An epoxy resin/Al2O3 composite was prepared via a new type of process.The effects of Al2O3 content on the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the composite were investigated.It shows that the thermal conductivity of the epoxy resin/Al2O3 composite aggrandizes with the addition of aluminum oxide.As the content of Al2O3[removed info] is 30%,the thermal conductivity coefficient reaches 0.46W/m·K. Al2O3 particles can hinder the propagation of flaw or make crack change direction.and lead to generate scales flake and islands peak shape on the fracture surface when The thetensile fracture surfaces tested under the liquid nitrogen temperatures(77k). When the mass fraction of Al2O3 is 20%, the mechanics properties of the composite is better

A series of calcium silicate/rubber composites with different CaSiO3 contents was prepared. micro-morphology, vulcanizing properties and mechanical properties of CaSiO3/rubber were were characterized. It can be observed that mean particle size of CaSiO3 was 2.627 µm. The micro-morphology of particles were honeycomb structure on the particles of CaSiO3. As compared with NR, the least torque enhanced wtih increasing CaSiO3 content. Curing rate reduced with a rise of CaSiO3 content. The tensile strength and the elongation of composites was increased with increasing CaSiO3 content.

Abstract. With TiO2 as photocatalyst, hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) as oxidant, treated the coal chemical wastewater under the condition of 30W UV lamp irradiation. Discussed the effects of those factors—pH, dosage of TiO2 powder, dosage of FeCl3, dosage of H2O2 and illumination time etc. on Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD) removal rate of wastewater. The results have shown that: when taking the pH of raw water, TiO2 0.2g per 100ml wastewater, FeCl3 0.01g per 100ml wastewater, H2O2 1.2 ml per 100ml wastewater, 5h illumination time, quiet place 3h, acquired the best photocatalytic effect. After treated under the optimum technological conditions, the COD removal rate reached 70.09%; the removal rate of Biological Oxygen Demand(BOD5), ammonia nitrogen, cyanide and color reached respectively to 58.60%、39.99%, 72.41% and 90%. After repeated 10 times, all the active of TiO2 was almost lost. With the regeneration treatment by high-temperature cauterization, the regenerated catalyst was added into the raw wastewater. Then under the optimum technological conditions, after illuminated 7h, the COD removal rate of wastewater recovered to 49.47%.

High performance polybenzoxazine resin was obtained by introducing hyperbranched polyborate (HBPB) into bis-benzoxazine (B-BOZ) resin to overcome the shortcomings such as high curing temperature, low char yield and poor toughness of B-BOZ resin. By virtue of the massive functional end groups, hyperbranched and rigid boron-containing structures of HBPB, not only the curing temperature and the exotherm of B-BOZ resin are decreased, but also the thermal resistance, especially char yield, of B-BOZ resin can be greatly improved. Moreover, with the toughening effect of hyperbranched structures of HBPB, the mechanical properties such as flexural strength and interlaminar shear strength of the glass fiber reinforced B-BOZ composite could be greatly increased by HBPB without a decrease on modulus and glass transition temperature of B-BOZ resin.
