Black sexual minority men who have sex with men (MSM) in the United States are at disparate risk for contracting HIV infection, but pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) use is suboptimal. Social network methods were used to recruit a community sample of racial minority MSM and transgender women (TGW) in two Midwestern US cities. 250 PrEP-eligible (HIV-negative) participants completed measures assessing current and intended PrEP use; demographic characteristics; PrEP knowledge, attitudes, norms, stigma, and self-efficacy; and structural barriers to PrEP. Multivariate analyses established predictors of current and intended PrEP use. Only 12% of participants reported currently using PrEP, which was associated with greater PrEP knowledge and not having a main partner, with trends for greater PrEP use by younger participants and those with partners living with HIV. Among participants not currently on PrEP, strength of PrEP use intentions was associated with higher PrEP knowledge, PrEP descriptive social norms, and PrEP use self-efficacy. This study is among few to directly compare Black who have adopted PrEP with those who have not. Its findings underscore the potential benefits of employing social network approaches for strengthening PrEP use peer norms, increasing PrEP knowledge and self-efficacy, and optimizing PrEP uptake among racial minority MSM and TGW. The HIV epidemic continues to expand in Russia, with suboptimal levels of care uptake. This qualitative study aimed to characterize social capital resources and lived stigma experiences, coping, and disclosure among care-nonadherent men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV in Russia. Twenty-five HIV-positive MSM – recruited online – completed in-depth interviews over Zoom, with data analyzed using MAXQDA software. Stigma was more likely to be encountered in interactions with persons with whom social ties were weaker such as medical providers and relatives, particularly males. Close friends – often other HIV-positive MSM and female relatives – were the most supportive and least stigmatizing. Similar persons were most often considered for HIV serostatus disclosure. Coping strategies to reduce the impact of stigma included ignoring stigmatizing experiences, seeking support from members of one's social circle, minimizing contact with stigmatizing persons, seeking new relationships with persons who are also HIV-positive, proactively reducing stigma through involvement in advocacy roles, and correcting myths and educating others about HIV infection. These findings underscore the need for interventions to assist HIV-positive MSM in building accepting social capital resources to reduce the impact of stigma and to build support within their social networks, often with other HIV-positive MSM. The National surveillance data showed that homosexual transmission played a considerable role in new HIV infections in China. The emphasis on antiretroviral therapy and prevention of mother-to-child transmission provided chances for reproduction among people living with HIV/AIDS. Issues of fertility desire have a paucity of data among HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM). This cross-sectional study has assessed fertility attitudes and associated factors, as well as the reproductive knowledge among HIV-positive MSM. Analysis was mainly based on the multinomial regression model. The study included 129 participants, and almost all of the participants (96.1%) were between 18 and 30 years old and 82.2% of them were single. About 35.6% expressed a fertility desire. MSM without siblings tended to have fertility desire (OR = 0.236, 95%CI: 0.078∼0.712, p = 0.010). Surrogacy (36.4%) was the most desired method among the 86 respondents who had the desire or did not make a decision. While the accuracy of the reproductive knowledge was only 69.6%. In summary, we recommend that providers offer much more professional information and develop assisted reproductive technology to meet the reproductive aspirations of HIV-positive MSM. Substance use in people with HIV (PWH) negatively impacts antiretroviral therapy (ART) adherence. However, less is known about this in the current treatment era and the impact of specific substances or severity of substance use. We examined the associations of alcohol, marijuana, and illicit drug use (methamphetamine/crystal, cocaine/crack, illicit opioids/heroin) and their severity of use with adherence using multivariable linear regression in adult PWH in care between 2016 and 2020 at 8 sites across the US. PWH completed assessments of alcohol use severity (AUDIT-C), drug use severity (modified ASSIST), and ART adherence (visual analogue scale). Among 9400 PWH, 16% reported current hazardous alcohol use, 31% current marijuana use, and 15% current use of ≥1 illicit drugs. In multivariable analysis, current methamphetamine/crystal use, particularly common among men who had sex with men, was associated with 10.1% lower mean ART adherence (p < 0.001) and 2.6% lower adherence per 5-point higher severity of use (ASSIST score) (p < 0.001). Current and more severe use of alcohol, marijuana, and other illicit drugs were also associated with lower adherence in a dose-dependent manner. Intimate partner violence (IPV) is associated with adverse mental and physical outcomes among men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV. Few studies focus on psychological IPV, such as verbal threats. This study examined the associations between different forms of IPV and depression and CD4+ cell count, with depression as a mediator for the association between IPV and CD4+ cell count. Data for these analyses were derived from a larger cross-sectional study on HIV-HCV co-infection among MSM in Shanghai, China (N = 1623). We estimated the average causal mediation effects (ACME) and average direct effects (ADE) through three steps. About 16% of participants experienced IPV, with forced sex (7%), verbal threats (5%), and thrown objects (4%) being most common. Verbal threats showed the strongest link with depression and low CD4+ cell count. Depression fully mediated the relationship between verbal abuse and low CD4+ cell count, suggesting it as a potential pathway between psychological IPV and poorer HIV-related health outcomes. More research on psychological IPV is warranted to examine its health impacts. HIV prevention for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) and transgender women (TGW) is critical to reducing health disparities and population HIV prevalence. To understand if different types of stigma impact engagement with HIV prevention services, we assessed associations between stigmas and use of HIV prevention services offered through an HIV prevention intervention. This analysis included 201 GBMSM and TGW enrolled in a prospective cohort offering a package of HIV prevention interventions. Participants completed a baseline survey that included four domains of sexual identity/behavior stigma, HIV-related stigma, and healthcare stigma. Impact of stigma on PrEP uptake and the number of drop-in visits was assessed. No domain of stigma was associated with PrEP uptake. In bivariate analysis, increased enacted sexual identity stigma increased number of drop-in visits. In a logistic regression analysis constrained to sexual identity stigma, enacted stigma was associated with increased drop-in visits (aIRR = 1.30, [95% CI: 1.02, 1.65]). Participants reporting higher enacted stigma were modestly more likely to attend additional services and have contact with the study clinics and staff. GBMSM and TGW with higher levels of enacted stigma may seek out sensitized care after negative experiences in their