Strength properties and modulus characteristics were studied through laboratory experiment with different gradation types, different cement content of cement stabilized macadam. Test results show that, in the same conditions of aggregate types, the two important factors that influence cement stabilized macadam road performances are mixture types and cement content. With the improvement of the amount of cement, the mixture strength and modulus of resilience are growing; when we use a certain amount of cement, different types of cement gravel structure show different properties. And frame cement stabilized aggregate exhibit excellent road performance.

The freshness of red sea bream stored under 0°C was analyzed by physical methods, the indicators including the texture, color difference and water holding capacity. The hardness, springiness and cohesiveness showed fluctuant decrease during the storage of 21 days. All of them correlated negatively with the storage time (r=-0.61, -0.60 and-0.68, respectively). While the gumminess and chewiness did not show evident correlations with time. The values of resilience were decreased significantly with storage time (r=-0.81). The L* values kept increasing within the first 12 days of storage, and then decreased until the end of storage. The a* values decreased with the over time, while the increase of b* values were observed. The water holding capacity decreased within 9 days and then increased in the following 6 days. However, 15 days later, it decreased again. The results showed that the resilience, b* values and water holding capacity significantly correlated with the storage time.

A pipe segment system has been used to estimate its inherent resilience properties for the variation of mass flow rate, inlet temperature and inlet pressure. Superheated steam is taken as the process fluid. The magnitude of the resilience decreases from 927.8 kJ/m3s to 43 kJ/m3s and 31.5 kJ/m3s for variation of mass flow rate, inlet pressure and inlet temperature respectively. In this work, a novel methodology has been described for quantification of inherent system resilience and resilience magnitude has been found to be highest (927.8 kJ/m3s) in case of variation of mass flow rate through the pipe segment system. A useful correlation T = Ta(1-e-nL)+Tse-nL has been formulated for estimation of process fluid temperature, T at any pipe length, L.

Based on the horizontaldisplacements and loads of column at top end deduced according to sectionalbalanceable conditions at yield of high-strength frame columns, the lateralmaximum loads of column at top end calculated according to the Chinese currentconcrete code and involved regressive formulas, the resilience model ofhigh-strength concrete frame columns were established. The main results show:the resilience models of high-strength concrete frame columns proposed in thispaper consider influenced multi-facts and conveniently applied to engineering.

Factories have increased the mechanical equipment on a mass scale as a result of quick growth of global industry, and the unbearable sounds that machines create while operating become noise. Therefore, versatility of building materials that are highly correlated to human habitat has been gaining attention. This study combines and then needle-punches fire-retardant polyester (PET) fibers and recycled Kevlar selvages to make PET/Kevlar nonwoven fabrics, which are then combined with Polyurethane (PU) foams, a product yielded after Polyol and Isocyanate (MDI) foam and cure, to form PET/Kevlar/PU foam composite boards. During the process, PET fibers and Kevlar fibers are blended with various ratios and the density of the PU foams is varied. The resilience rate, burst strength, and sound absorption of the resulting composite boards are tested. The test results show that increasing Kevlar selvages can heighten the resilience rate but decreases the burst strength of the composite boards.

For purpose of saving energy and avoiding injuries, foam composite with excellent resilience property was successfully prepared consisting of inflame-retarding nonwoven, spacer fabric and PU/additive foam. Effects of foam density, additives (vermiculite, perlite) content and opening ratio of spacer fabric on resilience rate were explored respectively. Experimental result shows that 50 kg/m3foam density of PU foam had the lower resilience rate when containing 10 wt%-20 wt% vermiculites. Perlite P2 addition produced optimal resilience property comparing other types of additives in PU foam. Resilience rate decreased with increase of opening ratio of spacer fabric when containing 5 wt% additions.

In this study, two agents (a foaming agent and a hardener) are mixed to form rigid polyurethane (PU) foams with various densities, which are separately poured into a mold with a three-dimensional (3D) fabric to form 3D fabric/foam composites. The mechanical property and sound absorbency of the composites are examined. The experiment results show that an increasing density of the two-agent mixture results in a more compact PU foam, a 31 % increase in bursting strength, and a greater resilience, but also a decrease in the sound absorbency coefficient. In sum, variations in the density of the mixture have an impact on the physical properties of the fabric/foam composites, the derived results of which can thus be further applied to product designs.

Caisson is a commonly used foundation in modern bridge engineering. When the caisson is sinking towards the seabed, it will suffer from the coupled effects of wind, current and its mooring system, under which an intense horizontal oscillation might occur. The mechanism of this kind of oscillation can be concluded as Vortex Induced Motions (VIM) of a large floating object in resilience mooring system. In this paper, through numerical simulation of the viscous flow field around a certain caisson, the mechanism of vortex shedding under different current velocity is discussed.

