In view of the seriously drought and the condition that the water level in Changsha reach continuously break the historical lowest records in recent years, the variation law of low water level in Changsha reach and the impact of the Three Gorges Projects operation on low water level were studied. The results show that the water level in the same discharge and the monthly averaged water level and the lowest water level all decrease year by year, and the appearance time of the lowest water level in recent years is earlier. The lowest water level in Changsha reach isnt much connected with the variation of water level in Dongting lake, but connected with the riverbed undercutting caused by the operation of hydro-junction and the excavation of sand. The appearance time advance of the lowest water level is connected with the Three Gorges Projects operation.

Central air conditioning system with multi variable, nonlinear, time-varying, large time-delay characteristics using the traditional control strategy is difficult to control and good energy saving effect. For these features of central air conditioning system, self-adjustment fuzzy controller is studied based on the fuzzy controller. The simulation can be seen, the self-adjustment fuzzy controller has a faster response speed and smaller steady-state error, while there is a certain adaptive capacity. Its control performance is superior to conventional control strategies and conventional fuzzy controller. Central air-conditioning system uses the parameter self-adjusting fuzzy controller strategy combined with inverter technology. According to load changes, central air conditioning water system can automatically real-timely control the pumps to ensure that the comfort of central air-conditioning provided a significant reduction in energy consumption.

Recently, noble metal nanoparticles (Au or Ag NPs) decorated graphene (GE) sheets are used as good surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates for detection of molecules. Ultrathin GE film covered by Ag NPs has been designed for the SERS substrate in this paper. The films were prepared firstly by dip-coating method with graphene oxide (GO) and AgNO3 or Ag NPs colloid as raw materials and secondly reduced by thermal annealing at 600 °C in H2/Ar atmosphere. The structure and SERS activity of the obtained films have been investigated in detail. Results indicated that Ag NPs can be decorated on graphene sheets through the electrostatic adsorption between the GO sheets and positively charged Ag+ or Ag NPs. Compared with the film obtained with AgNO3, Ag NPs/GE film prepared with Ag NPs colloid showed the higher SERS sensitivity with rhodamine 6G (R6G) as the probing molecules, the enhanced factor for 1×10-5 M of R6G adsorbed on the surface of Ag NPs/GE substrate is about 9.1×107.

Water solution of organic amine is used widely for removing acid gases, especially for CO2. Some water solution of amines have the property of thermally induced phase transition at the temperature of cloud point at which the solution becomes turbid. The energy consumption could be reduced with the assistance of phase transition during the process of desorption. Therefore, it is important to discover the relationship between absorption and desorption capacity of amines and its property of thermally induced phase transition. In this work, hexylamine with the property of phase transition at cloud point and butylamine without the property were selected to perform the comparative experiment of CO2absorption and desorption at 30-100°C. Results show that 40% water solution of hexylamine and butylamine have similar CO2absorption capacity, and the change of CO2absorption capacity of hexylamine at cloud point is not obvious. Thus it is concluded that the property of thermally induced phase transition of hexylamine would not increase its CO2absorption capacity.

Data deduplication technology applied in solid state disks (SSD), can reduce the amount of write operations and garbage collection, and thus improve writing performance and prolong lifetime. With the significant increase of write performance onto SSD, whether deduplication based on SSD could be a performance bottleneck of SSD comes to a spot worthy of our attention. To this end, this paper, firstly, performs an experiment on achieving deduplication via software method, and reveals that software-based deduplication decreases SSD's read and write performance. And then a hardware-based deduplication with details is proposed and implemented to accelerate deduplication using FPGA, and expected results are achieved. Finally, we come to the conclusion that hardware-based deduplication can not only guarantee read and write performance of SSD, but also save storage capacity and enhance endurance.

This paper presents a SOA and cloud computing based architecture for the distributed simulation of advanced flight management system (FMS). The architecture is designed to facilitate the fast simulation, validation and evaluation of different FMS system designs and functionalities with customized system configurations and widely varying aircraft equipage levels under various operation conditions. It is also intended to accommodate the potential evolutionary extensions of new avionics concepts and functionalities such as the future CNS/ATM and 4-D trajectory based technologies. To address the requirements of flexibility, scalability and reusability, the design of the simulation architecture takes advantage of the cloud computing and service oriented architecture (SOA) and the key enabling technologies are developed: simulation unit service encapsulation, simulation agent technology and simulation orchestration. Based on the proposed architecture associated technologies, the simulation components are encapsulated as services or accessed through agents, and the configuration of different FMS system frameworks and simulation tasks can be achieved through simulation orchestration. A prototype avionic simulation system that implements the SOA/cloud computing architecture is developed and illustrated with application cases. The applications demonstrate that the proposed architecture enables fast and scalable simulation of both existing and new FMS design and technologies.

Blind source separation provides a new method for the separation of mechanical sources under high level background noise, as well as the diagnosis of the compound fault. At present, the blind source separation has been successfully applied to the mecanical fault diagnosis. But the traditional mechanical source separation methods are restricted to non-gauss, stationary and mutually independent source signals. However, the mechanical fault signals do not suffice to these conditions, and generally exhibit non-stationarity and non-independence. For the non-stationary signal, its spectral feature is time-varying. Thus only the time-domain or frequency-domain analysis is not sufficient to describe the characteristics of non-stationary signal. The time-frequency analysis, which can provide the information about that the spectrum of the signal varies with the time, is a useful tool for non-stationary signal analysis. In this paper, combined time-frequency analysis with blind source separation, a blind source separation method for the non-stationary signal of the mechanical equipment based on time-frequency analysis is proposed and studied. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed approach is feasible and effective.