communities or other healthcare settings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Loss to follow-up (LTFU) and interruption of antiretroviral therapy (ART) are associated with worse outcomes in people with HIV (PWH). Little is known about gaps in the continuum of care. We conducted a retrospective cohort study including adult PWH with at least one clinical visit during 2000-2017. Three groups of care were defined: those constantly retained in care (constantly-RIC), definitively LTFU (dLTFU), and those who returned to care (RTC) after being LTFU for 1 year. We analyzed characteristics of individuals at enrollment. Among 2967 patients, 1565 (53%) were constantly-RIC, 826 (28%) dLTFU, and 576 (19%) RTC. CD4+ ≥350 cells/μL at enrollment was more frequent in RTC patients (43% vs 28% in both constantly-RIC and dLTFU groups, p < 0.01). Time since enrollment to ART initiation was longer in dLTFU (3.3 weeks) and RTC groups (6.0 weeks) in comparison with constantly-RIC patients (2.0 weeks, p < 0.01). Multivariate analysis showed significant differences between groups. Older and ART-naïve patients at enrollment were less likely to have gaps in the continuum of care. Those with non-MSM transmission were less likely to RTC. Patients with CD4+ ≥350 cells/μL at enrollment were more likely to reengage in care. Quality of life (QoL) in people living with HIV (PLHIV) is reportedly worse than in people without HIV, with many factors impacting on this. We aimed to investigate QoL in PLHIV in New Zealand (NZ). In-person interviews were conducted including socio-demographic, health, social connectedness, and stigma-related questions. QoL was measured using the 13-question PozQoL Scale – summed to give a score between 13 and 65. Univariate linear regression was used to investigate factors associated with differences in PozQoL scores. PLHIV (n = 188) of different ethnicities from throughout NZ participated. The mean age was 47 years; 65% were men; 61% were men who have sex with men; 61% had been living with HIV for ≥10 years. The mean summary PozQoL score was 47.16. Factors associated with a lower mean PozQol included no sex in the last 12 months (−9.03), inability to meet basic needs (−7.47), ever (−6.49) or recently (−5.03), experiencing stigma or discrimination, mental health condition (−5.74), HIV diagnosis <5 years (−5.48), poor health (−5.43), being unemployed (−5.02), not having support (−4.71), and greater internalised stigma (−2.81). Improving QoL will require investment in peer support and community welfare programmes to better support PLHIV, and stigma reduction campaigns targeting the broader community. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Pain is a highly prevalent and burdensome symptom among people with HIV (PWH). This study aims to identify how the experience of living with HIV and chronic pain influences pain beliefs, health-seeking and pain management. Thirty-nine purposively sampled PWH with chronic pain (sample characteristics = 61% women, 79% Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups, 18% men who have sex with men, 45–54 median age category) participated in focus groups in London. Focus groups were co-facilitated with community members. Transcripts wereanalysed using a thematic approach. Findings revealed that HIV stigma, fractured care pathways, and general practitioners' lack of HIV training are barriers to supported pain management. Unaddressed pain results in poorer mental health and reduced quality of life, which has important clinical implications for HIV treatment adherence. Creating HIV-specific pain resources, activating social networks, and pain self-management techniques are potential solutions. Person-centred assessment and HIV training is needed to help clinicians identify PWH with chronic pain. Clear guidelines need to be developed to identify which health service providers are responsible for chronic pain management in PWH. HIV-related stigma and medical mistrust are significant challenges to addressing HIV inequities among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM). HIV-related stigma is associated with high levels of medical mistrust, but there is limited knowledge regarding the mechanisms that link these variables. We examined the potential mediating roles of social support and coping in the relationship between perceived HIV stigma and sexual orientation based-medical mistrust among newly HIV-diagnosed MSM. We hypothesized that HIV-related stigma would be associated with mistrust and that social support, and coping would mediate this relationship. Data were obtained from 202 newly HIV-diagnosed (<1 year) MSM receiving care at community HIV clinics in New York. A path model indicated that HIV stigma was directly related to greater sexual orientation based medical mistrust, and that this relationship was mediated by social support. However, coping did not mediate the relationship between HIV stigma and mistrust. Efforts to increase social support and decrease stigma are critical for strengthening relationships between MSM and HIV care networks. Future research should assess the feasibility of designing and implementing interventions focused on increasing social network support and improving trust in the medical community among newly HIV-diagnosed MSM. Young Black gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (YB-GBMSM) living with HIV are at high risk for psychological stressors and comorbidities. We sought to gain the perspectives of multidisciplinary providers (including HIV care, mental health care, and social service providers) on their experiences with engaging YB-GBMSM in mental health care within comprehensive HIV primary care centers that included both types of services on-site. We conducted qualitative in-depth interviews with fifteen providers in two clinics, and analyzed the qualitative data using a thematic analysis approach. Our participants described high levels of need for mental health services among YB-GBMSM living with HIV, due to psychological challenges related to living with HIV as well as other frequently occurring life stressors. At the same time, barriers to accessing these services were identified, with mental health stigma, under-recognition of symptoms and confidentiality concerns being the most commonly cited. Strategies to improve mental health service uptake in light of these needs and barriers were discussed, including re-framing of mental health services, addressing logistical barriers, and utilization of a biopsychosocial perspective. Limited data is available on the associations between intersectional stigmas and mental health outcomes among men who have sex with men living with HIV (MSMLH) in India. The minority stress model postulates that sexual stigma contributes to depression through proximal stressors like internalized homonegativity (IHN). Using cross-sectional survey data from 119 MSMLH in 2015/16, we tested whether: (1) sexual stigma and enacted HIV stigma (EHS) are associated with depression; (2) their effects on depression are mediated through IHN and internalized HIV stigma (IHS); and (3) their effects on IHN are mediated through IHS. Significant direct associations were observed between scores on sexual stigma and IHS (β =.49, 95% CI.27,.70), EHS and IHN (β =.19, 95% CI.03,.36), and IHS and IHN (β =.07, 95% CI.03,.12). IHS scores mediated the associations of sexual stigma with depression (β =.17, 95% CI.07,.27) and IHN scores (β =.04, 95% CI.004,.07). EHS was not found to be significantly associated with depression or IHN. The findings partially support the minority stress model among MSMLH and highlight the importance of addressing both sexual and HIV-related stigmas to improve mental health of MSMLH, especially by screening for and reducing IHS, IHN and depression. Recent evidence shows that circumcision is associated with lower HIV prevalence among MSM. We assessed the acceptability of circumcision for preventing HIV and that of Shang Ring circumcision (SRC) among men who have sex with men (MSM) in China. 