The introduction of the thought of supply chain management into the construction industry can improve the competitiveness of enterprises. Based on the integration of both the effect of the supply chain as well as supply chain management and the actual situation, this paper analyzed the necessity of the construction and implementation of supply chain management of the construction enterprise. Compared with the supply chain of manufacturing industry, we found it feasible to implement supply chain management in the construction industry and analyzed the obstacles in it. Finally, it pointed out that the clustering of construction materials, information technology, business process reengineering, outsourcing of projects logistics and so on were the basis of constructing supply chain management of the construction enterprise, and accordingly the joint-design supply chain model of the project cost-oriented and the responsiveness-oriented was established.

In this paper we develop a robust controller based on sliding mode, neural network and fuzzy logic for the control of a class of under-actuated systems. The stability of the proposed controller is proved with the Lyapunov function method. Simulation results are made on an inverted pendulum.

The purpose of this paper is to study the anti-corrosion properties of a novel pre-treatment CeO2/ZrO2 nanometric film coating on the surface of cold-rolled plate at room temperature. A novel coating agents involved elements Zr,Ce and additional surfactants were prepared and used in the field of cold-rolled plate pretreatment. The surface of the coating sample was investigated by using X-ray Photon Spectrum (XPS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electronic Microscope (SEM)，respectively. The Ce3+ doted ZrO2 nanofilm could improve the anti-corrosion performance of coated plate. This dipping coating process satisfied the energy-saving and green chemistry requirement of modern cold-rolled plate pre-treatment technology.

A problem of quadrotor’s control system based on DSP is investigated in this paper. STMS320F28335 is used as the main processer, due to its advantages of high-speed processing capability and powerful floating point processing capability. The inertial measurement unit is selected for inner-loop attitude control, while the optical flow sensor is adopted for outer-loop attitude compensation. Infrared range finder is choosed for altitude control with PID method. Quadrotor uses XBee-Pro wireless module to contact with ground station and sends statement information in accordance with the Mavlink protocol. Test results show that the control system is reliable and can meet the requirement of the attitude control system.

Authentication is the process where claims of identity are verified. Most mechanisms of authentication exist above the physical layer, though some exist at the physical layer often with an additional cost in bandwidth. This paper introduces a general analysis and design framework for authentication at the physical layer where the authentication information is transmitted synchronously with the data. By superimposing a carefully designed secret modulation (wavelet transform) on the waveforms, authentication is added to the signal without requiring additional bandwidth. Simulation results are given that demonstrate the potential application of this authentication technique.

This paper presents the results of experimental studies carried out to conduct a comprehensive investigation on the influence of tool material on the characteristics of Electrical Discharge Machining process of AISI H13 tool steel. The studied process characteristics included the tool wear ration and thickness of the white layer on the workpiece after the EDM process. The experiments carried out under the designed full factorial procedure and the considered EDM input parameters included pulse on-time and pulse current. The results of this study could be utilized to choice a set of pulse on-time and pulse current according to the outcomes that suit the requirements of tool-workpiece combination processed by the EDM.

Yunnan province has rich natural resources with high species diversities because of its unique ecological environments, while the abundance of genera of seed plants endemic in Yunnan ranked the top one in China. But there are several shortcomings influence the research and the protection on genera of seed plants endemic in Yunnan. Firstly, the storage of relevant knowledge and data of genera of seed plants endemic in Yunnan is dispersion; secondly, the structure of the data system is poor; thirdly, the format and standard database is not unified. In order to improve the above shortcomings, this paper will built an ontology knowledge database for Yunnan genera of seed plants endemic based on ontology, geography ontology and ontology integration technologies. This new ontology knowledge database will apply new technologies and theoretical basis for the further macroscopic research on Yunnan genera of seed plants endemic. And it will apply scientific decision and research methods for optimization adjustment on distribution of genera of seed plants endemic in Yunnan.

