The article introduces each component of feeding paper machine of printing press which are press feet mechanism, paper separation mechanism and paper transfer mechanism, the function and the principle of work. Each mechanism is undertook a variety of designs and we choose the best design of each structure according to its functions. Design adopted is as follows: Press feet mechanism adopts the cam-linkage mechanism; Paper separation mechanism adopts the cam-linkage slider mechanism; Paper transfer mechanism adopts the conjugate cam-linkage slider mechanism. The machine is simple, practical and reliable.

Preservative was very necessary used in coated paper coating. Preservative was typical paper additive which was low dosage and high yield. Preservative classification, function mechanism and application technology of coated paper coating was introduced and summarized by the numbers in this paper. Finally the development direction and prospect of preservative used in coated paper coating was prospected.

In this work, acrylic acid and N-methylolacrylamide were used as functional monomers for preparation of styrene-acrylic emulsion, in combination with styrene and acrylic ester, as primary monomers. Also, 4 optimized emulsifier blends, including OP-10/FR-1, ER-30/FR-1, S-201/RE610, and CO-630/OF-40, were employed. A series of styrene-acrylic emulsion for automobile filter paper was successfully synthesized by preemulsification and semicontimuous copolymerization methods. The dilution stability, electrolyte stability, freeze-thaw stability, viscosity, pH and particle structure of emulsions after different storage time were monitored; the water resistance, bursting strength, stiffness of automobile filter paper after application were tested to study the effects of storage time. The results showed that the emulsions had good storage stability, while using all the 4 emulsifier blends. The pH value of emulsions decreased slowly, viscosity, dilution stability, particle size and distribution of emulsions were good; stabilities of freeze-thaw, storage and electrolyte changed slightly. Emulsions from emulsifier blends of OP-10/FR-1, ER-30/FR-1 and CO-630/OF-40 gave good water resistance property to filter paper. After 6 months, the paper bursting strength was almost unchanged, although the emulsion was stored for 6 months. The stiffness of papers reached the highest value, when the emulsion was stored for 2 weeks, and kept consistent until storage time of 6 months.

The performances of three kinds of water-based pigment inks were compared and studied, which include self-made ink, original printing ink and compatible ink. Art paper, matte paper and white card paper were used as the substrates. Testing the contact angle of ink droplets, the spreading, wetting, and drying rate of inks were investigated. The color density and CIE L*a*b* values of the printed samples were measured, to evaluate the hue error and color gamut. The water resistance was studied with corresponding experiments. The result indicates: self-made water-based pigment ink has the smallest contact angle on coated paper, showing a faster drying rate. Its color gamut is similar to the original printing ink on art paper, and the hue error is low. Through the water resistance test, the color density measured on art paper and matte paper had no changes, without color dissolving and color fading, showing good water resistance applicability.

Having been coated, the surface unevenness and pores on paper were covered by a coating layer composed of fine particles and binders, which can absorb ink well, thereby a good uniformity and smoothness of paper could be obtained, consequently, the reproducing capability for printing dot and good whiteness, gloss and opacity can be improved. In theory, the ink rub resistance for coated paper print is mainly affected by the ink absorbance property of paper, printing conditions, ink components, rub medium and so on. In this study, seven different kinds of coated papers, the viscosities of the inks were adjusted with a viscosity adjusting agent, and then the prints were prepared by proofing with the ink with different viscosities. After drying, the prints were used for rub testing. The impact of the basic properties of coated paper and the content of reducer in inks on rub resistance were discussed on the basis of a comparative analysis of the experimental data. Printing color density loss rate and print color difference were exploited in this paper to characterize the ink rub resistance for coated paper prints. In this study, it was found that ink rub resistance was mainly influenced by ink absorbency and smoothness of the paper. Under the similar conditions, the color density of coated paper print decreases with the rub strength increasing, color difference increased gradually, but not linearly. With the increase of ink viscosity reducer content, printing density loss rates as well as color difference changed, but not be linearly.

Experiments using pineapple leaf fiber as raw material in paper production have been conducted to assess the advantages in terms of mechanical properties, especially tensile strength, tearing strength and thickness of the paper. In this paper, samples of pineapple leaf fiber is mixed with a recycle newspapers in different composition of which is, 25%, 35%, 45%, 55%, 65% and 75% pineapple leaf fibers mixed with 75%, 65%, 55% , 45%, 35% and 25% of the recycle newspapers. The mixtures have been tested for mechanical properties and thickness by using the Universal Testing Machine (UTM) and micrometers. The results from tensile and tearing tests were then compared with data obtained from previous experiments. Through the observation of the experiment, it was found that the data obtained with similar experiments conducted previously. The results have been proved in tears testing and stress testing. Tearing test data shows that the longer the beating time imposed on the mixture, the lower the tearing force required to tear the paper samples. On the other hand, the tensile test results shows, the longer time beating the bear on the mix, the higher the tensile force should be imposed on the sample. The experimental results can help in the formulation of the pineapple leaf fiber-based paper production in accordance to the usage.