The study about natural oils as processing aids in rubber was reported by several researchers for the past few years. The natural oils like rice bran oils, soybean oils, sunflower oils, vegetables oils and palm oils can be used as processing oils in rubber compounding [1-3]. These natural oils have been reported to have certain advantages compared to the petroleum based processing oils. In this study the potential of epoxidized palm oils (EPO) as additive and processing oils in carbon black filled styrene butadiene rubber was investigated. The main ingredients used were butadiene rubber (SBR), epoxidized palm oil (EPO) and carbon black. The vulcanized SBR rubber is then undergo several testing like swelling test, hardness and rebound resilience. An attempt was made to see whether the amount of EPO added to the SBR vulcanizates will affect the rebound resilience and swelling behaviour of the SBR vulcanizates. From this study, it was found that the compound contained higher EPO content tend to have lower rebound resilience, similar trend can be observed for hardness properties. While the crosslink density of the vulcanizates is decrease as the EPO content increases.

In this paper, hyper-elastic constitutive models of rubber material have been summed up based on constitutive relation and the Mooney-Rivlin model has been pay more attention. Then through the tension experimental test, data of sealing material under axial experimental are obtained, and M-R model parameters C10 and C01 are fitted by ANSYS. After obtaining the material parameters, compression deformation behavior and the distribution of stress field and resilience behavior of the seal ring are simulated by using ANSYS/LS-DYNA software under different loading conditions.

Five kinds of elastic knitted fabrics are purchased commercially for physical-mechanical properties testing, which including tensile properties, shearing properties, bending properties, compression properties and surface characteristics. Objective assessment the physical-mechanical properties of elastic knitted fabrics at its course and warp direction, respectively. And the influence of elastic fiber content on its properties is analyzed. The fabric with higher elastic fiber content has lower value in tensile force (F), elasticity modulus (E), shearing stiffness (G) and bending stiffness (B), also lower value in MIU, MMD and SMD, but higher value in tensile resilience (Re), compression linearity (LC) and compression energy (WC). The results will be the basic data for quantitatively analysis of relationship between physical-mechanical properties and performance of compression garment.

Progressive die has been widely used in product manufacturing field. This paper proposed a NX-based computer server support design method. The equivalent stress, resilience, equivalent strain, attenuation, and forming were analyzed in detail. The key technology of confirming blank dimension and stock layout of server support were explicated clearly.

By using GTM method, with equal volume parameters as the criterion, determined the suitable temperature of Evotherm warm-mix rubber-modified asphalt mixture, and applied Marshall method for repeated experiments, holding that GTM method could increase the cooling rate. Then, it firstly proposed a two-stage design method to conduct design of warm-mix rubber-modified asphalt mixture based on the two-parameter system; on the basis of hot-mix asphalt mixture test, it carried out staged design of asphalt content and temperature to ensure the pavement performance in terms of material composition and volume parameters. Finally, the paper conducted performance test of the designed warm-mix mixture and made comparative analysis of the corresponding hot-mix mixture. The results showed that the low and high temperature performances as well as the water damage resistant performance of Evotherm warm-mix rubber-modified asphalt mixture were superior than that of hot-mix mixture, and its compression resilience modulus was roughly equal to that of the hot-mix mixture, which would not affect the pavement structure design.

A wood residual fiber foaming cushion material was prepared by using gathered wood fiber as main raw material, starch/PVA adhesive as matrix, adding a certain amount of foaming agent and related additives, hot compression molding to shape up. This paper makes an investigation of single factor on the product’s surface quality and related mechanical property. Results show that with the amount of wood residual fiber increases, the rebound resilience of the product first increases then decreases. The density decreases along with the amount of foaming agent increases. The compression strength and compression modulus of the product increases along with the amount of wood residual fiber increases, it decreases along with the amount of foaming agent increases.

The hollow-triangle PA6 composite shaped fiber produced by high-speed spinning with semi-dull polyamide 6 chips was designed and developed in our lab. Both the morphological structure and the rebound resilience of the fiber were observed and analyzed. Meanwhile, the weak acid, neutral and disperse dyes were applied to in the dyeing test. The results showed that the hollow-triangle fiber had a high degree of profile and good bulkiness. Furthermore, the immediate elastic recovery and total elastic recovery rate of the fiber were large. When stretched by 5%, the immediate elastic deformation of this fiber was 86.4% and its elastic recover rate was up to 100%, which is obviously better than that of the general PA6 fiber. Besides, the dyeing ability of the hollow-triangle PA6 fiber was nearly the same as that of the general one when it was dyed with different dyes under the normal technical conditions.