Monodispersed silica spheres have attracted much attention because of their widely applications in the areas of catalysis, adsorption, chromatography packing materials and advanced ceramics. This paper focused on its application as a packing material of function coatings for space applications. Nanosized monodispersed silica spheres can be fabricated by Stöber method. However, microsized monodispersed silica spheres are not easy obtained. In this paper monodispersed silica spheres with the size between 200nm to 2000nm were fabricated by hydrolysis of tetraethoxy silane (TEOS) in isopropyl alcohol solvent and using ammonia as catalyst through multi-step growth method. The influence of silica seed number density and TEOS concentration on monodispersity and size of silica sphere were studied. The result shows that monodispersed silica spheres could be obtained through control the concentration of TEOS and the silica seed number density during every growth step. The diameter of monodispersed silica spheres increased with the steps of growth.

Research results further verified rationality and security of the design scheme, which provides reliable reference for construction and operational of inverted siphon structure.

The Deep Surface Rolling (DSR) technology can substantially increase the fatigue life of metallic materials due to the introduction of deep compressive residual stresses in the material surface. These beneficial compressive residual stresses can be achieved up to a depth of 1 mm. The DSR technology also produces a good surface finish unlike bead peening technology. In this study, the main objectives were: (1) to study the feasibility of DSR for fatigue life improvement of high strength aluminium alloy (7075-T651) repaired with laser cladding technology, and (2) to investigate the effect of thermal stressing on the fatigue life improvement of DSR. Previously published results have shown that post-heat treatment of laser clad high strength Al alloy coupons improved their fatigue life. The experimental results in this paper show that the fatigue life was substantially increased using the DSR technique on laser clad 7075-T6 aluminium alloy compared to laser cladding alone and laser cladding followed by post heat treatment.

This paper designed an analog control circuit which can automatically track the sun for PV bracket system to improve the solar cell photo-electricity conversion efficiency. The sunlight intensity can be real-time detected by sampling the short-circuit current of solar cell. The PV bracket system can be automatically adjusted to achieve a final horizontal angle and pitch angle by using the hysteresis comparator and dedicated motor driver chip, which always makes photovoltaic modules toward the sun's position. At the same time, the PV bracket system can be automatically reset by the hall switch when the sun reaches the sunset and the light intensity is less than the reference value. The experimental prototype is used to testify the correctness and reliability of the control system, which has better practicability and value to extend.

A new soil water characteristic curve (SWCC) model considering urea concentration is presented in the paper. Two assumptions are used to obtain the model. One is SWCC which could be described by exponential functions in the experiments. Another is relationship between the parameters of exponential functions and urea concentration which is linear based on experimental data. In the research, we have carried out some experiments of SWCC and obtained some valuable data which could affect urea concentration. By using linear fitting, an exponential function between water content and suction and urea concentration is established.

Thorium has a possibility as alternative nuclear reactor fuel. Thorium has several good neutronic properties so that could provide higher capacity factor, more stable and insoluble, very resistant to weapon-material proliferation, and more cost effective. On the other hand, regarding the previous study [, neutronic performance of Thorium utilization as nuclear fuelwithout burnable poison materials additionyielded high excess reactivity. In order to handle this safety consideration without increase control mechanically, there was possible to add burnable poison (BP) materials. BP materials could absorb faster from fuel burn up because they have high cross section capture. Besides, they could left poison residue as few as they can in the end of fuel cycle. Protactinium, Pa, was a nuclide which has the same characteristic such standard BP materials. This paper describes the effect of addition of Pa-231 towards excess reactivity and operation time. The optimized design resulted in boiling water reactor with active volume 5,193.034 liter, power 182 MWt, operation time 28 years and maximum excess reactivity 0,56% dk/k. These specifications were obtained using fuel percentage composition of U-232 as much as 10 13% and Pa-231 as much as 9.36 16.01%.

In this paper, fully monolithic tunable millimeter-wave filters using defected ground structures (DGS) are proposed using the CPW-based periodic structures with novel multiple-contact MEMS switches. Millimeter-wave low-pass filters were designed, fabricated, and tested. The cascaded CPW-based periodic structures, with low-pass intrinsic filtering characteristics, are reconfigured into a self-similar single unit cell by the operation of the novel multiple-contact MEMS switches with single actuation. In the first order tuning, the 3-dB cut-off frequency changes from 8.2GHz to10.5GHz, and the second order tuning is 8.2GHz to 16.8GHz. The tested results show that the pass-band ripple is less than 1.2dB and the maximal out-of-band rejection is better than 27dB. The chip size of the low-pass filter is 2.5mm×1.2mm.

