks were set up with the EN50367 parameter. Thereafter the stress time of the weakest unit on contact wires was calculated through the finite element simulation. Secondly, the mean value and amplitude of each stress cycle were calculated by means of rain flow counting method, and these values were put into the reliability model to draw the changing curve of the fatigue reliability of contact wires with time. The numerical example showed that the fatigue reliability of contact wires would be less than 0.98 when these wires were used for more than 10 years. The cost and complexity of existing PV monitoring systems restricted their use to large scale PV plants. In this paper, a comparative analysis of various PV monitoring systems is presented for the first time. It is based on analyzing six main characteristics of PV monitoring system, such as data transfer mechanism, controller, monitoring parameters, sampling interval, program development software and monitoring methods. The comparison of methodologies and the description of implementation process are discussed in this context. The main objective of this research is to present a solid foundation of capex projections for the major solar energy technologies until the year 2030 for further analyses. The experience curve approach has been chosen for this capex assessment, which requires a good understanding of the projected total global installed capacities of the major solar energy technologies and the respective learning rates. A literature survey has been conducted for CSP tower, CSP trough, PV and Li-ion battery. Based on the literature survey a base case has been defined for all technologies and low growth and high growth cases for further sensitivity analyses. All results are shown in detail in the paper and a comparison to the expectation of a potentially major investor in all of these technologies confirmed the derived capex projections in this paper.

This paper presents a performance of Neural Network Autoregressive with Exogenous Input (NNARX) model structure and evaluates the training data that provides robust model on fresh data set, using neural network type of back-propagation known as multilayer perceptron (MPP). The plant under test is a heat exchanger process control training system called QAD Model BDT 921. A real input-output data has been collected and will be used to identify the plant. The model was estimated by prediction error method with Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm for training neural networks. It is expected that the training data covering the full operating condition will be the optimum training data. The model was validated by residual analysis and model fit. It will be presented and concluded. The simulation results show that the identification is able to identify plant’s good model. The forward chaining method works based on the fact that there is to get a conclusion. Fact in this system derived from the symptoms of the selected user is matched with the premise on every rule in the knowledge base. A rule that matches the facts to be executed to be the conclusion in the form of diagnosis. This validation using 36 data test, 32 data showed the same diagnostic results between systems with an expert. So, the percentage accuracy of results of diagnosis using data test of 88%. There are many important roles of the orthotic insoles, such as for the convenience purpose of diabetic patient’s foot problem, and also to enhance athlete’s performance in sports. Therefore, highly customised insoles were in demand, where it has to be fabricated by moulding plaster of Paris on the person’s leg to customise the insole. The main purpose of the paper is to study the ability to implement additive manufacturing technology in the fabrication process of customised orthotics insole. The recent invention of flexible material (Filaflex) in Fused Deposition Modelling is the most significant reason that makes this fabrication process possible. By implementing a new approach to the 3D scanning of the foot, we produced the computer-aided drafting (CAD) drawing which was able to modify to desired shape and dimension. After the editing has been completed, the file was converted to Stereolithography format file (STL) as to enable it to be printed using Makerware or any other related software by sending command (G-code) to Flashforge 3D printer. The printed insole was tested its fit, form and function (also known as 3F). In the end, printed insole performs the function test which measures the plantar pressure of the foot compared with bare foot. The results show that the insole distributes pressure well throughout the foot surface, in which it reduced the peak pressure to half from 218KPa to 109KPa. Hence, it is concluded that the method proposed in this paper can produce a functional insole so that it can be the alternative way to make customised orthotic insoles.

Control chart used to monitor shifts in the process mean and variability for multivariate data. This paper aims to monitor process variability through |S| chart. Process variability observed by used the determinant of the sample covariance matrix, which is called |S|. The result of this paper show that the improved |S| chart is more sensitive to shifts in the process variability. The standard |S| chart has a bigger ARL than the improved chart by simulation.

Firstly, this paper establishes the principal component regression model to analyze the data quantitatively, based on principal component analysis to get the three principal component factors of flight delays. This paper has contribution to provide the temperature achievement between three pipes covered by glass tubes with and without glass cover of solar collector CPC type. The research conducted by varying the water flow rate of 1 l/m up to 6 l/m with three pipes arranged in series and parallel. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been widely used for monitoring where sensors are deployed to operate independently to sense abnormal phenomena. Most of the proposed environmental monitoring systems are designed based on a predetermined sensing range which does not reflect the sensor reliability, event characteristics, and the environment conditions. Measuring of the capability of a sensor node to accurately detect an event within a sensing field is of great important for monitoring applications. This paper presents an efficient mechanism for even detection based on probabilistic sensing model. Different models have been presented theoretically in this paper to examine their adaptability and applicability to the real environment applications. The numerical results of the experimental evaluation have showed that the probabilistic sensing model provides accurate observation and delectability of an event, and it can be utilized for different environment scenarios.

Permanent magnet synchronous motor is used widely in industry, the performance requirements wouldn’t be met by adopting traditional PID control in some of the occasions with high requirements. In this paper, a hybrid control strategy - nonlinear neural network PID and traditional PID parallel control are adopted. The high stability and reliability of traditional PID was combined with the strong adaptive ability and robustness of neural network. The permanent magnet synchronous motor will get better control performance when switch different working modes according to different controlled object conditions. As the results showed, the speed response adopting the composite control strategy in this paper was faster than the single control strategy. And in the case of sudden disturbance, the recovery time adopting the composite control strategy designed in this paper was shorter, the recovery ability and the robustness were stronger.
