Based on the proper Lyapunov functions and the Riccati liner inequality, the Robust H-stability of Hopfield neural networks with impulsive effects is studied and some sufficient conditions for robust H-stability are established, the impulsive stabilization criteria can be verified by the impulsive controller, simulation validate the main results.

This paper studies the influence of the intermediate annealing on deformation ability of the cold rolled ring. The results show that: intermediate annealing can improve the ability of plastic deformation of the cold rolled ring, ring rupture occurred after 62.5% thickness reduction, on the other side the ring suffering intermediate annealing still be intact by rolling to upon 64.8% thickness reduction. The mechanism of the intermediate annealing improving deformation ability of cold rolled ring is explored by using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, micro hardness tester and other materials characterization methods. It is found that after intermediate annealing, the amount of carbide particles significantly reduce and the hardness decrease. Meanwhile, dissolution of partial carbides occur during the cold ring rolling process, and with the increasing of the cold rolling deformation, the quantity of the dissolution of cementite in pearlite will increase, which resulting in the improvement of the deformability of the cold rolled ring.

Leakage detection of seawall is important for assessing seawalls present situation, appraisal and strengthening the protection and provide quantitative basis for project engineering management. These papers set forth the work principles of EM34-3 Type earth conductivity detector; and analyzed the detecting results of seawall located on Qiantang River. The research results show that the seawall safety grade is good, and this technology is suitable to assess seawall safety with a good reliability.

In this paper, neutral grounding mode, short-circuit failure and loss of excitation of marine integrated electric propulsion system are analyzed and summarized. Marine integrated electric propulsion system module is built in PSCAD/EMTDC. Diesel generator and its excitation module, permanent magnet synchronous propulsion motor and load module,inverter module is included in the system, Short-circuit failure and loss of excitation was added to the simulation system. The changing process of ship electric propulsion system failure is obtained.

This paper analyses the adaptability of anchor net support, based on the characteristics of coal roadway with water trickling and burst cracked roof, combined field research, coal and rock sampling and underground measures and test methods; by the application of waterproof anchoring agent, making the bolt, the anchorage force meet the design requirements, and ultimately determine the design parameters. Field trails in the headentry, and by analyzing the rock pressure monitoring data, field tests showed that the effect of supporting is good.

The Smoothed Particles Hydrodynamics (SPH) is a mesh-free interpolation method which is a recent numerical analysis technique. One example of water impact based on SPH is presented here, which aims at an accurate numerical simulation of Fluid-Structure Interaction(FSI) in free surface flow context. The example describes a rigid sphere impacting onto water, presenting the global impact behavior as well as comparing the impact coefficient with analytical and experimental results. The SPH method is proved to be a reliable and efficient numerical tool.

A new drop hammer was designed and used for multiple reference impact testing of two bridges. The drop hammer utilizes a multiple-rebound control system for successfully applying a single impact with repeatable high-level force for bridge testing. Signal analysis results indicate that the drop hammer provides a higher signal-noise ratio and a better coherence even when the response signals are subject to pollution due to traffic on the bridge. Modal flexibility was computed by using the impact data from the drop hammer, and meaningful deflected shapes could be generated demonstrating the potential of the envisioned structural assessment system.

The performance of native eggshell membrane in removing of Congo Red (CR) from aqueous solution was investigated. The effect of pH, adsorbent concentration, temperature, and contact time were performed by static testing. The maximum biosorption was both observed at pH 7.0 on the eggshell membrane. Optimal adsorption capacity (112.3 mg g-1) at initial concentration 10 mg L-1 and rate (99.17%) was obtained at pH 6.8. Characterization of the bioSuperscript textsorbent eggshell membrane was performed using scanning electron microscope (SEM), and Fourier transform-infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The kinetic and equilibrium studies suggest that the adsorption follows Langmuir isotherm model.