Land use is the result of the interaction between the Nature and the Man; the change of land use not only affects landscape pattern changes, but also affects ESV. The paper is based on RS and GIS technology, taking Changshou district of Chongqing as an example. We select and calculate the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (SHDI), landscape fragmentation index (LTFI) and landscape dynamic index (K), to analyze the landscape pattern changes, and the theories of ESV is used in this paper. The results indicate: In 2002 and 2009, the total of patches increases. The area and the patches of forest land, brush, town and construction increase, while the area and the patches of the paddy, dry land, and the unused land reduce. SHDI and LTFI increase slightly. ESV ascends from 191million yuan to 197million yuan from 2002 to 2009, the net ascending value is 61million. The results show the ecological environment has improved a little in Changshou.

Dynamic properties of Nanostructured Metal Matrix Composites (NMMCs) materials consisting of nanograined aluminum matrix with nano or micro-sized ceramics particulates are calculated using Ansys/LS-DYNA in this paper. There are three conditions for the mechanics analysis involved the target with 10 vol. % SiC, 30 vol. % SiC and 50 vol. % SiC. It is assumed that the SiC particles uniformly distributed in the matrix. According to the analysis, the strength of NMMCs material is reduced, and the deformation of target is weakened by the vol. % of SiC increasing.

With the widely use of discrete problems in production scheduling, traffic control, logistics, management science and social science, the restraint of the integer solution to the discrete problem, adding to the difficulties. In this paper, knapsack problem as an example, the computational accuracy and computation in the next, studied the design and analysis of algorithms for solving discrete problems.

In port crane industry, the surface hardening technique is widely used in order to improve the strength of wheel. But the hardening depth is chosen only by according to the experience, and the effect of different hardened depths is not studied theoretically. In this paper, the contact stresses in wheel with different hardening depth have been analyzed by applying three-dimensional finite element model. Based on this model, the ANSYS10.0 finite element software is used. The elastic wheel is used to verify the numerical results with the Hertz’s theory. Three different hardening depths, namely 10mm, 25mm and whole hardened wheel, under three different vertical loads were applied. The effect of hardening depth of a surface hardened wheel is discussed by comparing the contact stresses and contact areas from the numerical results.

Graft copolymerization of acrylamide (AM) and methyl acrylacyl oxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (DMC) onto gelatin under microwave radiation was studied. The resultant ternary graft copolymer was used as wood pulp dry-strengthening agent. The application results showed that the optimum synthesis conditions was that microwave radiation power was 500W, microwave radiation time was 120S, the concentration of CAN(initiator) was 3mmol/L, m(CS): m(AM): m(DMC) =1:6:2. The breaking length and broken index of hand sheet made of wood pulp was respectively increased by 24.5% and 22.3% when the dosage of the graft copolymer was 0.8% of dry fiber weight.

Concrete interlocking block pavement is characterized of preferred durability, easy construction and maintenance and low construction cost. It can be widely applied in the rural highway. Based with the project of rural highway in Tongchuan Shaanxi province, the paper studies the mechanism of interlocking blocks, design of the pavement, and construction technology for field application. After one year service for open traffic, the interlocking block pavement is shown to have fascinating economy and service performance for the rural road.

Anisotropic materials have been widely applied in practical engineering problems of interest. In the paper, the anisotropic heat transfer behaviors are analyzed using the proposed hybrid finite element model with Green’s function kernel. In the established weak integral hybrid functional, the element internal field being approximated with the combination of Green’s function satisfies a priori the governing partial differential equation and the independent frame field is assumed to link the internal field. As a result, the solving linear system of equations with boundary integrals only is obtained and the constructed elements show anisotropic feature. Two numerical examples are given to show the convergence and accuracy of the proposed approach, and the effect of ply angle of orthotropic material principal direction on the temperature distribution is discussed to investigate heat transfer mechanism in anisotropic materials.

