The tradition way of open pit mine design just takes the operating and capital costs into account while the ecological costs of mining to ecological environment is not a concern at all. For this concept, based on the mine ecological footprint and eco-cost models which have been built by author, the ecological cost allocation models which take mining, stripping and ore dressing as incentive are built. It contains allocation models of unit mining ecological costs, stripping ecological costs and ore processing ecological costs. Moving cone elimination algorithm and iteration method is used for a open pit metal mine to optimize ultimate pit. The studies show that the pit optimization which contains ecological costs has a great impact on the ultimate pit. Compared to the pit optimization with an end treatment, ecological costs are contained in the pit design is better for either economy or environment.

On the basic of deeply analyzing the characteristic of circulation economy power system with high penetration of wind power, and researching the model and transient characteristics of DFIG, the problem on transient stability of circulation economy power grid was given through simulating and analyzing the huolinhe circulation economy demonstration project on wind power consumed in the local in the paper. At last, an optimal control strategy of wind turbine based on circulation economy power system with high penetration of wind power was proposed.

Based on Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) theory, we present a method to analyze the electroencephalogram (EEG) signal of right and left hand motor imagery. Firstly, EMD method decomposed EEG signal into a group of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs). The first three IMFs were extracted to denoise. We adopt endpoint Mirror Extension method to relieve the influence on subsequent processing brought by endpoint effect. According to the Hilbert transform, we can obtain the time-frequency distribution. The energy of the first three components is selected as the input of SVM. The results show that EMD is an efficient method to analyze the EEG signal. The proposed method obtains an ideal recognition rate.

The Mo mineralization of the Kayizi deposit occurs in the edge of a granodiorite intrusion, and consists of two mineral belts, in which the biggest ore body is 400 m long and 140 m wide. The ore is dominated by disseminated and spot-like molybdenite, with its grade of 0.04%~1.53%, and some up to 10%~15%. The country rock alteration displays distinctive porphyry deposit alteration assemblages, including K-feldspathisation, pyrite-sericitization, and propylition. The petrochemical of the Mo-bearing granodiorites suggests the petrogenesis associated with subduction. The Re-Os model ages of 254.4±1.9 Ma, 257.0±3.4 Ma, and 258.5±2.0 Ma, yielded from three molybdenites, support that the mineralization occurred in the late Permian, whilst the deposit was tectonically in the late Paleozoic rift basin. Therefore, we considered in this paper that the Kayizi porphyry Mo deposit may have been formed as a result of the paleo Tethys subduction to the Tarim plate.

Industrially the epoxidation of soybean oil utilize peracids as oxidizing agents together with strong mineral acids as catalyst. To avoid the corrosive waste and undesirable epoxy-ring opening as well as polymerization under acidic conditions, new green catalytic processes in acid-free system have been paid great attentions in recent years. In this paper, MoO3/Al2O3 simply prepared by impregnation method and mesoporous TS-1 prepared by one-pot hydrothermal method were evaluated as catalysts for the epoxidation of soybean oil with tert-butyl hydroperoxide. Orthogonal experiment design was used to optimize the reaction conditions for MoO3/Al2O3 and the optimized conditions are as reaction temperature of 80°C, reaction time of 4h, the ratio of double bond to TBHP of 1:1.4, and the ratio of Ti to double bond of 1%. Higher than 55.8% of selectivity would be obtained. The synthesized meso-TS-1 displayed worse performance than expected result, only 27.6% of epoxy selectivity at conversion of 38.7%.

Temperature dependence of photoluminescence (PL) and time resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) were obtained by two experimental systems. The relative intensity and peak position of PL show S-shift variation with increasing temperature, which may result from temperature induce carriers redistribution. Fast decay time and slow decay time were fitted by double exponential function from decay curves of TRPL at different emission energy, and the decreasing trend of both fast decay and slow decay time with increasing photon energy is attributed to various channels of recombination in shallow and deep localized states.