Experimental data was collected for structural identification (St-Id) of an old bridge: (1) static displacement and strain measurements taken under proof-load level, and; (2) multi-reference impact test (MRIT) data from one of the spans of a three span, cast-in-place reinforced concrete (RC) T-beam Bridge. MRIT was used to generate the modal data for computation of modal flexibility and displacement profiles. The St-Id procedure used during this application was designed to mitigate epistemic uncertainty in the data interpretation process. Successful results from MRIT demonstrated the reliability of applications for bridge condition assessment based on impact testing.

Research was done on the crosswind aerodynamic loads of three different front shape heavy-duty trucks by the method of numerical simulation. According to the research, the side force and the rolling moment of truck change slightly, but the drag and yawing moment changes dramatically when running in strong crosswind with different front shapes. The conclusions were drawn from discussion that the long head heavy-duty truck has the least yawing moment among the studied trucks so it has the best driving stability correspondingly.

With the rapid development of ubiquitous network and its applications, the key technologies of the Internet of things are actively researched all over the world. The Internet of things has tremendous attraction for adversaries, and it is easily attacked due to poor resource and non-perfect distribution of sensor nodes, then false data maybe be injected into network. Security is one of the most important demands for applications in the Internet of things, an algorithm of malicious nodes detection is proposed to protect the network from destruction based on weighted confidence filter, namely, the cluster heads take charge of collecting messages from nodes and computing their average of confidence in cluster-based network, then they aggregate data from nodes with higher confidence than average and ignore the others, they update confidence of each node by comparing the aggregation value and the received data, and regard it as the weight of exactness of message from node. A sensor node is judged to be a malicious one if its weight is lower than the set threshold. The simulation results show that the algorithm can detect malicious nodes with high detection ratio, low false alarm ratio and outstanding scalability.

Nitrogen and lanthanum co-doped nanocsystalline titania photocatalysts were prepared by a homogeneous precipitation-hydrothermal process. The photocatalytic activity of the prepared samples on photodegradation of rhodamine B in visible light irradiation was studied. The nitrogen and lanthanum co-doping could greatly improve the photocatalytic activity of titania in visible light irradiation, probablely due to a synergistic effect of co-doping. The nitrogen doping could narrow the band gap of titania and enhance the utilization efficiency of visible light, while the lanthanum doping could accelerate the separation of photo-generated electrons and holes. Furthermore, the lanthanum doping could increase the adsorption of organic pollutants on the surface of photocatalyst.

GFRP tube filled with steel-reinforced concrete composite column, GSRC, is a new kind of composite column, in which the (shaped steel) reinforcing steel bar is set and the concrete is poured into GFRP tube. Under the action of eccentric loading, the damage signs of the composite columns with smaller and larger eccentricity were respectively that GFRP tube of compressive zone was crushed and the fiber of GFRP tube of tensional zone was ruptured. The tight hoop effect of the concrete given by GFRP tube only existed in compressive zone, and the restriction to the concrete of tensile zone was unobvious. The shaped steel inside GFRP tube had a positive effect on the bending rigidity and the bearing capacity of the member. Using the limit equilibrium theory, the calculation formula of the bearing capacity of GSRC subjected to eccentric loading was created. The calculated results agreed well with the experimental ones.

The recent development of Doppler radar sensor has allowed to study the typhoon wind structure more accuracy and systematic. In order to obtain more wind data near typhoon eye-wall, vehicular Doppler radar emerge as the times require. Based on two typhoon observed results carried out by vehicular Doppler radar in category A terrain, firstly the 10min mean wind profiles under 1000m height in different regions of typhoon were analyzed. The typhoon mean wind speeds increase a logarithmic law with height at nearly lower two hundred meters in all regions of typhoons. Using the power law to fit wind profiles, the exponential index α in pre-eye-wall region is greater than it in post-eye-wall region, and it decreases with increasing the mean wind speed. Secondly, based on analyzing the relationship between mean wind speed and wind ratio, the calculation formula for nominal gradient height were established in category A terrain. Finally introducing the probability method to study the mean wind profile, the exponential index α was established in category A terrain.

The optimal mixing time, washing temperature, liquid/solid mass rate were determined based upon residual oil rate.
