The influence of different factors in the alcogel preparation process and ambient pressure drying process on packing density of hydrophobic TiO2 aerogel synthesized by ambient pressure drying (APD) and the optimum preparation conditions were investigated by the orthogonal test with four-factor and three-level L9(34), respectively. The morphology and structural properties of hydrophobic TiO2 aerogels with different density were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Thermogravimetry (TG), N2 adsorption-desorption measurement and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results showed that the most important factors in the preparation process for TiO2 aerogels with low-density under ambient pressure are aging time, the volume ratio of C2H5OH to TBT, ethanol immersion time and hydrophobic modification time. The optimized preparation conditions are that aging time is 24 h, the volume ratio of C2H5OH to TBT is (7+7) : 5, the volume ratio of H2O to TBT is 1.7 : 5, the volume ratio of HAc to TBT is 1.7 : 5, ethanol immersion time is 24 h, hydrophobic modification time is 48 h, hexane solvent replacement time is 24 h and the drying temperature is 393 K. TiO2 aerogels with density of 460 kg/m3 was obtained at the optimized conditions. TiO2 aerogel with lower density displays higher specific surface area, porosity and pore volume as well as the larger pore size.

The flow stress behavior of the 7085 aluminum alloy was studied through single-pass compression experiment by using MMS-300 simulator within temperature range of 300-450°C and strain rate range of 0.01-10s-1. Dynamic recrystallization occurs in hot compression of 7085 alloy and the stress-strain curves are presented as wave with higher deformation temperature and strain rate. Increasing of deformation velocity and reducing temperature results in higher peak stress. Then a mathematical model has been developed to predict the stress-strain curves based on phenomenological representation of the curves and the traditional theories for constitutive equations which incorporate the power law. The constitutive equation expressed in terms of peak stress, peak strain and additional parameters to predict flow stress. The stress-strain curves of 7085 alloy predicted by this model are in good agreement with experimental results.

PANI coating was electrochemically synthesized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) method on the surface of 316L stainless steel plate. The surface morphology of PANI coating was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The effect of oxygen gas on corrosion behavior of PANI coating in PEMFC environment was investigated. The corrosion performance of the coating was evaluated by potential-time curve and polarization curve as well as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in a bath containing 1M H2SO4and 2ppM NaF, and the air with a flow rate of 10 ml/min was piped into the testing corrosion cell to simulate the positive cathode condition of PEMFC at 70°C. The potential-time curves illustrated that oxygen gas resulted in the potential decline towards negative direction. Polarization curves showed that corrosion potential of the sample with O2was lower than that of the sample without O2, and the corrosion current density was higher than that of the sample without O2. EIS results indicated that the Nyquist plots were constitute of a capacitive impedance arc and a incline line, and the oxygen gas reduced the anti-corrosion performance of the PANI coating.

Phase change thermal control technology has gained increasing focus as an emerging technology for the thermal control of spacecraft. This literature focused on melting process inside a latent heat energy storage filled with phase change material (PCM) by numerical simulation. A matrix-based enthalpy porosity theory in a three-dimensional finite volume discretization is simulated. The temperature distribution during the melting process of PCM Cerrolow-136 and CH3COONa·3H2O is obtained, based on which the thermal control function and energy storage capacity is compared. The results show that Cerrolow-136 has better performance. In different states of phase change, the temperature distribution of Cerrolow-136 is fairly uniform. Thermal control face's temperature of Cerrolow-136 is closer to phase transition temperature. In the same heat flux of 3000 W/m2, The whole process of thermal control temperature getting to 80°C for Cerrolow-136 is longer. Cerrolow-136, for its excellent characteristics, has potentially broad application in the fields of latent heat energy storage and space vehicle electronics.

In order to find out the recharge source of the leakage water that appears behind the right dam of Suzhi hydroelectric station located in Qinghai province of China, water samples of the leakage water, groundwater in the seepage observation wells, reservoir water and local precipitation are taken for isotopic composition analysis. Stable isotopes of the leakage water behind the dam have significant differences with local precipitation, indicating that the leakage water should not be recharged by precipitation. Isotopes of water in the seepage observation wells and reservoir water scatter around the same evaporation line, which implies that well water comes from reservoir water recharge. Leakage water behind the dam probably originates from the leakage of reservoir water as the stable isotopes of leakage water approximate those of well water and reservoir water.