In this paper, the keyhole of YAG laser welding 5A90 Al-Li alloy was observed and measured through the high speed camera. The characteristics of the keyhole and the effects of welding parameters were studied. The characteristics of the absorption of laser energy and the susceptivity for heat input in welding 5A90 were given. The results show that in this welding condition, the keyhole of laser welding 5A90 is nearly a taper and the highest temperature area is in the bottom. There are clear effects of heat input on the characteristics, especially the surface radius of keyhole and plasma/vapor in keyhole. Another phenomena is observed that sometime plasma/vapor could disappear in 0.3ms welding time, and this feature will be more remarkable as decrease of heat input. It shows that the absorption of energy is unsteady. It is known that when this instability reaches a certain value, an unsteady weld will be formed.

Since thermocouple has an intrinsic disadvantage that its signal is very weak, many problems usually appear such as large noise and low temperature resolution when thermocouples are being used. Aiming this defect on thermocouple measurement, this paper proposes a solution of analog circuit design that provides the character of low noise and high SNR. This paper discusses the analog circuit design and calculation based on the S-type thermocouple which is often used for a very wide temperature range. This designed module can be applied to measurement instruments.

Dielectrophoresis (DEP) has been verified to be an efficient means of assembling carbon nanotubes (CNTs) for various applications. This paper simulates the electric field distribution of the quadruple electrode structure when the external AC voltage is applied between a pair of opposite electrodes. There exist induced electric potentials between high voltage electrodes and floating electrodes and thus floating electrodes seriously change the field distribution. For a pair of wide parallel electrodes, the deposition of one CNT bridging the electrode pair will greatly alter the local electric field and repel the further deposition of CNTs in the vicinity. The screening distance is relevant with the width of the electrode gap, which provides a way to estimate the density of assembled CNTs between the electrode pair.

Some tests including tensile test, bending test and shear test have been done to fibre-reinforced sandwich core boards which are ready applied to high speed train. Fibre laying craftwork is introduced in the paper and the test results show that the uniformity of fibre laying craftwork is good. The laying fibres have effective enhanced axial strength and modulus of fibre-reinforced sandwich core board. The reinforce influence degree to modulus is greater than strength.

In this paper we prepared electroless Ni-plated wood veneers using two Pa activation methods. One is the traditional Pa colloid activation and the other uses Pa2+ions. SEM-EDS results indicated that the coatings were continuous, uniform and compact with a P content of lower than 4 wt.%. XRD analysis showed that the coatings were crystalline, which was related to the low P content. The plated wood veneers exhibit good electro-conductivity with surface resistivity of lower than 0.3 Ω cm-2and higher electromagnetic shielding effectiveness of over 60 dB in frequencies from 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz.

Pyroshock responses of aerospace structures/systems are significantly important for design and valuation of space systems because it is a harsh environment for the systems, especially the electrical components. But the designers strongly rely on tests because, up to now, there have not been effective analytical and even numerical techniques for this problem. Fortunately, a number of researchers have been making efforts to build numerical techniques for structural responses prediction under this kind of special dynamic environments. This paper presents the techniques of time-history analysis, response spectrum analysis, statistical energy analysis and a synthetic technique composed of hydrocode analysis, time-domain finite element analysis (FEA) and statistical energy analysis. Further work and development trends are discussed in the end.

This paper analyzes the dialectical relationship between the hazards and risks to find out the common things of ways and methods to control them and then analyze and discuss several classification of sources of danger to propose specific ways and methods to management of coal hazards. On this basis, we design and develop appropriate management system of coal hazards, in order to achieve effective management of risks.

It is difficult to directly compress the raw data of synthetic aperture radar for its low relativity. In this paper, a new algorithm is put forward. Firstly range focusing is imposed to SAR raw data, which makes it have comparative high relativity, secondly a linear prediction is performed along the azimuth, lastly block adaptive quantization is used to the prediction difference series. The experiments manifest that with same bit rate, SQNR and SDNR of the algorithm proposed in this paper surpass that of BAQ algorithm. The calculation in this paper is far less than that of compression method after range focusing advised in corresponding reference.