The resilience of mattress foam has influenced on body pressure distribution characteristic of mattress and human comfort. This paper dealt with resilience of foam and body pressure distribution through resilience test instrument for mattress foam and body pressure distribution system. The results showed that the resilience of latex foam was better and the body pressure distribution of mattress with latex foam layer was better. This study results have important reference value to the flexibility of mattress and comfort design.

Based on analyses on mineral composition, mechanical property and hydrology property, large-scale triaxial shear test and vibration test were used to study the effect on strength and deformation characteristic, which was caused by wet-chemical and soften of the fillings. Then trial roadbed was filled with 3 typical rocks. Modulus of resilience on the top of the roadbed was gotten via a larger-diameter (D=75 cm) plate loading test which could provide important parameter for pavement structure design. Wet-chemical deformation is researched under constant load amount to deadweight of the roadbed. Experiment results show : (1)single-axle compressive strength (>15 MPa) and modulus of resilience (E0=91.7 MPa) of 3 fillings match the requirement according to specification; (2) these 3 rocks can be used as filling in roadbed; (3) as the fillings have wet-chemical, soften, and expansion properties, the suggestion of damp-proofing and drainage works should be adopted in construction.

A new RC frame multi-ribbed composite walls structure is provided by using low yield strength steel. Two calculating structures are analyzed which one is the RC frame shear wall structure used as a comparison, and the other is the RC frame multi-ribbed composite walls structure. The nonlinear earthquake responses of the structures are calculated by using program IDARC2D.The nonlinear dynamic analysis models of the structures are established with retrogressive three-linear resilience model for beam, column and RC shear wall elements, while a smooth hysteretic model is proposed for representing low yield strength steel panels. The nonlinear dynamic time-history analysis of the structures under horizontal earthquake waves has been carried out. The earthquake responses of the structures and energy dissipation are studied, which provide more data information for the comprehension of earthquake responses and seismic performance of the RC frame multi-ribbed composite walls structure. The calculating results show that the low yield strength steel panels have obvious seismic mitigation effects, and that RC frame multi-ribbed composite walls structure has good seismic capacity.

As an important structural member in Chinese timber structure system, Dougong has an excellent capability in earthquake resistance. Through low cyclic loading experiment of single Dougong, two Dougongs and four Dougongs, the degrading rule of lateral stiffness of Dougong was studied. According to that, the hysteresis curve and skeleton curve of force –displacement were researched and the formula of resilience model and mechanical model were established. The experiment data show that slippage is the main deformation of Dougong. Energy dissipation due to frictional slippage is an important reason for the excellent seismic behavior of ancient wooden structure. The shape of hysteretic loops of Dougong assumes to be parallelogram. Plump area of hysteretic loop accounts for its excellent energy dissipation performance. The mechanic model of Dougong belongs to linear strengthen elastic-plastic model. Both the fitting equation of force-displacement and resilience model reflect stiffness changes of Dougong. These basic theories provide a theoretical basis for the study on the seismic performance, repair and strengthening of ancient wooden structures.

Based on indoor compression test material of high liquid limit clay about Ji-He expressway,analyzed the relationship among compression modulus,compression coefficient,cuts modulus and resilience modulus of high liquid limit clay of the Yellow River alluvial plain with its moisture content and dry unit weight,and their changing rules.The results show that in a certain dry unit weight condition,free expansion ratio of high liquid limit clay is decreasing with the increasing of natural moisture content, however, in a certain moisture content condition,the free expansion ratio is increasing with increase of the dry unit weight.Compression modulus decreases along with the rising of moisture content,while increases to gether with the increasing of the dry unit weight.The compression coefficient increases with moisture content,while decreases together with the increasing of the dry unit weight.Cuts modulus reduces when moisture content goes up,certain as moisture content is, it is going to magnify along with the increasing of dry unit weight,when both dry unit weight and moisture content are constant,cuts modulus will increase with the pressure.In certain dry unit weight conditions, the resilience modulus decreases as the moisture content increases,by contrast in certain moisture content conditions,the resilience modulus increases with the increasing of the dry unit weight.

By means of analyzes the differences of mechanical properties between railway wagon with cold bending centre sill steel and common cold-formed steel, to study the differences resilience by different materials, final this given the forming principle and molding pass of cold bending centre sill. Analysis the stress state of the forming process of cold bending centre sill with multiAgent technology, establish corresponding Agent force model. In determining the basis of forming passes, then determining the deformation per passes and the amount of bended, furthermore realized the forming process of virtual in computer.

