Malaysia's standard operating procedure forbids the provision of Muslimah prayer outfits in public prayer facilities to minimize the risk of the COVID-19 virus spread among the shared-outfits users. The reuse of personal prayer outfits, overcrowding and spending longer in public prayer facilities can also increase the risk of fomite and airborne transmission by people with the virus. Thus, a Muslimah prayer outfit that forbids the spread of infectious diseases is crucially important. This paper presents a prayer gown that is made of disposable materials. Making efficient use of material, the gown is designed to be a single piece, comfortable and low cost. Besides the shari'ah-compliance features (reasonably thick fabric, black colour, elastic sleeves cuff and face opening), the prayer outfit provides a feasible solution to curb the transmission of contagious diseases amongst the prayers. It also serves as a gateway toward safe and easy travel for Muslim women. Introducing the disposable prayer gown helps achieve the perfect balance of the health, economic and social challenges of COVID-19 and other contagious illnesses. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
