In this paper, we mainly address the problem of tracking a single ship in inland waterway CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) video sequences. Although state-of-the-art performance has been demonstrated in TLD (Tracking-Learning-Detection) visual tracking, it is still challenging to perform long-term robust ship tracking due to factors such as cluttered background, scale change, partial or full occlusion and so forth. In this work, we focus on tracking a single ship when it suffers occlusion. To accomplish this goal, an effective Kalman filter is adopted to construct a novel online model to adapt to the rapid ship appearance change caused by occlusion. Experimental results on numerous inland waterway CCTV video sequences demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the original one.

On the grassland highway, the driver is prone to muscle fatigue because of the particularity of its landscape and the linear structure. And vehicle operating system leads to different degree of muscle fatigue. In order to explore the pilot fatigue characteristics in grassland under different operation conversion highway, put forward the fatigue improve measures and improving the quality of driving, I use the real driving test. In this paper, we study the manual and automatic driver’s shoulder muscle fatigue with method of frequency domain analysis through testing the driver, obtaining MF of trapezius muscle in static measurement and the surface electronical signal of the trapezius muscle after 110 minutes’ driving. We devide the drivers into 2 groups (5 drivers in manual group, 5 drivers in automatic group). The results show that the automatic driver’s MF has significantly negative correlation (P =- 0.521) before and after the static test, which suggests automatic driver will be afflicted with shoulder muscle fatigue; The manual drive’s MF before and after the test tends to decrease with time (SlopeMS =- 0.0076, SlopeMD =- 0.0582), which suggests that after test, drivers in manual group are in the right shoulder fatigue, and before test, the decline of MF shows the drivers’ fatigue accumulation. After test, MF of manual and automatic group increases (SlopeAD =- 0.01, SlopeMD =- 0.058), which shows that driving on grassland highway can lead to the driver’s muscle fatigue with the extension of time; and vehicle operating system leads to different degree of muscle fatigue.

Based on Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) theory, we present a method to analyze the electroencephalogram (EEG) signal of right and left hand motor imagery. Firstly, EMD method decomposed EEG signal into a group of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs). The first three IMFs were extracted to denoise. We adopt endpoint Mirror Extension method to relieve the influence on subsequent processing brought by endpoint effect. According to the Hilbert transform, we can obtain the time-frequency distribution. The energy of the first three components is selected as the input of SVM. The results show that EMD is an efficient method to analyze the EEG signal. The proposed method obtains an ideal recognition rate.

Hypersonic aircrafts are facing increasingly severe aerodynamic heating, noise and so on, which will lead to nonlinear vibration characteristics for thin-walled structures of hypersonic aircrafts. Considering the influence of thermo-acoustic loadings, finite element formulation of simply supported plate under combined thermo-acoustic loadings are founded, and vibration characteristics of simply supported plate under thermal loadings with temperature gradient and random acoustic loadings are investigated. According to finite element numerical method, modal frequencies, critical thermal buckling temperature difference, dynamic stress response of simply supported plates with temperature gradient under combined thermo-acoustic loadings were calculated before and after thermal buckling. The results show that three types of motion: random vibrations around initial equilibrium position in pre-buckling region, snap-through oscillations between two post-buckling equilibrium positions, nonlinear vibrations around one of the two post-buckling equilibrium position, and The RMS of nodes for different locations of the simply plate are obtained in pre-buckling post-buckling region, and it is shown that different interaction of tensile bend stress, compressive stress and compressive thermal stress lead to different RMS trends.

Precious metals are used widely in electronic industry because of their excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance and catalytic property. Therefore it is important to recycle precious metals from E-waste. In this study, a new amid extractant N,N-Dimethyl-N,N-didecyl-3-thiopentanediamide (MDTDGA) was firstly synthesized through N-alkylated and N-acylation reaction. The extraction behavior of precious metals with MDTDGA in 80% dodecane-20% 2-ethylhexanol from hydrochloric acid was studied. The extraction ration increases with HCl concentration and extractant concentration, but it is not influenced by H+ concentration. It is indicated that the extraction of precious metals Pd (II), Pt (IV), Au (III) with MDTDGA is neutral coordination. High extraction efficiency of Au (III) of 99.5% using MDTDGA was obtained.

Three-dimensional (3D) mesoporous bioactive glass (MBG) scaffolds were obtained by using the demineralized bone matrix (DBM) and P123 as co-templates through a dip-coating method followed by evaporation induced self-assembly (EISA) process. 3D mesoporous bioactive glass-silk fibroin (MBG/SF) composite scaffolds were prepared by immersing MBG scaffolds into SF solutions with different concentration. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), field mission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WA-XRD) were used to analyze the inner pore structures, pore sizes, morphologies and composition of the scaffolds. The in vitro bioactivity of the scaffolds was evaluated by soaking in simulated body fluid (SBF). The results showed that the MBG and MBG/SF composite scaffolds with the interconnected macroporous network and mesoporous walls could be obtained by this method. In addition, both the MBG scaffolds and the MBG/SF composite scaffolds have excellent apatite-forming bioactivity. Therefore, this method provides a simple way to prepare scaffolds for bone tissue engineering.