This paper determined the total absorbance of phosphorus molybdenum blue and arsenic molybdenum blue by using the additive property of their absorbance values. By eliminating the interference of arsenic by reduction masking with composite reducing agent Na2SO3-Na2S2O3-KBr, the absorbance of phosphorus could be obtained. Thus, the content of phosphorus and arsenic could be calculated, respectively. The results show that the work curves of this method for phosphorus and arsenic are consistent with Beer’s law when the content of phosphorus and arsenic is 0-0.60ug/mL and 0-2.00ug/mL, respectively. The standard addition recovery rate of phosphorus and arsenic is 98.80%-101.04% and 99.00%-101.50%, respectively. The relative standard deviation of phosphorus and arsenic is less than 4.0% with good accuracy and precision. This method is simple and fast to determine phosphorus and arsenic in molybdenum concentrate, and the results are accurate and reliable.

Modified anaerobic-anoxic-aerobic (A2O) technology for dye wastewater was studied. The effects of Hydraulic retention times (HRT), sludge retention time (SRT) and carbon source on treatment efficiency were discussed. Scanning electron microscopes (SEM) for different sludge and UV-visible spectrum analysis for influent and effluent were investigated respectively. The results showed that when COD of influent was 600~1200 mg/L and the dye concentration was 20~40 mg/L, HRT had the obvious effect on treatment efficiency of modified A2O system. Total treatment efficiency of the improved system was more than 90% at the optimal HRT (29 h). The dye structure was demonstrated to be changed during the process. Finally, the dye and its intermediates were transformed and mineralized respectively.

PC1D software, which was developed by the University of New South Wales, has been used to simulate photovoltaic properties of crystalline semiconductor devices. The paper focuses on the simulation of silicon solar cell by PC1D. The simulation of silicon solar cell is carried out by setting up key parameters, which include device area, thickness, band gap, etc. Several important characteristics of silicon solar cells are obtained by simulation.

Starting from the present condition, the paper analyzed the changes happened after the introduction of modern computer-based multimedia technology in current education system across China. There is a sharp change in the relationship between the teacher and the students and there are also a lot of shifts in teaching methods, environments, requirements, objectives, assessments, etc caused by modern technology. Why there are so many changes? The paper answered from 3 perspective ways: physical environment, social environment, and spiritual needs. All of the three lead to the fundamental changes in a modern classroom instruction in China under the context of globalization. At last, the paper presents suggestions to optimize the ecology of tertiary education in China.

For the wind power grid voltage control problem, this paper proposed a reactive power and voltage control strategy by coordinate the wind farm reactive power source. Considering wind internal loss and the machine voltage deviation, established a optimal control model and a objective function, using the improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to solve the function, the control strategy can reduce the wind internal loss and stabilize the voltage of the machine on the basis of meet the requirements of PCC voltage. The example simulation proved the effectiveness and economy of the control strategy.

Improper design of grasslands highway curve is an important cause of accident, which research on is not mature. Drivers are the main body of grasslands highway traffic man-machine environment system. The paper aims at four sections of highway curve, using frequency domain analysis and grey correlation analysis method to study the relationship between driver’s HFnorm, LH/HF and the highway curves. Results indicate that it can not distinguish the effects of driver's sympathetic nerve, vagus nerve and the balance between them caused by different curves in statistical terms. In the monotonous landscape grasslands, increasing some curves of different radii appropriately in highway alignment design can relieve driver’s fatigue to a certain extent. Diversification of grasslands highway curve has a less influence on parasympathetic nerve of young drivers with long driving experience than that of old drivers with long driving experience. To ensure the driver’s autonomic nerve activity being at a reasonable state, it is more perfect to design grasslands highway horizontal and vertical curves combined with driver’s LF/HF indexes, and profile grade with driver’s HFnorm and LH/HF indexes. The results can offer part of theoretical support for thorough study on humanity of grasslands highway alignment.

In recent years, oil spill happens in river frequently, which has serious impact on the ecological environment and human health. So it is very important to conduct research on the pollution control technologies of oil spill in the river water. This paper analyzes the domestic and overseas existing oil spill pollution control technologies and puts forward the method combining oil recycling machine and oil dispersant to deal with the pollution caused by oil spill in Changqing Oilfield. Through the comparison, the turntable oil recycling machine and the SC-Y17 oil dispersant are finally selected. According to the experiment, we find that temperature has a great influence on the effect of oil dispersant and measures should be taken to improve the property to make it can adapt to the requirements of the low temperature environment.

