Abstract
The article reports that the World Bank has given $84M to facilitate economic development and poverty reduction strategy in Rwanda. The money has been allocated and divided into several programs including Lake Kivu methane gas project, Kigali-Ruhengeri road rehabilitation program and projects to fight HIV/AIDS.

Abstract
The article reports on the fund received by Rwanda from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) under the Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility (PRGF). The country is to receive $1.7m that brings the total amount received to $5.1m under the PRGF which is almost half of the total amount to be receive from IMF over a three-year period. Meanwhile, IMF's Murilo Portugal mentions several challenges that needed to be solved by the Rwandan government which include management of grant-financed fiscal expansion without threatening macroeconomic stability, avoidance of increasing inflation, and others.

Abstract
The article reports on the economic progress of Rwanda since the 1994 genocide. Although, still among the world's poorest countries, the country has made significant progress. But economic experts recommend that economic assistance from the international community is still needed. The Rwandan government has overtly committed itself to promoting private investment as an engine of development.
