A core-shell composite polymer was produced by the method of high internal phase emulsion polymerization. The continuous phase of emulsion contained styrene(St), butyl methacrylate(BMA), octamethylcylotetrasiloxane(D4), and azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) which worked as an initiator. The block copolymers with St, BMA, D4 units are particularly promising for surface modification and hydrophobicity. The core-shell structure is proved by the use of Transmission electron microscopy (TEM). In addition, the water contact angle increased with the increasing weight ratio of D4. The results show that the concentrated emulsion system has good stability and the water resistance of the polymer has been improved greatly.

Microcrystalline Cellulose andHerba Sarcandraewere used to study the properties and relationship of powders before and after blending. The theoretical values of the physical quantities of the binary mixture were calculated based on the random mixing theory, The measured values of particle size specific surface area, pore volume and angle of repose of binary mixture had larger values than that of theoretical calculations. Whereas, tapped density and bulk density had a smaller value. The results suggested that the mixing behavior was not a complete random, arbitrary or simple superposition of the operation for coarse and sticky particles. The mixing process would create novel particles and physical quantities of novel particles exist regular changes.

Microcrystalline Cellulose and Sarcandrae extract powder were used to study the relationships of pharmaceutical properties of powders before and after mixing operation. The theoretical values of the physical quantities of the binary mixture were calculated based on the random mixing theory. The measured values of angle of repose, hygroscopicity of binary mixture were larger than that of theoretical calculations. The effective Kawakita a and b for the MCC had changed by mixing operation. The parameters of blend powder reduced compared with MCC except D-1. The results suggested that the mixing behavior was not a complete random or simple superposition operation for the rough and sticky particles. The mixing process would create novel particles and the physical quantities of novel particles would changes regularly.

Swine and canine influenza, which is acute viral respiratory infectious disease, can do great threat to the health of people and animals. What’s more, swine as an intermediate host for the transmission of avian influenza viruses to humans, it’s very important to supervise the epidemiological situation of swine influenza virus (SIV) infections all over the world. The major aim of this paper was to investigate the epidemiological situation of influenza A viruses in laboratory swine and dogs in shanghai and surrounding area from January 2010 to March 2011. There were 109 throat swabs collected from swine and 35 from dogs. Based on RT-PCR, we have got only one swine influenza virus-positive sample and none canine influenza virus-positive. In addition, this survey not only gives a data about the epidemiological situation of swine and canine influenza, but also provides a basis and guarantee for taking a timely and effective security measures.

Solid dispersions (SD) were prepared with naringenin and mannitol by the solvent evaporation method with three drying methods (vacuum drying, VD; microwave-vacuum drying, MVD; and spray drying, SPD). The SD was characterized by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Powder X-ray Diffractometry (PXRD), Scanning Electronic Microscope (SEM), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR).In vitrodissolution of naringenin and physical stability was investigated, and the energy consumption of different processing methods was measured. The results showed that the vitro dissolution rate and extent of naringenin was significantly improved by SD prepared with different drying methods compared to that of the pure drug and physical mixture (PM), and the dissolution rate of SD-SPD and SD-MVD was much higher than the SD-VD. The results of FT-IR showed that naringenin is possibly interacted with mannitol via intermolecular hydrogen bond; The PXRD showed that the crystallinity of the SD prepared with three drying methods was reduced sharply as compared with pure naringenin and PM. There results showed that the physical state of SD-MVD was more stable than SD-SPD and SD-VD that stored in the 40 °C/75% RH chamber in three month. Compared with other drying methods, the MVD method can save time and energy. These results suggest that MVD is feasible to replace the traditional time-consuming and low efficiency drying procedure for preparation of solid dispersions.

With an average diameter of 148-285 nm and a conductivity of 2.38E-2- 5.88 E-2S/cm, Nanoscaled polyaniline (PANI) were synthesized based on template-free method in the presence of dicarboxylic acids dopants (e.g., D-tartaric acid, Succinic acid, maleic acid and fumaric acid). Furthermore, the trans-cis isomerization of butenedioic acid plays an important role in the formation of nanostructures from plane-like to nanofibers, and PANI-MA has larger diameter, higher crystallinity and conductivity than PANI-FA.

In order to solve the problem that the tension measurement data of mine hoist wire-rope is inaccurate and the method of fault diagnosis of multi-rope hoist rope tension imbalance is non-standard, the systematic study of monitoring, forecasting and fault diagnosis of rope tension imbalance was made by using the principles of vibration wave method in mechanical dynamics. A set of new methods about monitoring, forecasting and fault diagnosis were developed, which the test method of hoist wire-rope tension based on inhomogeneous chord vibration and the methods for fault diagnosis of steel rope unbalance tension were described deeply. The vibration wave method was also used in these methods. The field test indicated that these methods were simple to operate and had higher accuracy and reliability.

A method of using polychromatic sets theory to define the multi-process routes is proposed to solve the problem of process decision-making during the manufacturing process of warm forming for projectile bodies. First, the description of feature-based information model and modeling method of projectile body parts are studied and then a process mathematical model including a contour comprising matrix and a polychromatic graph is established on polychromatic sets theory, last a search process of warm forming process path is given and an application example is also given in the paper.