538 adult MSM were recruited from six cities in China between January and March 2019. Participants were surveyed by an online, self-administered questionnaire. The acceptability of circumcision was assessed before and after the potential protective effect of circumcision against HIV was informed, and subsequently men's willingness to undergo SRC was assessed. The level of circumcision was 16.4%. Of 450 uncircumcised MSM, their willingness to be circumcised in the following six months increased significantly from 32.2% to 55.6% after the information session. Three quarters of men who were willing to undergo circumcision accepted SRC. MSM who perceived that circumcision could maintain genital hygiene were more likely to accept circumcision after the information session, whereas those who regarded circumcision as an embarrassing surgery were disinclined to be circumcised. The low circumcision rate, along with its high acceptability in Chinese MSM, suggests a great potential benefit of circumcision intervention if proved effective. African-American men who have sex with men (MSM) with HIV are more likely to have unsuppressed viral load than other racial/ethnic groups. HPTN 065 Study, completed in 2015, consisted of five interconnected study components conducted at clinics in Bronx, New York and Washington, D.C. Participants completed surveys with questions related to socio-demographic factors and individual-level HIV medication adherence barriers, such as forgetting doses or fear of taking medications in front of others. Descriptive analyses and ordinal logistic regression with robust standard errors were conducted. Fifty-seven per cent of participants (N = 359) were African-American (57.1%) and roughly 40% had no more than a high school education. Mean age was 48 years. Overall, MSM with viral load suppression identified fewer individual-level barriers to adherence (p <.01) and individuals with depressive symptoms identified a greater number of barriers to adherence (p <.01). Compared to African-Americans, white MSM had a lower likelihood of identifying barriers to adherence (p <.05). Findings suggest that individual-level barriers to HIV medication adherence are common among MSM, irrespective of time since diagnosis and viral suppression. Race-specific interventions which address intersectional stigma are needed to improve health outcomes among African-American MSM, who bear much of the burden of poor HIV outcomes in the United States. We aimed to assess the effect of childhood parental rearing on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among young HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM), as well as the mediation effect of social support on this association. A convenient sampling method and questionnaire-based survey were used to recruit eligible participants from the Wuhan Medical Treatment Center from 20 December 2018 to 28 February 2019. Bivariate analyses were used to investigate the correlations between PTSD and childhood parental rearing, the number of sexual partners and social support. Mediation analyses were used to investigate the mediation of social support. Totally, 142 eligible MSM participated in our study, with prevalence of PTSD being 33.10%. It was found that maternal warmth (M1) and maternal favoring (M5) were positively correlated with social support. Paternal rejection (F5) was positively correlated with PTSD. The effects of M1 and M5 on PTSD were completely mediated by social support. The effects of paternal favoring (F4) and M5 on PTSD were completely mediated by subjective social support, and the effects of F5 and M1 were completely mediated by social support utility. The study evaluates the acceptability and preferences for long-acting antiretroviral therapy (LA-ART) among a diverse cohort of people with HIV infection (PWH). It consists of a self-administered survey and chart review of PWH presenting to an HIV clinic in Houston, Texas, between February and June 2018; 374 participants were included; 61% indicated that they were likely or very likely to use LA-ART formulations. When asked about preference, 41% preferred pills, 40% preferred injections, and 18% preferred an implant. The most common benefit reported was eliminating the need to remember taking daily HIV pills (74%); 43% were worried that LA-ART will not be as effective as pills. Participants with a college degree, men who have sex with men, and ART-experienced were more willing to use LA-ART. Participants who reported poor or fair health, or who screened positive for depression or anxiety were significantly less willing to use LA-ART. The likelihood of using LA-ART did not correlate with self-reported adherence and HIV suppression. Patients with difficulty scheduling and attending clinic visits preferred injections and implant over pills. Most participants indicated a willingness to use new LA ART formulations. The prevalence of opioid misuse by people living with HIV (PLWH) during the current US opioid epidemic has not been fully described. Among a cohort of persons engaged in HIV care in North Carolina, we examined the prevalence of and risk factors for opioid misuse, defined as self-reported "street" opioid use (e.g., heroin) or nonmedical prescription opioid use on a patient reported outcomes survey. Recent (past three-month) opioid misuse among 1,440 PLWH in care 2012–2017 was 2% (95% CI 2-3%) and lifetime misuse 15% (13-16%). Persons reporting lifetime or recent misuse more commonly had hepatitis C and reported injecting drugs. In multivariable logistic regression models, male-to-male sexual contact was inversely associated with recent or lifetime misuse. White/non-Hispanic race/ethnicity was associated with lifetime misuse and CD4 count and viral load were not associated with opioid misuse. Among 32 persons reporting recent misuse, 81% had a contemporaneous viral load <50 copies/mL. In this cohort of PLWH engaged in care, recent opioid misuse prevalence was similar to general population estimates. Expeditious linkage and consistent engagement in medical care is important for people with HIV's (PWH) health. One theory on fostering linkage and engagement involves HIV status disclosure to mobilize social support. To assess disclosure and social support's association with linkage and engagement, we conducted a qualitative study sampling black and Latino men who have sex with men (MSM of color) in the U.S. Participants' narratives presented mixed results. For instance, several participants who reported delaying, inconsistent access, or detachment from care also reported disclosing for support purposes, yet sporadic engagement suggests that their disclosure or any subsequent social support have not assisted. The findings contribute to the literature that questions disclosure and social support's influence on care engagement, especially when decontextualized from circumstances and intentions. Our findings suggest the mechanics of disclosure and social support require planned implementation if intending to affect outcomes, especially among MSM of color. For people living with HIV, lack of adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) is a serious problem and frequently results in HIV disease progression. Reasons for non-adherence include concomitant psychosocial health conditions – also known as syndemic conditions – such symptoms of depression or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), past physical or sexual abuse, intimate partner violence (IPV), stimulant use, and binge drinking. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between syndemic conditions and medication adherence. The sample included 281 older men living with HIV who have sex with men (MSM). The study period was December 2012–July 2016. We observed the following syndemic conditions significantly decreased medication adherence: symptoms of depression (p =.008), PTSD (p =.002), and stimulant use (p <.0001). Past physical or sexual abuse, IPV, and binge drinking were not significantly associated with decreased medication adherence. We assessed attitudes to disclosure to new sexual partners and association with sexual behaviours among HIV-diagnosed gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) in the UK Antiretrovirals, Sexual Transmission Risk and Attitudes (ASTRA) study in 2011-12. Among 1373 GBMSM diagnosed with HIV for ≥3 months and reporting sex in the past three months (84% on antiretroviral therapy (ART), 75% viral load (VL) ≤50c/mL), 56.3% reported higher sexual disclosure ("agree" or "tend to agree" with "I'd expect to tell a new partner I'm HIV-positive before we have sex"). GBMSM on ART with self-reported undetectable VL had lower disclosure than those on ART without self-reported undetectable VL and those not on ART. Higher sexual disclosure was associated with higher prevalence of CLS in the past three months; this was due to its association with CLS with other HIV-positive partners. Higher sexual disclosure was more common among GBMSM who had CLS with other HIV-positive partners only (72.1%) compared to those who had higher-risk CLS with HIV-serodifferent partners (55.6%), other CLS with HIV-serodifferent partners (45.9%), or condom-protected sex only (47.6%). Findings suggest mutual HIV-disclosure and HIV-serosorting were occurring in this population. Knowledge of VL status may have impacted on disclosure to sexual partners. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Stigma remains a leading barrier to HIV care. To determine the influence of disclosure stigma (DS), fear of disclosing one's serostatus, on virologic suppression, a cross-sectional study was performed at the largest publicly-funded HIV clinic in South Texas. A survey was administered to participants who were: ≥18 years old, living with HIV, and receiving antiretroviral therapy. Surveys included demographics, adherence questionnaire, and a validated HIV-stigma scale with DS as the sum of 10 items ranked 0–3, with score of 30 indicating highest stigma. The primary outcome was lack of virologic suppression (LOVS): most recent HIV-1 RNA > 20 copies/ml. A bivariate analyses examined predictors of DS, dichotomized at the median. Depression score, perceived stress, and lack of friend/family support were associated with DS. Logistic regression models examined the relationship between DS, as a continuous variable, and LOVS. For 275 participants (69% Hispanic), median DS score was 18.5. DS was significantly inversely associated with LOVS (aOR 0.94 per 1 scale point; CI 0.89, 0.99) after adjustment for age, gender/sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, and drug use. The unanticipated inverse association between DS and LOVS highlights the complexity of this relationship. However, the balance of data in this cohort demonstrate an overall negative impact of DS. We evaluated awareness of treatment as prevention (TasP) among adults people living with HIV (PLHIV) in five infectious disease departments in Paris, then how they perceived its impact on their sexual well-being. This cross-sectional multicenter survey was conducted in 2014 during scheduled clinical appointments using a self-administered questionnaire. We analyzed 520 questionnaires (42% women, 54% men of whom 57% were MSM [men who have sex with men]). 75% of women were born abroad, most commonly in sub-Saharan Africa, whereas 64% of men were French-born. The mean time since HIV diagnosis was 12.8 ± 7.8 years. Eighty-seven percent [84−90%]95% reported being aware of the impact of ART on HIV transmission, 94% MSM, 86% women, 83% heterosexual men. PLHIV reported that they gained awareness of TasP through medical doctors (86%). The fear of transmission was perceived as alleviated for 73% [69%;78%]95%, more often among MSM; the sexual life was reported to be improved for 28% [24%;33%]95%; and ART adherence to be improved for 45% [40%;50%]95%, more often among women. The awareness of TasP was relatively high, but it seems important to understand the features of male and female populations of PLHIV to adapt counseling during follow-up appointments, as women's answers differed in various regards. The existing literature suggests a negative impact of intersectional stigma on multiple aspects of psychosocial well-being among individuals with multiple stigmatized identities. However, such impact remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate the association between intersectional stigma and psychosocial well-being among 193 men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV. Based on their responses to measures of HIV-related stigma and sexual and gender minority (SGM) stigma, the participants were grouped into "high" vs "low" on each type of stigma. The General Linear Model (GLM) was used to analyze the main and interaction effect of two types of stigma on multiple psychosocial measures. Our results indicated a significant interaction effect of two types of stigma on depression, anxiety, quality of life, and psychological resilience after controlling for key socio-demographic covariates. The findings suggest that experiencing both HIV-related stigma and SGM stigma may synergistically lead to poor psychosocial well-being among MSM in a more profound manner than experiencing only one type of stigma. It is critical for researchers and clinicians to consider the patients' multiple stigmatized identities, develop effective intervention strategies, and improve the psychosocial well-being of MSM living with HIV in China and other cultural settings. China is experiencing an emerging HIV epidemic among men who have sex with men (MSM). Minority stress theory posits that marginalized populations experience additional stress, which influences experiences of psychological distress and health outcomes. This study aimed to understand psychological distress of MSM relative to men who have sex with women (MSW) in an urban Chinese setting. Cross-sectional survey data were collected from 162 HIV-positive Chinese men receiving HIV treatment at Beijing's Ditan Hospital. Multiple linear regression with imputation was used to identify correlates of psychological distress. Relative to MSW, MSM were younger, more educated, and less likely to be in a relationship or have children. While both groups reported clinically elevated levels of depression and anxiety, sexual behavior was not associated with either outcome. Higher endorsement of depression symptomology was associated with worse reported physical health (β = −1.37, p <.05) and greater endorsement of maladaptive coping (β = 2.39, p <.05), whereas higher endorsement of anxiety symptomology was associated with greater endorsement of adaptive coping (β = 0.78, p <.05), diminished physical health (β = −0.86, p <.05), and a high school or greater level of education (β = 4.13, p <.05). Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) represent a key population disproportionately affected by HIV in various settings. While past studies have investigated how individuals negotiated their identities following their diagnoses of HIV, an emerging area of inquiry considers the implications of viral suppression, or becoming undetectable, on identity and well-being in an undetectable = untransmittable (U = U) era. We conducted 24 in-depth interviews with a purposively recruited sample of GBMSM living with HIV in Singapore. Interviews were analyzed through inductive thematic analysis. Participants viewed viral suppression as a clinical objective, and contrasted this with becoming undetectable as an identity and aspiration. Many participants saw becoming undetectable as a turning point for them post-diagnosis, and expressed a sense of achievement upon attaining the status. Participants shared that being undetectable was associated with several positive outcomes in coming to terms with their HIV-positive diagnoses that signified achievements in health, personal and social responsibilities, as well as equity in romantic and sexual relationships. Brazil has the largest population of individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Latin America with a disproportional prevalence of infection among men who have sex with men (MSM). This study evaluated PrEP awareness by age (18–24, 25–35, ≥36 years), its associated factors and the willingness to use HIV prevention technologies among MSM using a GSN app in Brazil. Inclusion criteria were ≥18 years-old, cisgender men and HIV-negative serostatus. Of 7242 individuals, 4136 (57%) completed the questionnaire. PrEP awareness was reported by 51% (though lower among MSM aged 18–24 and ≥36 years) and its associated factors were higher family income, most friends with the same sexual orientation, high number of male sexual partners and marijuana use. HIV testing (never vs. at least once) lead to an almost 3-fold increase in the odds of PrEP awareness. High HIV risk perception led to increased PrEP awareness only among MSM aged 18–24 years. A total of 2335 (56%) was willing to use daily oral PrEP. PrEP awareness remains low in Brazil and mobile tools are key strategies to reach MSM and increase awareness of prevention technologies. The rules of conduct given to people living with HIV in Sweden in accordance with the Swedish Communicable Diseases Act stipulate disclosure obligation to sexual partners and mandatory condom use. Since 2013, treating physicians have the possibility to exempt patients from this disclosure obligation when no considerable risk of transmission is present. This study explored experiences of communication with clinical staff at HIV clinics regarding rules of conduct and infectiousness among men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV in Sweden. In-depth interviews were carried out with 10 MSM living with HIV in Sweden. Study participants all reported unmeasurable viral loads. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Five categories and one theme, "Navigating between rules and reality", were identified. We found that MSM living with HIV had good relationships with clinical staff at HIV clinics. Inconsistencies emerged regarding how they experienced receiving information about the rules of conduct and infectiousness. The findings indicate that lack of sound routines regarding how information and rules of conduct are communicated negatively affects MSM living with HIV and poses potential risks for the individual. Syphilis incidence in Israel and other industrialized countries has increased in the past decade, mainly among men who have sex with men (MSM) who were co-infected with HIV. This study aimed to assess the demographic characteristics and behavioral risk factors for syphilis infection among HIV-infected MSM in the Tel-Aviv region, Israel. This cross-sectional study compared HIV-infected MSM who were co-infected with syphilis since 2005 with HIV-infected MSM without syphilis, using an anonymous self-administered questionnaire distributed at the AIDS treatment clinic in central Israel in 2016. This study included 75 HIV-infected MSM who were diagnosed with syphilis after their HIV diagnosis and 99 HIV-infected MSM without syphilis. Variables associated with syphilis infection included inadequate adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) (OR = 1.8 [1.2–2.4]), frequent unprotected receptive anal intercourse (UAI) with casual sex partners (OR = 2.2 [1.5–8.2]), especially with HIV-infected partner (OR = 3.2 [1.1–7.9]). In conclusion, HIV and syphilis co-infection were associated with frequent UAI with casual sex partners, inadequate adherence to ART and limited partner notification. In order to minimize syphilis transmission among HIV-infected MSM, AIDS clinics should encourage HIV-infected MSM to use condoms, ensure that patients perform periodic syphilis serology testing and improve partner notifications. Among Chinese HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM), high levels of depression are common. The association between HIV and depression is attributed to several factors, particularly HIV-related stigma. However, to date, how HIV-related stigma leads to depression among Chinese HIV-positive MSM is still unclear. As such, this study aims to examine the relationships between perceived HIV stigma, social support, resilience, self-esteem, and depressive symptoms among HIV-positive MSM in China. We conducted a cross-sectional survey study among 347 HIV-positive MSM from July to August 2016 in Nanjing, China. Measurements were sociodemographic and psychological constructs including perceived HIV stigma, social support, resilience, self-esteem, and depressive symptoms. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to examine the relationships among these constructs. Overall,134 (38.6%) participants had depressive symptoms. Perceived stigma was directly associated with depressive symptoms (β =.196, p <.001). Perceived stigma also indirectly affected depressive symptoms (β =.200, p <.001)through social support and self-esteem. Social support (β = −.124, p =.004) and self-esteem (β = −.536, p =.001), but not resilience, were direct predictors of depressive symptoms. Resilience was directly associated with self-esteem (β =.512, p <.001). Perceived HIV stigma could directly and indirectly impact depressive symptoms in HIV-positive MSM. HIV-positive men who have sex with men and women (MSMW) may transmit HIV to regular female sexual partners (FSPs, including girlfriend and wife) through unprotected sex. FSPs' awareness of the HIV serostatus of the MSMW promotes them to access services. However, the prevalence of HIV disclosure among MSMW was low, and factors associated with this disclosure are largely unknown. This study aimed to examine factors associated with HIV disclosure to regular FSPs among HIV-positive MSMW. We recruited 432 HIV-positive MSMW from three provinces of China and collected information on participants' individual characteristics and interpersonal relationships with their FSPs using individualized structured questionnaire. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used for data analysis. The prevalence of HIV disclosure to their most recent FSPs was 49.8%. Facilitators of HIV disclosure included the presence of HIV/AIDS symptoms, perceiving this partner's HIV status as positive, exposure to counseling favoring disclosure, inconsistent condom use, and this partner's acknowledgment of MSM identity. Barriers against HIV disclosure included unknown HIV serostatus of this partner and an instrumental relationship to hide MSM identity. HIV disclosure to regular FSPs was low. Sexual life is an important dimension of quality of life, which may be affected by the fear of transmission in people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), despite the fact that antiretroviral therapy prevents person-to-person transmission. We, therefore, aimed to explore the sexual life satisfaction of PLWHA and its correlation with their fear of HIV transmission and self-esteem. Consecutive adult PLWHA from seven HIV care facilities in the Rhone-Alpes region, France, were asked to complete a self-administered, anonymous questionnaire concerning sociological and medical data, satisfaction with sexual life (18 questions), and self-esteem (Rosenberg score). Overall, 690 PLWHA answered the questionnaire (mean age 49.2 ± 11 years); 74.9% were men, of which 75.1% had sex with men. Overall, 68.0% of respondents feared transmitting HIV (a lot/a bit). A lower satisfaction with sexual life was significantly associated with being female, not having a stable sexual partner, being unemployed, having a low income, experiencing a fear of HIV transmission, having lower self-esteem, and not reporting an excellent/very good health status. These results strongly suggest that the information concerning the antiretroviral-induced suppression of infectivity should be widely diffused, as this may enhance the quality of sexual life in PLWHA. Factors such as race, masculinity, and sexually transmitted infections have been documented to influence partner selection in men who have sex with men (MSM). Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has received mixed evaluations as a responsible step in HIV prevention and as an enabler of risker sexual practices. PrEP may consequently serve as an additional factor in partner choice. We examine the role that PrEP use and "promiscuity" play in affiliation and dating decisions by men who have sex with men with different HIV and PrEP stati. We invited 450 MSM across the United States from a smartphone geo-locating sex application to complete a survey of which 339 successfully finished the task. The survey contained vignettes of fictional men who were promiscuous or monogamous and either taking PrEP or not. Participants provided responses on whether to affiliate with these characters in three social domains: as friends, dates, or sex partners. Neither PrEP nor promiscuity influenced friendship choices. There was a preference for dating monogamous characters. Critically, PrEP influenced sexual affiliations for HIV negative individuals who showed a preference for PrEP-using characters. HIV prevention interventions that reduce sexual risk behaviors among young Black men who have sex with men (YBMSM), the most severely affected population in the United States, are critical for reducing disparities in HIV infection. However, there are few theory-based sexual risk reduction interventions designed specifically for YBMSM. This study tested the applicability of the Integrated Behavioral Model (IBM), which theorizes that behavioral intentions mediate the relationship between psychosocial constructs and health behavior on condomless anal intercourse (CAI) among YBMSM. To test key constructs of the IBM, analyses were conducted with baseline data from the HealthMpowerment (HMP) randomized controlled trial. Logistic regression was used to examine the relationships between condom use self-efficacy, norms, attitudes, intentions, and environmental constraints, and CAI. Mediation analysis was conducted to determine if condom use intentions mediated the relationship between psychosocial constructs (i.e., condom use self-efficacy, norms, and attitudes) and CAI. Overall 55.7% reported one or more acts of CAI with a male partner in the past 3 months. Those who reported CAI in the 3 months prior to the baseline survey reported lower self-efficacy for condom use, lower condom use norms, more negative attitudes toward condom use, and lower condom use intentions at baseline than those who reported no CAI. In mediation analysis, the relationships between CAI and self-efficacy for condom use (estimated indirect effect = -0.004 (SE = 0.002)), condom use norms (-0.002 (SE = 0.001)) and attitudes toward condom use (-0.005 (SE = 0.002)) were mediated by condom use intentions. This study applied the IBM to sexual risk behavior among a sample of YBMSM. Results indicate that the relationships between condom use selfefficacy, norms, and attitudes, and CAI were mediated by condom use intentions. Future theoryinformed interventions should focus on increasing self-efficacy for condom use, condom use norms, attitudes toward condom use, and condom use intentions to reduce CAI among YBMSM. An estimated 28,000 French people infected with HIV remain undiagnosed, leading to HIV transmission and late-stage HIV infections. An over-the-counter HIV self-test has been available since September 2015. We thus aimed to explore people’s perceptions of and intentions to use the test. An anonymous online questionnaire, targeting the general population and men who have sex with men (MSM) was distributed between November 2015 and January 2016. It explored at-risk sexual behavior, perceptions of the HIV self-test, and past and intended future use. A total of 1,082 participants completed ≥90% of the questionnaire (67.1% male, 32.4% female, 0.5% other; mean age 32.8 ± 12 years). 44.8% were MSM. 41.5% declared that they did not always use or make their partner use a condom in the case of penetration with someone other than their usual partner (if applicable). 9.9% had already used the HIV self-test, with this proportion being higher in multivariate analysis for individuals with a monthly income exceeding €1,000 and those declaring to be informed about HIV. 38.5% stated their intention to use the self-test in the coming month or year; in multivariate analysis, this proportion was lower for MSM and higher for those who did not always use or make their partner use a condom in the case of penetration with someone other than their usual partner. The majority (68.4%) underestimated the testing delay to rule out HIV infection. The most frequently cited concerns were that self-test does not test for other sexually transmitted infections (49.5%) and is not free of charge (44.4%), and that users are left alone with the result (41.0%). The HIV self-test was identified as a useful tool by different at-risk populations; it may therefore enhance the number of diagnoses. HIV self-stigma in HIV positive men who have sex with men (HIVMSM) has been identified as one of the largest challenges of HIV prevention, and associates with numerous negative outcomes, including depression, decreased social support, and less condom use intentions. In the present study, 321 HIVMSM in Chengdu, China were recruited to examine the prevalence of condom use in the past months and intentions to use condoms in next six months; we also identify pathways between HIV self-stigma and intentions to use condoms by the structural equation modeling approach. Results showed that Chinese HIVMSM had the suboptimal prevalence of consistent condom use and low intentions to use condoms consistently. Additionally, depression and decreased social support were significant mediators between HIV self-stigma and condom use intentions. This study investigated the associations between forms of HIV-related optimism, HIV-related stigma, and anxiety and depression among HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM) in the United Kingdom and Ireland. HIV health optimism (HHO) and HIV transmission optimism (HTO) were hypothesised to be protective factors for anxiety and depression, while the components of HIV-related stigma (enacted stigma, disclosure concerns, concern with public attitudes, and internalised stigma) were hypothesised to be risk factors. Data were collected from 278 HIV-positive MSM using an online questionnaire. The prevalence of psychological distress was high, with close