It is found that the lowest concentrate ash content is 29.24% through exploring flotation experiments, which can not meet the producing requirement. Results of timed release flotation experiment show that when concentrate ash content is 15.00%, the theoretical concentrate yield is 24.36%, with 50.03% of flotation tailing ash content and 35.49% of combustible matter recovery. It can be concluded that the floatable grade of this coal sample is Very Difficult to Float. So flotation column is taken into account. The lowest concentrate ash content of roughing flotation by flotation column is 18.94%, which does not meet the requirement, either. Results of cleaning flotation of roughing flotation concentrate show that when the recycling pressure is 0.14 MPa, the concentrate ash content is 14.15% with a yield of 30.39%, which is satisfactory and can be referred to direct industrial production.

In order to understand the sedimentary characteristics of shale and prospects of shale gas exploration in the lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation northern of Guizhou Province, outcrop and core observations, thin sections, X-ray diffraction analysis and other means are used. Studies show that the thickness of Longmaxi formation shale is generally large, range from 20m to 200m, mainly develop in the water shelf. The mineral mainly compose of detrital quartz and clay minerals, and five lithofacies can be identified: black shale, silty shale, carbonaceous shale, calcareous shale and argillaceous siltstone. Longmaxi shale kerogen type is mainlyIand II, and Ro value is average of 1.87%, mainly in the mature - over mature stage. In addition, the TOC content and gas content of Longmaxi shale is high, what’s more, these two parameters have good positive correlation. Compared with the Barnett shale, both of them have some similarities in the development environment shale, shale thickness and type of organic matter and TOC content, while, Longmaxi shale is deeply buried and post-destruction more intense. Longmaxi shale sedimentary environment is stable, high shale thickness and stable distribution, good quality source rocks and high brittle mineral content, which has meet the basic parameters of shale gas exploration and development, and has a large shale gas exploration potential in study area.

According to the spinal anatomy data, three-dimensional geometric model of human lumbar spine L3-L5 segment is established in this paper. In the model, the vertebra is divided into cortical bone, cancellous bone, endplate and other structures. The connection between the vertebrae and intervertebral disc is simulated as contact joint. The material properties of lumbar parts of the structure are not the same, the elastic modulus is changing in the analysis. Based on the model, the deformation of the lumbar spine under different size of axial force and lateral torque is simulated. The simulation result shows the variation regularity of the deformation of vertebrae and intervertebral disc under the condition of different pressure. This research provides a quantitative reference for spinal bio-mechanics. The human spine model with a gradient change sets the foundation for processing field of artificial joint using the 3D printing technology.

The acquisition of the total organic carbon (TOC) content mainly relies on the geochemical analysis and logging data. Due to geochemical analysis is restricted by coring and experimental analysis, so it is difficult to get the continuous TOC data. Logging evaluation method for measuring TOC is very important for shale gas exploration. This paper presents a logging evaluation method that the shale is segmented according to sedimentary structures. Sedimentary structures were recognized by core, thin section and scanning electron microscope. Taking Wufeng-Longmaxi Formation, Silurian, Muai Syncline Belt, south of Sichuan Basin as research object, the shale is divided into three kinds: massive mudstone, unobvious laminated mudstone, and laminated mudstone. TOC within each mudstone are calculated using GR, resistivity and AC logging data, and an ideal result is achieved. This method is more efficient, faster and the vertical resolution is higher than △logR method.

The microhardness and microstructure of Ti-24Al-15Nb-1.5Mo/TC11 dual alloy joining interface processed by different heat treatment regimes were investigated. The results show that the microhardness of the weld zone and Ti-24Al-15Nb-1.5Mo alloy side of the dual alloy processed by gradient heat treatment are higher than that of the specimen processed by balance heat treatment. Moreover, the microstructure differences between the specimens processed by gradient heat treatment and balance heat treatment are very obvious, particularly in the interface between the TC11 alloy and the weld zone. While the joining interface is processed by gradient heat treatment, the microstructure change homogeneously, and the demarcation lines are ambiguous. However, for the joining interface processed by balance heat treatment, the demarcation lines are very obvious, and the microstructure of the TC11 alloy side is bi-morphic, the lath is short and coarse. Therefore, the interface integrity of the dual alloy processed by gradient heat treatment is better, which is an adoptable method to improve the properties of the dissimilar alloy joining interface.