On the basic of multiple populations of immune algorithm and clonal selectionalgorithm, the purpose of this paper is to further improve the detectionefficiency and reducing the false alarm rate. This paper uses the kddcup99 dataset as the experimental data set, and chooses four types of attack data groupof experiment data set as initial population of multiple populations of clonalselection algorithm, through the algorithm to create the optimal model. Basedon the principle of normal data larger than the abnormal data, in turn,experimental data set matched with the normal data set and the optimal model bythe improved R matching algorithm. The results of this paper show that thedetection rate increased significantly

Structural strain is one of the important parameters of representing structural health condition. Fiber-optic strain sensors have a number of inherent advantages, such as high sensitivity to external environment, small size, light weight, resistance to electromagnetic interference, ability for absolute measurement, superior stability, easy multiplexing and compatibility of being embedded in structures, etc.. In this paper, a novel strain monitoring method using optical fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor has been applied to the urban bridge cluster monitoring system, the principle, design and application in the structural health monitoring system are described, two years of normal operation has shown that this kind of strain monitoring and control method is feasible and useful.

The stress response of fracture trauma section has certain inertia and pure lag, conventional PID control can not obtain optimal stress control accuracy. In allusion to this problem, this paper proposes using fuzzy adaptive PID control, aims at the optimal physiological stimulation stress (Jorgensen curve) in the course of fracture healing, conducts real-time control to the fracture trauma section stress. According to the established fracture trauma system model, the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller has been designed, and conducts simulation research on real-time stress control in the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment. The simulation results show that the stress control accuracy of fuzzy self-adaptive PID control is obviously better than that of the classical PID control and classical fuzzy control, which can effectively control the stress of trauma section in fracture healing, to promote bone repair and bone growth towards the optimal level, and then to ensure the speed and quality of fracture healing.

This paper reports a review on the computational (finite element) software for creep damage analysis. Firstly, it summarizes the current state of how to obtain such computational capability then it concludes with a preference of in-house software. It further reviews the validation practice. Finally, it completes with an outlines of the approach to be used in the developing in-house FE software.

This paper mainly focuses on applying graphical method to figure out the working space of the new five joint folding arm supported pumper based on ADAMS. Firstly, discrete the included angle α between the third and the forth arm support, pick out several special points, work out the changing curve of the included angle β in the region of [0,180°] between the forth and the fifth arm support, and then get the plane track of the motion of spray gun by superposition of those curves and finally take the effect of turn angles of rotary tables into consideration, figure out the three-dimensional working space track of the spray gun by the superposition of plane track curves in the region of [0,360°].

In this paper, the authors analysed the impact of machine breakdowns in job shop scheduling problem with parallel machines. A mathematical model with the objective of minimizing the weighted value of makespan and early due date was established. An improved ant colony dynamic scheduling algorithm combined with elite strategy and max-min ant mechanism was designed. Simulation experiments were designed and numerical results verified the superiority of the proposed approach.

One of difficultest problem is to find these important features (namely, effective features) for intrusion detection system (IDS). In order to resolve the problem, a method is presented in the paper. The so-called important features are these features in which much information for IDS is provided. The information provided by a feature is measured by mean-squared error (namely, variance) of the feature. The correlativity between two features is measured by covariance. If the covariance is equal to zero, the two features are non-correlative. On condition that covariance is equal to zero, the new feature making the variance maximum is gained. The new feature is called first important features searched in the paper. In the same approach, the second, third … important features are gained. Tests show that the method developed in the article and IDS based on the important features sought in the method are useful and available.

The key of wavelet image threshold de-noising is the choice of the threshold function and the threshold value. To overcome the shortcomings of constant deviation existing between estimated wavelet coefficients and decomposition coefficients in the soft threshold function and discontinuity of the hard threshold function, a new threshold function based on wavelet shrinkage in image de-noising is presented in this paper. Threshold values of images with different edges and texture degrees are fine-tuned when the threshold value is set. Furthermore, a self-adaption optimal threshold which is fit to all scale levels is designed based on features of multiscale and multiresolution of wavelet transform. Simulation results show that the proposed methods are efficient to reduce the noise while preserving the detail information of the image.