to half (48.9%) of all participants reporting symptoms of anxiety, and more than half (57.9%) reporting symptoms of depression. Multiple linear regressions revealed that both anxiety and depression were positively predicted by internalised stigma and enacted stigma, and negatively predicted by HHO. For both anxiety and depression, internalised stigma was the strongest and most significant predictor. The results highlight the continued psychological burden associated with HIV infection among MSM, even as community support services are being defunded across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Ethnic affiliation can define sociocultural boundaries and contribute to the HIV vulnerabilities faced by men who have sex with men (MSM). This study investigated the influence of ethnic affiliation on HIV vulnerabilities among MSM in North China. Our study analyzed a cross-sectional survey of MSM (n = 398) in two major North China cities. We examined associations between ethnic affiliation and (a) HIV status, (b) sexual behaviors and experiences, and (c) substance use. Compared to ethnic majority Han MSM: MSM belonging to ethnic minority groups of South China had significantly greater odds of HIV infection (AOR: 7.40; 95% CI: 2.33-23.47) and experience of forced sex (AOR: 3.27; 95% CI: 1.12-9.52). Compared to ethnic majority Han MSM, Ethnic Hui MSM had significantly lower odds of condomless anal sex (AOR: 0.41; 95% CI: 0.21-0.82) and significantly greater odds of circumcision (AOR: 2.62; 95% CI: 1.24-5.51). HIV prevalence and riskier sexual behaviors among MSM in China appear to vary significantly by ethnic affiliation. Current epidemiological practices of aggregating all ethnic minority groups in China into a single category may be masking important interethnic differences in HIV risk, and precluding opportunities for more culturally appropriate interventions. Overlapping stigmas related to sexual minority-, race/ethnicity-, and HIV-status pose barriers to HIV prevention and care and the creation of supportive social networks for young, Black, gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM). A risk-based approach to addressing the HIV epidemic focuses on what is lacking and reinforces negative stereotypes about already-marginalized populations. In contrast, a strengths-based approach builds on Black GBMSM's existing strengths, recognizing the remarkable ways in which they are overcoming barriers to HIV prevention and care. HealthMpowerment (HMP) is an online, mobile phone optimized intervention that aimed to reduce condomless anal intercourse and foster community among young Black GBMSM (age 18-30). Applying a resilience framework, we analyzed 322 conversations contributed by 48 HMP participants (22/48 living with HIV) on the intervention website. These conversations provided a unique opportunity to observe and analyze dynamic, interpersonal resilience processes shared in response to stigma, discrimination, and life challenges experienced by young Black GBMSM. We utilized an existing framework with four resilience processes and identified new subthemes that were displayed in these online interactions: (1) Exchanging social support occurred through sharing emotional and informational support. (2) Engaging in health-promoting cognitive processes appeared as reframing, self-acceptance, endorsing a positive outlook, and agency and taking responsibility for outcomes. (3) Enacting healthy behavioral practices clustered into modeling sex-positive norms, reducing the risk of acquiring or transmitting HIV, and living well with HIV. (4) Finally, empowering other gay and bisexual youth occurred through role modeling, promoting self-advocacy, and providing encouragement. Future online interventions could advance strengths-based approaches within HIV prevention and care by intentionally building on Black GBMSM's existing resilience processes. The UNAIDS 90-90-90 target has prioritized achieving high rates of viral suppression. We identified factors associated with viral suppression among HIV-positive gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) in Kisumu, Kenya. HIV-positive participants in the Anza Mapema study were offered antiretroviral therapy (ART) regardless of CD4 count. HIV viral load was assessed at baseline and after 6 and 12 months of follow-up. Viral suppression was defined as <1,000 copies/mL. Sociodemographic, sexual behaviors, and psychosocial characteristics were assessed via audio computer-assisted self interview. We used generalized estimating equations to estimate the associations between baseline and time-dependent predictors and viral suppression at 6 and 12 months. Seventy-five HIV-positive men were enrolled in the Anza Mapema study, of which 63 had at least one viral load measured during follow-up. Among 52 men with a viral load measure at month 6, 37 (71%) were on ART and virally suppressed. Among 59 men with a viral load measure at month 12, 37 (63%) were on ART and virally suppressed. In the final multivariable model, men who reported receptive or versatile sexual position during anal intercourse with a male partner had reduced odds of viral suppression (aOR = 0.20; 95% CI: 0.08-0.50). Greater levels of coping self-efficacy were associated with increased odds of viral suppression (aOR = 1.10; 95% CI: 1.03-1.16). Despite extensive initiation, retention, and adherence support, the rate of viral suppression in this population did not meet the UNAIDS 90-90-90 target (81% for individuals aware of their HIV status). Pervasive stigma against male-male sex, especially men who practice receptive anal sex, may underlie our findings, which highlight the need for advocacy and stigma reduction efforts. Because coping self-efficacy was a protective factor, efforts to promote resilience in addition to healthy sexual identity development may lead to improved care outcomes among GBMSM in this area. People living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in China experience significant psychological distress, due to high rates of stigma and low availability of mental health resources. Recently diagnosed Chinese PLWHA who are men who have sex with men (MSM) are particularly vulnerable to distress, facing both HIV and sexual orientation stigma. Reducing distress and enhancing psychological resilience is critical in promoting wellbeing. However, no research to date has examined evidence-based interventions to reduce psychological symptoms and improve resilience in this population. Based on qualitative research on their mental health needs, we developed a culturally tailored, brief 3-session CBT skills-based intervention for integration into primary care [Yang, J. We conducted a pilot Type 1 hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial assessing pre-post mental health outcomes as well as feasibility, acceptability, and appropriateness information. Ten recently diagnosed MSM completed the research protocol of three individual weekly sessions. Paired-samples t tests demonstrated significant reduction in HIV-related distress, depression, problems with adjustment, as well as improvements in resilience, and perceived social support. Participants and community advisory board members found the intervention highly acceptable, appropriate, and feasible. Preliminary data from the first known study examining a psychological intervention with evidence-based components for recently diagnosed Chinese MSM suggests that this brief intervention may be useful for reducing distress and promoting resilience. Young Black gay/bisexual and other men who have sex with men (YB-GBMSM) are disproportionately impacted by HIV/AIDS. Novel intervention strategies are needed to optimize