In this work, objects from Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 17 (SDSS DR17) [1] were classified as dwarfs or giants using learning methods. The classification was created by supervised learning. Machine learning algorithms like K Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes Classifier, Support Vector Classification and Random Forest were developed in addition to Decision Trees. The algorithm that performed the worst was naive Bayes. Random Forest, which performed the best, was able to successfully classify the cases in the dataset that were marked as stars.
