The primary aim of this article is to explore the approximate controllability of second-order impulsive hemivariational inequalities with initial conditions in Hilbert space. The mild solution was initially derived using the properties of the cosine and sine family of operators, Clarke's subdifferential, and the fact that the related linear equation has an evolution operator. The results of the approximate controllability of the considered systems are then taken into account using the fixed-point theorem method. This paper presented the formulation and solution of the time fractional q-deformed tanhGordon equation, a new extension to the traditional tanh-Gordon equation using fractional calculus, and a q-deformation parameter. This extension aimed to better model physical systems with violated symmetries. The approach taken involved the controlled Picard method combined with the Laplace transform technique and the Caputo fractional derivative to find solutions to this equation. Our results indicated that the method was effective and highlighted our approach in addressing this equation. We explored both the existence and the uniqueness of the solution, and included various 2D and 3D graphs to illustrate how different parameters affect the solution’s behavior. A new nonlinear fourth-order sin-Gordon equation with actual physical background is first created. Then, by introducing an auxiliary function, the nonlinear fourth-order sin-Gordon equation is decomposed into the nonlinear system of equations of second-order derivatives of spatial variables. Subsequently, the time derivative is discretized by using the Crank-Nicolson (CN) scheme to construct a new time semi-discretized mixed CN (TSDMCN) scheme. Thereafter, the spatial variables in the TSDMCN scheme are discretized by using a two-grid mixed finite element (MFE) method to construct a new two-grid CN MFE (TGCNMFE) method with unconditional stability and second-order time precision, which consists of a system of nonlinear MFE equations defined on coarser grids and a system of linear MFE equations defined on finer grids with sufficiently high precision, and is very easy to solve. The existence, stability, and error estimates of the TSDMCN and TGCNMFE solutions are strictly proved theoretically, and the superiorities of the TGCNMFE method and the correctness of theoretical results are verified by two sets of numerical experiments.

The aim of this paper was to provide systematic approaches to study the existence of results for the system fractional relaxation integro-differential equations. Applied problems require definitions of fractional derivatives, allowing the utilization of physically interpretable boundary conditions. Impulsive conditions serve as basic conditions to study the dynamic processes that are subject to sudden changes in their state. In the process, we converted the given fractional differential equations into an equivalent integral equation. We constructed appropriate mappings and employed the Schaefer's fixed-point theorem and the Banach fixed-point theorem to show the existence of a unique solution. We presented an example to show the applicability of our results.

In this paper, we studied the generalizations of quantum calculus on finite intervals. We presented the new definitions of the quantum derivative and quantum integral of a function with respect to another function and studied their basic properties. We gave an application of these newly defined quantum calculi by obtaining a new Hermite-Hadamard inequality for a convex function. Moreover, an impulsive boundary value problem involving quantum derivative, with respect to another function, was studied via the Banach contraction mapping principle.

In this paper, we are interested in chemotaxis model with nonlinear degenerate viscosity under the assumptions of β = 0 (without the effect of growth rate) and u+ = 0. We need the weighted function defined in Remark 1 to handle the singularity problem. The higher-order terms of this paper are significant due to the nonlinear degenerate viscosity. In this article, we analyze the existence and uniqueness of mild solution to the Stieltjes integral boundary value problem involving a nonlinear multi-term, Caputo-type sequential fractional integro-differential equation. Krasnoselskii's fixed-point theorem and the Banach contraction principle are utilized to obtain the existence and uniqueness of the mild solution of the aforementioned problem. Furthermore, the Hyers-Ulam stability is obtained with the help of established methods. Our proposed model contains both the integer order and fractional order derivatives. In this work, a novel Hilfer cotangent fractional derivative is presented. This derivative combines the characteristics of the Riemann-Liouville cotangent fractional derivative and the Caputo cotangent fractional derivative. In this paper, we consider the existence of radial solutions to a $ k $-Hessian system in a general form. The existence of radial solutions is obtained under the assumptions that the nonlinearities in the given system satisfy $ k $-superlinear, $ k $-sublinear or $ k $-asymptotically linear at the origin and infinity, respectively. In this paper, we investigate the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions to a class of nonlocal partial difference equations via a variant version of the mountain pass theorem. The conditions in our obtained results release the classical (AR) condition in some sense.

This paper is concerned with piecewise pseudo almost periodic solutions of a class of interval general BAM neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and impulsive perturbations. By adopting the exponential dichotomy of linear differential equations and the fixed point theory of contraction mapping. The sufficient conditions for the existence of piecewise pseudo almost periodic solutions of the interval general BAM neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and impulsive perturbations are obtained. By adopting differential inequality techniques and mathematical methods of induction, the global exponential stability for the piecewise pseudo almost periodic solutions of the interval general BAM neural networks with mixed time-varying delays and impulsive perturbations is discussed. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results obtained in the paper.

In this paper, we investigate the dynamical behavior of traveling waves for a generalized Vakhnenko-Parkes-modified Vakhnenko-Parkes (VP-mVP) equation with non-homogeneous power law nonlinearity. By the dynamical systems approach and the singular traveling wave theory, the existence of all possible bounded traveling wave solutions is discussed, including smooth solutions (solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and breaking wave solutions) and non-smooth solutions (solitary cusp wave solutions and periodic cusp wave solutions). We not only obtain all the explicit parametric conditions for the existence of 5 kinds of bounded traveling wave solutions, but also give their exact explicit expressions. Moreover, we qualitatively analyze the dynamical behavior of these traveling waves by using the bifurcation of phase portraits under different parameter conditions, and strictly prove the evolution of different traveling waves with their exact expressions.

We introduce a novel notion of coupled closed boundary conditions and investigate a nonlinear system of Caputo fractional differential equations equipped with these conditions. The existence result for the given problem is proved via the Leray-Schauder alternative, while the uniqueness of its solutions is accomplished by applying the Banach fixed point theorem. Examples are constructed for the illustration of the main results. Some special cases arising from the present study are discussed.

The Banach contraction principle, along with necessary features of fixed point theory, is used to establish our results. An example is illustrated to justify the validity of the theoretical observations.

A nonlinear rotation-Camassa-Holm equation, physically depicting the motion of equatorial water waves and having the Coriolis effect, is investigated. Using the viscous approximation tool, we obtain an upper bound estimate about the space derivative of the viscous solution and a high order integrable estimate about the time-space variables. Utilizing these two estimates, we prove that there exist $ H^1(\mathbb{R}) $ global weak solutions to the rotation-Camassa-Holm model.

This paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness and exponential stability of mild solutions for a class of impulsive stochastic differential equations driven by Poisson jumps and time-varying delays. Utilizing the successive approximation method, we obtain the criteria of existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for the considered impulsive stochastic differential equations. Then, the exponential stability in the th moment of the mild solution is also devised for considered equations by establishing an improved impulsive-integral inequality, which improves some known existing ones. Finally, an example and numerical simulations are given to illustrate the efficiency of the obtained theoretical results.