This paper is concerned with the milling instability of spindle-ball bearing milling system. The finite-element analyzes is adopted. It is verified that there existed close relationships between the vibration response and the milling instability contributed by the same spindle mode. The spindle mode, which excites the maximum peak spectrum value, will produce the milling instability most likely. The front bearing preload has much more remarkable influences on spindle modes and milling stability than the rear one. It is therefore very important to adjust the front bearing preload according to the actual processing situations and stability demands in the spindle system design stage.

Against to the multi-roots problem existed in Heydemann method for calibration of sinusoidal signals, a new approach containing two procedures is proposed. Firstly, the dc offsets and amplitude deviations of sinusodial signals were estimated by two observers separately. Then, to accept the non-orthogonal phase shift in the sinusodial signals, a simple Heydemann method with only two variables was adopted. Simulation results show that this method is feasible, and can converge to the origin with high accuracy. This method will show great values in the field of calibration of sinusoidal encoder signals.

On the bases of theoretic analysis, numerical simulation, and project practice, stress distribution of surrounding rock and movement characteristics of roof strata in T-junction area of gob-side entry were analyzed. Besides, control technology in T-junction area was proposed after indicating deformation characteristics of different stages in gob-side entry. Results show that there is an inclined block in T-junction area after fracture of main roof and the period when the block is tending to stability is a critical stage of pressure appearance for gob-side entry. Further, three stress zones: in-situ stress zone, abutment pressure zone and low stress zone appear in both strike and dip of mining panel and enhanced support of gob-side entry before excavation should keep away from the abutment pressure zone, which also indicates that deep bolting support can exert the bearing capacity of deep rock mass. Additionally, the whole procedure of surrounding rock deformation can be divided into four stages and deformation in gob-side entry is larger than that of entry excavation, which means that efficient support design should be taken into account. Ultimately, district control technologies for surrounding rock of gob-side entry in back zone, filling zone, and front zone are proposed and it showed a good adaption in project practice of coalmine.

Aroma compounds from the Maillard reaction of the l-ascorbic acid and l-methionine system were investigated. The mixture was heated while stirring at 142±2°C for 2 h in an oil bath at five different pH values (5, 6, 7, 8, or 9). Analysis of the reaction mixture was performed by headspace-SPME–GC–MS technique, and further use of LRI. 27 Components, comprising 11 pyrazines, 5 thiophenes, 6 aliphatic S compounds, 4 furans (non-S-containing) and 1 phenol, were identified. The studies showed that furans (non-S-containing), 4-hydroxybenzo[b]thiophene and 2,3,5-trithiahexane were formed mainly at acidic pH. In contrast, higher pH values could promote the production of pyrazines, acylthiophenes, 2-(isopropylthio)thiophene, methyl butanedithioate and 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol. The effect of pH on the formation of other compounds did not follow a consistent pattern.

Location Entity Recognition (LER) is an important part in Named Entity Recognition (NER), and it is a significant research topic in this domain to use the abundant unlabeled corpus to improve recognition performance. A new method combined Active Learning with Self-Training is proposed, which selects samples based on confidence and 2-Gram frequency, and expands the training set by annotating the unlabeled corpus manually and automatically. The experiments reveal that the F-measure of this method is 8% higher than randomized Active Learning while the annotation is only 1/3 of the latter. And using this method, only 5% of characters in the extended training set need to be labeled to acquire a similar performance with complete manual annotation.

This paper studies management and coordination problems of electric vehicle battery supply chain based on old for new selling strategies. Closed-loop supply chain is widely applied in electric vehicle remanufacturable battery industry. Two channels of battery recycling are considered, which are recycling station channel and retailer channel. Recycling battery in recycling station channel is discarded battery, which is low value and high cost to remanufacturing, while recycling battery in retailer channel is used battery, which is good condition and low cost to remanufacturing but high collecting cost. The mathematical models based on Stackelberg model are established and prove that the old for new selling strategies is Pareto improvement, which increase profit both of supplier and retailer and enlarge the scale of market.

The paper is researched the main applications of micro-electrolysis enhanced by united advanced oxidation processes (UAOPs): O3/UV/Fe (OUF) and micro-wave/Fenton (MWF). Better removal efficiency was found in O3/UV/Fe3+ (OUFIII) METs than O3/UV/Fe2+ (OUFII) METs in the same pH conditions. In acid condition, the best degradation rate 44.7% could be achieved in the whole study. However, a 37.3% decrease in TOC was observed in basic condition. An inflexion point was observed at 2 hour at different dosages of H2O2 by MWF METs, which were probably caused by the branched chains cleavage from the s-triazine ring. With H2O2 dosage of 10% and a hydraulic retention time (HRT) equals to 5 hours, a best deduction of 26.5% was observed. Nevertheless, it is suggested OUFIII technology was found to be the optimum enhanced METs for the treatment of s-triazine wastewater.

This paper presents the Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE) approach for usability testing of a web-site based on ISO 9241-11 usability guidance to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. Usability testing is a technique used to evaluate a product by testing it on users. A particular type of website i.e. university web site was chosen and segmented in different components in modular forms according to the purpose of that component. Then component wise tasks as per ISO 9241-11 usability guidance were prepared to carry out the usability testing for evaluating the test web-site. After analyzing the results of component based usability testing, a proto-type version of the test web-site was designed in a limited form including all the feedback of test results. Finally, the proto-type web-site was re-evaluated for establishing the effectiveness of component based web usability method with the same tasks. The proposed component based usability testing method is expected to improve the design/content issues of web-site resulting the web-site much more user friendly, effective and less time and cost consuming.