In order to investigate the pavement performance of cold recycling sulphur asphalt mixture with emulsified asphalt, freezing and thawing test, rutting test,shear test,bending test, fatigue test and compression test were carried out.Results showed emulsified asphalt cold recycling sulfur asphalt mixture possessed an excellent high temperature stability, as RAP content increased,the splitting and compressive strength,shear strength,compressive modulus of resilience,low temperature crack resistance,fatigue performance all gradually reduced.When sulphur content of asphalt mixture RAP is less than 70%, cold recycling sulfur asphalt mixture can meet the demand of road base; when the sulphur content of asphalt mixture RAP is less than 50%, the mixture can meet the demand of the bottom layer of asphalt pavement.

In order to ensure the high-speed railway train running safety and stabilization, the subgrade should keep adequate strength, rigidity and long-term stabilization under the repeated train load. When the subgrade soil is poor, we can treat it with cement. Whether the performance of cement-treated soil can meet the demand of high-speed railway, so the dynamic triaxial test of cement-treated soil is studied in this paper. The dynamic performance of cement-treated soil under repeated train load is analyzed. The variation and influence factors of critical dynamic stress, accumulated plastic strain, elastic strain and resilient module of cement-treated soil are studied.When the dynamical stress more than the critical dynamical stress, the cumulate plastic strain and the elastic strain will rapidly increase with the increase of the loading time of the dynamical stress. The resilience modulus will decrease along with the increase of the dynamical stress. When the dynamical stress less than the he critical dynamical stress, the elastic strain and the resilience modulus remain constant with the increase of the loading time of the dynamical stress. And the elastic strain and the resilience modulus linearly increase with the increase of the dynamical stress.

In this paper, the experimental method is adopted to study the mechanical performance of corroded high-strength steel bars. HRB400 and HRB500 with different diameters are corroded by electrifying accelerated corrosion in the laboratory, followed the tension test on these corroded bars with different corroded degree. The studying of the corrosion condition and mechanical performance of corroded high-strength steel bars lay the basic foundation for the analysis and research on their selection and relevant structural resilience which provide the reference basis for engineering practice.

The properties of hollow partition such as compression strength, impact resilience, hanging capability, sound insulation capability are investigated systematically. The results of experiment indicate that if the content of waste concrete was less than 70% the mechanical behavior of the partition is acceptable. When the content of wastes was appropriate the hollow partition precast with recycled concrete have good physical properties.

The resilience deformation rules laboratory test research of the soft soil in the Wuhan region in the unloading condition is done through modified triaxial compression apparatus .And the result shows:(1)the critical unloading ratios of the soft soil in Wuhan region is 0.28 and 0.91.No matter the unloading amount is, no resilience deformation is produced when the unloading ratio is smaller than 0.28 or larger than 0.91,and the resilience deformation is produced when the unloading ration is between 0.28 and 0.91.(2)The void ratio is related to the initial preloading ,the bigger the preloading, the smaller the void ratio, and the bigger the increasing of the void ratio after unloading; the smaller the initial preloading ,the bigger the void ratio, and the smaller the increasing of the void ratio after unloading.(3)The peak resilience rate is linear to the initial preloading.

This research paper presents an experimental investigation on the compression and compressive resilience properties of warp-knitted spacer fabric composites with different resin content and different kinds of resin. By means of hand roller coating technology, four kinds of warp-knitted spacer fabric composites were made. The experiments were tested according to GB/T1453-2005 and ISO3386/2:1984. It is shown that the resin content and resin type seriously affect the compression and compressive resilience properties of warp-knitted spacer fabric composite. The data indicated that when the warp-knitted spacer fabric composite coated with the same kind of resin, with increasing resin content the elastic modulus added and the compressive resilience decreased. Having the same resin content, the compression properties of pacer fabric composite increase with the increase of flexural strength of resin; while the compressive resilience decrease.

To evaluate the characteristics of semi-fixed abrasive plate (SAP), several parameters and relevant measurement methods are developed. The characteristic parameters include shore hardness, compression ratio, resilience ratio and shear strength. Five semi-fixed abrasive plates are manufactured with different bond concentration. The test results of five characteristic parameters of the SAP show the shore hardness, resilience ratio and shear strength increase, and compression ratio decreases with the bond concentration increasing. This test can provide instructive guides to the manufacture of SAP which can fit different occasions by changing the concentration of adhesives.