engagement in HIV care for this population. We sought to develop a group-level intervention to enhance resilience by augmenting social capital (defined as the sum of resources in an individual's social network) among YB-GBMSM living with HIV, with the ultimate goal of improving engagement in HIV care. Our multiphase, community-based participatory research (CBPR) intervention development process included: (1) Development and maintenance of a youth advisory board (YAB) comprised of YB-GBMSM living with HIV; (2) Qualitative in-depth interviews with YB-GBMSM living with HIV; (3) Qualitative in-depth interviews with care and service providers at clinics and community-based organizations; and (4) Collaborative development of intervention modules and activities with our YAB, informed by social capital theory and our formative research results. The result of this process is Brothers Building Brothers By Breaking Barriers, a two-day, 10-module group-level intervention. The intervention does not focus exclusively on HIV, but rather takes a holistic approach to supporting youth and enhancing resilience. Intervention modules aim to develop resilience at the individual level (exploration of black gay identity, development of critical self-reflection and coping skills), social network level (exploring strategies for navigating family and intimate relationships) and community level (developing strategies for navigating clinical spaces and plans for community participation). Most intervention activities are interactive, in order to facilitate new social network connections - and accompanying social capital - within intervention groups. In summary, our intensive CBPR approach resulted in a novel, culturally-specific intervention designed to enhance HIV care engagement by augmenting resilience and social capital among YB-GBMSM living with HIV. Vengeance is defined as a continuum of thoughts and/or actions ranging from harmless thoughts to destruction or death, due to feelings of hurt or anger, as a result of a perceived personal attack. Studies assessing the association between vengeance and HIV risk behavior are extremely lacking. The primary aims of this study were to examine the associations between vengeance and sexual compulsivity (SC), and self-efficacies (SEs) for condom use, HIV disclosure, and negotiation of safer sex practices. Data were obtained from 266 men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV. Simple and multiple linear regression were used to explore the associations between vengeance, SC and SE. After adjusting for sociodemographic and HIV-related factors, there was a negative association between vengeance and SE for HIV disclosure: (most vengeful: β = -1.49; 95% CI: -2.40, -0.58; more vengeful: β = -1.17; 95% CI: -2.12, -0.22; vengeance (continuous: β = -0.03; 95% CI: -0.05, -0.01). The use of recreational drugs while having sex is associated with increased HIV incidence among men who have sex with men (MSM). Taking a daily antiretroviral pill, or pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a biomedical intervention to prevent HIV. However, the efficacy of PrEP is closely tied with high levels of adherence. While PrEP has the potential to reduce HIV acquisition, the use of recreational drugs may impede adherence. We explored perceptions of PrEP utilization and regimen preferences among 40 HIV-negative, MSM who reported concurrent recreational drug use and condomless anal sex with a man. Semi-structured qualitative interviews were conducted and the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Participants perceived that it would be challenging to take PrEPwhilehigh on crystal meth, crack, powder cocaine, ecstasy and/or GHB. However, men identified strategies for using PrEP when they werenot highon these drugs, including taking the pill when they started their day and integrating PrEP into an established routine, such as when taking other medications or preparing for sex. PrEP regimen preferences seemed to be shaped by the frequency in which participants used drugs and their ability to plan for sex. Taking PrEP everyday was appealing for those who regularly engaged in sexualized recreational drug use. Accounts depict these sexual interactions as frequent but unpredictable. A daily regimen would allow them to be prepared for sex without having to plan. An event-driven regimen was acceptable to men who occasionally used recreational drugs in the context of sex. For this group, sex usually occurred was generally prearranged. Patterns of sex and recreational drug use figured largely into participants’ framings of how they would use PrEP. HIV-positive men who have sex with men (HIVMSM) face severe stigma and high levels of stressors, and have high prevalence of mental health problems (e.g., depression and anxiety). Very few studies explored the role of positive psychological factors on mental health problems among HIVMSM. The present study investigated the prevalence of two mental health problems (anxiety and depression), and their associated protective (gratitude) and risk (enacted HIV-related stigma, and perceived stress) factors among HIVMSM in China. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 321 HIVMSM in Chengdu, China, by using a structured questionnaire. Over half (55.8%) of the participants showed probable mild to severe depression (as assessed by the Center of Epidemiologic Studies Depression scale); 53.3% showed probable anxiety (as assessed by the General Anxiety Disorder scale). Adjusted logistic regression models revealed that gratitude (adjusted odds ratio (ORa = 0.90, 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) = 0.86–0.94) was found to be protective, whilst perceived stress (ORa = 1.17, 95% CI = 1.12–1.22) and enacted stigma (ORa = 7.72, 95% CI = 2.27–26.25) were risk factors of depression. Gratitude (ORa = 0.95, 95% CI = 0.91–0.99) was also found to be protective whilst perceived stress (ORa = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.14–1.24) was a risk factor of anxiety. Gratitude did not moderate the associations found between related factors and poor mental health. It is warranted to promote mental health among HIVMSM, as depression/anxiety was highly prevalent. Such interventions should consider enhancement of gratitude, reduction of stress, and removal of enacted stigma as potential strategies, as such factors were significantly associated with depression/anxiety among HIVMSM. Rising rates of HIV infection among younger black men who have sex with men (YBMSM) in the USA have generated a public health emergency. Living with HIV requires deep and persistent social support often available only from close confidants. Enlisting endogenous support network members into the care of HIV-infected YBMSM may help shape sustainable supportive environments, leading to long-term improvements in mental and HIV-specific health outcomes. The present study examined trends in support network change over time after new HIV diagnoses among 14 YBMSM. Participants completed a social network survey that utilized sociograms to record support confidants (SCs) preceding HIV diagnosis and at one and nine months postdiagnosis. Reported SCs included family of origin, friends, sex partners, and other associates. Analysis revealed three distinct patterns of change: high gain, high turnover, and stable networks. These patterns offer valuable insights into the social support of YBMSM during the period following diagnosis. This research underscores a growing movement to embrace key support figures in the lives of YBMSM, who may be critical to promoting overall health and adherence to HIV-care. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