In order to overcome the disadvantage of low accuracy for traditional rainfall monitoring technologies, and solve the problems in real-time data acquisition, automatic processing and remote transmission for the existing meteorological observation, we design a new rainfall monitoring device based on fiber grating technology, which has such advantages as real-time capability, high sensitivity, high accuracy, unattended operation and can fairly meets the present requirements of meteorological observation.

The sensitivity of various features that are characteristics of machine performance may vary significantly under different working conditions. Thus it is critical to devise a systematic feature extraction (FE) approach that provides a useful and automatic guidance on using the most effective features for machine performance recognition without human intervention. This paper proposes a locality preserving projection (LPP)-based FE approach for machine performance degradation recognition. Different from principal component analysis (PCA) that aims to discover the global structure of the Euclidean space, LPP is capable to discover local structure of the data manifold. This may enable LPP to find more meaningful low-dimensional information hidden in the high-dimensional observations compared with PCA. This experimental result on a bearing test-bed shows that LPP-based FE improves the performance of recognizers for identifying performance degradation of bearings.

A dynamic sequencing method has been developed that can simultaneously optimize the final pit and the production schedule of an open-pit coal mine. The method first establishes a geological seam model of a bedded coal deposit which estimates the relevant attributes of coal seams at the center of each block on the X-Y plane. Based on the seam model, a sequence of “geologically optimum final pits” is generated and, in each of these pits, a sequence of “geologically optimum push-backs” is generated. The geologically optimum push-backs are then put into a dynamic programming scheme and the best production schedule which has the highest NPV is obtained for each final pit. After the best production schedules for all the final pits are obtained, the one with the highest overall NPV is the optimum final pit and its associated best schedule is the overall best production schedule.

We design and realize a testing and analyzing tool for performance of image compression algorithms. This tool can test and analyze compression algorithms and generate kinds of analysis chart automatically, provides a lot of convenience for users and has very important practical value.

This paper focusing on the crack at hole of guyed-mast’s ear-plate connecting cables and shaft of guyed-mast, adopting two degree of freedom crack propagation model, track the crack propagation according to the increment of the deepest point and the surface point on the crack front of crack at hole of guyed-mast’s ear-plate. The stress intensity factors of I,II and III type crack with given shape and size have been calculated via finite element method, and a numerical method of calculating stress intensity factors with any shape and size crack has been proposed; furthermore according to modified I, II and III type compound crack propagation velocity formula on the basis of Paris crack propagation velocity formula, we analyzed the changing of crack shape parameter a/c with crack size parameter a/T of crack at hole of ear-plate connecting cable and shaft of guyed-mast by numerical integration method and obtained the propagation characteristic.

Based on Johnson and Tevaarwerk’s model, traction coefficient was obtained for operating conditions representative of spacecraft applications. In this model input data come directly from rheological experiments or are derived from other measurements through physical relationships. Theoretical results were also compared with experimental ones which were measured for the same operating conditions.

Modified Reynolds equation is deduced considering surface tension in this paper. The influence of surface tension on lubrication and elastohydrodynamic lubrication is analyzed. Result shows surface tension has apparent influence on oil film thickness. It makes minimum film thickness increase under relative thin film thickness. The influence decreases rapidly with the increasing of film thickness. Surface tension has little influence on oil film pressure distribution.

To improve the validity and efficiency of feature recognition for 3D reconstruction from engineering drawings, this paper presents a new method of view loops separation based on multi-granularity information acquisition. By analyzing the line-frames of combined primitive views and hidden semantics in engineering drawing, combined relationship of graphics primitives can be identified, then applies line-frames partition method of figuration analysis, view loop separation of individual primitive is realized by inertial loop search with pre-set priority. This algorithm is actualized in AutoCAD 2008 platform with development tools of Object ARX2008 and Visual C#2.0. With this algorithm, an application module of 3D intelligent reconstruction system is developed and finally the validity of this research is verified by examples.