Today, many organizations have realized an important of pre-development process in order to compete with competitor through drastically introduce new product in the market. In view of that, understanding critical factors that contribute to successful pre-development process implementation is becoming the more important. However, most of past studies were conducted in large organization, very little has been done in small and medium enterprise (SMEs). SMEs have certain limitation in terms of their financial, human, technical, and resources that could hinder their progress towards implementing pre-development process. This paper reviews and analyses CSFs developed by previous authors in order to propose a set of CSFs which were thought to be critical for SMEs. After that the questionnaire developed in this study will be analysis using factors analysis and reliability test in order to examine construct validity and reliability. An initial draft of the questionnaire was developed based on the literature. The questionnaire was pre-tested by academicians and industry practitioners. After that the questionnaire was piloted at 55 food and beverage manufacturing SMEs to check its reliability by using Cronbach’s alpha value. In addition, principle component analysis was carried out to test the construct validity. All the factors in the survey instrument had a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of more than 0.7 which may be considered satisfactory. Through factor analysis, all KMO values were found above acceptable value of 0.50. All Bartlett’s Test in this analysis was found to be significant. Therefore the instrument is valid and reliable and considered as satisfactory. Nine CSFs, which are believed suitable for SMEs have been proposed in this paper. Through systematic identification and validation, it is hope that the set of CSFs could be used as guides for SMEs to implement pre-development process successfully.

The optimized design and layout of diverse flood-discharge devices are of great importance for improving the security and reliability of the dams in hydro-power engineering and minimizing their impacts on the regional ecological environment in environmental engineering. In this paper, various kinds of surface and mid-level outlets configurations are compared under multiple operational conditions for the Baihetan hydro-power project. In addition, both the time-averaged and the instantaneous fluctuation impact-pressure distributions in the plunge pool under typical working conditions are measured and investigated in order to study the reasonability of different flood-discharge layout plans. Moreover, the complex hydrodynamic environment and the spatial evolution of time-averaged flow fields along the downstream river are surveyed and further analyzed. The results could serve as the foundation of selecting the optimal flood-discharge and energy-dissipation design, and, more generally, references for the regional ecological environment assessment for Jinsha River after the construction of Baihetan dam.

The 2D spectrum estimation based on uniform linear array is studied in this paper. MUSIC method is firstly introduced into array signal processing to realize the frequency and angle joint estimation. And the modified MUSIC method is then applied for two dim array signal processing to fulfill joint parameters estimation of coherent signal sources. The use of aluminium alloys rose in the last decade, as its specific mechanical properties allow a reduction of mass as for example in automotive. Moreover aluminium, due to its high corrosion resistance, is a very important material class in plant construction, where it is used for pipes or container till 250 °C. Aluminium can be welded with different technologies. Nowadays TIG and MIG are mainly used for example in plant construction or in mechanical engineering. Laser beam welding is a widely established technology in automotive. The advantage is the high energy concentration, which leads to a high welding speed and a narrow heat affected zone. Plasma welding is applied when joining aluminium with alternating current, as an easy removal of the oxide layer in the surface of the weld pool is possible. Plasma-Powder-Arc-Welding (PPAW) method has been developed from Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) weld surfacing and Plasma Arc Welding (PAW) methods by combining a small PAW torch (PAW is traditionally performed with wire as filler material) with powder filler material feeding as used in PTA-equipment. The coupling leads to a better mechanisation of the welding process as the consumable is fed directly through the welding torch. In this paper investigations on aluminium sheets (£ 2 mm) AA5xxx and AA6xxx using different powder materials are reported. The influence of the processing parameters and conditions on the process reliability, when welding with industrial robots butt and corner welds is investigated. Conventional PPAW of aluminium is performed with AlSi12 filler material. A post processing of the joint, as for example anodising in order to improve corrosion resistance, leads to a very different optical aspect, as the colouration of the weld seam after anodising differs from the base material. Thanks to a correct choice of filler material it is possible to reduce the colour differences between base materials/heat affected zone and bead, so that the weldment can be set for high quality optical applications, too.