Improper design of grasslands highway curve is an important cause of accident, which research on is not mature. Drivers are the main body of grasslands highway traffic man-machine environment system. The paper aims at four sections of highway curve, using frequency domain analysis and grey correlation analysis method to study the relationship between driver’s HFnorm, LH/HF and the highway curves. Results indicate that it can not distinguish the effects of driver's sympathetic nerve, vagus nerve and the balance between them caused by different curves in statistical terms. In the monotonous landscape grasslands, increasing some curves of different radii appropriately in highway alignment design can relieve driver’s fatigue to a certain extent. Diversification of grasslands highway curve has a less influence on parasympathetic nerve of young drivers with long driving experience than that of old drivers with long driving experience. To ensure the driver’s autonomic nerve activity being at a reasonable state, it is more perfect to design grasslands highway horizontal and vertical curves combined with driver’s LF/HF indexes, and profile grade with driver’s HFnorm and LH/HF indexes. The results can offer part of theoretical support for thorough study on humanity of grasslands highway alignment.

In this paper, the basic principles of the surface acoustic wave (SAW) formed in the periodically poled piezoelectric ceramic has been elaborated theoretically. The modal and harmonic analyses has been performed by utilizing ANSYS software for the periodically poled piezoelectric composite structure (adjacent piezoelectric polarization direction opposite) which composed by piezoelectric ceramic (PZT-4). The data of simulation result have been processed and obtained the following conclusion: the surface wave can be formed in the periodically poled piezoelectric domain with a relatively large amplitude, the motion track of each particle in the SAW is an ellipse by combined the transverse modal displacement and longitudinal modal displacement of each surface node. These conclusions are same as the theoretical values, the simulation results are very useful for designing SAW device with periodically poled piezoelectric ceramic.

In this study, pressure drop across a novel CFB riser integrated with an enlarged bottom section was investigated under various operating conditions. Experimental results indicated that total pressure drop was much higher across the riser with larger diameter-enlarged section dimensions, consequently, resulting in lower solids circulation rate realizable in the riser. Based on the measured pressure drop across this novel riser, apparent solids concentrations of the diameter-enlarged section and the conveying section were obtained. Furthermore, empirical correlations for estimating overall average solids concentration in these two sections were established, respectively. And a satisfactory agreement between predictions and experimental results was observed.

The silicone rubber composites filled with various contents of alumina (Al2O3) microparticles were prepared by the solution mixing process. The fractured surface morphology, thermal diffusivity and dielectric property of the composites were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the laser flash thermal diffusivity analyzer, a LCR digital meter and a resistor tester, respectively. The results show that with Al2O3 content increasing from 8 vol. % to 35 vol. %, the thermal diffusivity increases from 0.13 mm2/s to 0.31 mm2/s, while the dielectric property reduces slightly. At a given Al2O3 content, the thermal diffusivity of the composites exhibits a reduction tendency with the increasing temperature. The Nielsen model is generally suitable to predict the thermal diffusivity of the composites.

The analysis process for the linear coupled vibration of a circular container and its inner liquid often uses FEM method. An equation set which contained the fluid node pressure and the structure node displacement was formed, based on these equations, in this paper, a new equation set which has a smaller dimension and symmetrical form is obtained by the method of model reduction and coordinate symmetrization. By solving the boundary value problems of equivalent Laplace formulas, the additional masses matrix, additional stiffness matrix and coupling matrix which have effect from fluid to structure are gained. The example of the modal analysis for liquid container demonstrates that this method presented in this paper can get the modal frequency accurately and rapidly in fluid-structure coupled vibration system and other similar engineering realm.

We reported the preparation of surface modified poly (ethylene oxide terephthalate) - poly (butylene terephthalate) membrane by the method of silk fibroin anchoring, namely SF/(PEOT/PBT). Its surface properties were characterized by contact angles and XPS and the biocompatibility of the composite membrane was further evaluated by human salivary epithelial cells (HSG cells) growth in vitro. Results revealed that SF/(PEOT/PBT) possessed the low water contact angle (48.0±3.0°) and immobilized a great amount of fibroin (fibroin surface coverage: 26.39 wt%), which attributed to the formation of polar groups such as hydrosulfide group, sulfonic group, carboxyl and carbonyl ones in the process of SO2 plasma treatment. HSG cells growth in vitro indicated that the silk fibroin anchoring could significantly enhance the biocompatibility of PEOT/PBT membrane, which suggested the potential application of fibroin anchoring PEOT/PBT for clinical HSG cells transplantation in the artificial salivary gland construct.

The analysis processing for the linear coupled vibration of a flume and its inner fluid often uses FEM method. An equation set which contained the fluid node pressure and the structure node displacement is formed, based on this equation, reduction form and symmetry form is used to get the same modal frequency. Computers can calculate out the frequency more rapidly by a smaller control equation. According to the frequency comparison of different fluid-structure coupled vibration system with different materials, this paper draws some conclusions on the influence of material properties on modal characteristics for fluid-structure coupled vibration system.