The culture of Chinese white spirit is time-honored, and it’s loved by all Chinese people, so it’s also important of white spirit packaging. The paper puts forward a new and green solution of white spirit packaging with paper bottle, it’s made with mulberry/rice paper and animal blood. The paper bottle is light and green, and increases the white spirit’s nutrition value. There are several physical and chemical tests in the paper just to justify the new bottle’s performance. Physical performance test includes appearance defect test, compression and stacking test, impact resistance test, water impact strength test, permeability test and so on. Chemical performance evaluation includes stability, compatibility and endurance.

With the widespread use of paper and paper products in China especially in cities, the subsequent negative impact becomes apparent. In the course of paper production and processing, resources and energy are consumed, with large amounts of carbon dioxide emitted, which greatly affects the low-carbon development of cities. Therefore, aiming at the characteristics of current way of paper consumption among urban residents in China, the consumption pattern of paper and paper products based on the low-carbon development of cities is put forward.

A kind of composite filler was prepared by using talc, 85。SR softwood pulp and CPAM. The effects of talc-fiber composite fillers on paper were investigated. The results showed that the composite fillers mainly adsorbed onto the surface of external fibrillatioed fibrils. Compared with commercial talc, the paper wih composite fillers addition had higher tensile index. It also showed that the composite fillers had some negative influence on drainage effect, when compared with the blank samples. Composite fillers which were prepared at CPAM dosage 0.6% had better effects on preparation of high filler paper.

AKD is an important internal size for paper pulp fiber. With recycled economy development, regenerated paper fiber becomes an important resource. In this paper, AKD is used as a modification aid by internal sizing method. It shows that the change of the dosage of AKD influences regenerated paper fiber Cobb value, but has no influence to paper surface strength. The proper pH value is from 7 to 9. The temperature has no influence to regenerated paper fiber Cobb value and paper surface strength. Appropriate modified starch is good for AKD modification fiber and increase of the surface strength of paper made from modified fiber by AKD. Amphoteric starch is better than cationic starch. Other added substances such as PEI, MPEI and PAE can improve the modification of paper fiber modified by AKD. So the adsorption of modified paper fiber decrease and the surface strength of paper modified fiber increase.

Different degrees of high degree of substitution cationic starch (HCS) were prepared and applied in paper coating. Effects of HCS on coating properties and coated paper properties were investigated, and the comparison of effects of HCS and PDMDAAC was made. The results show that the best amount of HCS in coating formula is between 2% and 4%. When the amount of HCS is 4%, whiteness of coated paper was the highest. The color density was the highest when the amount of HCS is about 4% and the degree of substitution is 0.64. HCS with degree of substitution 0.849 is better than PDMDAAC in some respects, and the print image density achieved satisfactorily.

First attempt to predicting physical properties of paper by Near Infrared Spectroscopy (abbreviated as NIRS) mathematical model, Acacia is a kind of fast-growing tree which is a potential resource in pulp and paper industry. The mathematical models of physical properties of Acacia unbleached kraft paper were established by software OPUS6.5 of Near Infrared Spectroscopy. Spectral data of Acacia unbleached kraft paper were acquired by Near-Infrared. Physical properties, which include quality, whiteness, tensile index, burst index and tear index, of the paper were measured by GB methods. NIRS mathematical models between the spectral data and the laboratory reference values were established and optimized by software OPUS6.5 partial least squares (abbreviated as PLS). The NIRS mathematical models were evaluated by its parameters, and used to predict the physical properties of unknown samples rapidly and accurately. Compared with NIRS mathematical model of physical properties of Acacia unbleached kraft pulp, the NIRS mathematical models of paper have a better prediction on unknown samples; Compared with traditional laboratory methods, predicting properties of paper by the NIRS mathematical models of paper is rapid, accurate and non-destructive.

The object of this work is to evaluate the optimal process of stickies removal on steam-explosion pulping from recovered paper. OCC (Old Corrugated Container), offset paper and coated art paper are presented for steam-explosion treatment. The parameters tested by single-factor tests are: liquor, explosion pressure, heat preservation time, and the charge of sodium hydrate and sodium silicate. The criterion used to characterize the stickies removal efficiency is the consistence of macrostickies and DCS in pulp after treatment. The compositional analysis are achieved the optimal explosion conditions. The use of steam explosion would be desirable in dealing with recovered paper.

In recent years, conductive paper produced by in-situ chemical polymerization of pyrrole and aniline in aqueous electrolytes has aroused a great interest. The in-situ chemical polymerization process is a process in which a monomer such as aniline or pyrrole is polymerized in the presence of pulp fibers. This approach can not only impart to paper specific functions, but also provide a new possibility for the processing and utilization of conductive polymers. In this paper, the research progress on inherently conducting polymer coated paper was overviewed.

Carbon fiber paper was coated with multiple layers coating composed by conductive and magnetic fillers. The electromagnetic shielding and conductive properties of the coating were investigated. The effluencing factors such as the ratio of conductive and magnetic fillers, the composition of magnetic fillers, the contrast of coating method, the structure of shielding layer were assessed according with effectiveness. The results showed the best component for the coating layer was: conductive substrate, conductive coating layer and magnetic coating layer sequently. The compound of magnetic fillers with differenet electromagnetic interaction mechanism would produce a complementary magnetic loss, and display a high absorption in broader frequency band. The shielding effectiveness of multi-layer coated carbon fiber paper at 1.5 GHz was shown up to 45 dB.

The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of drying condition on the binder distribution and characterize the binder migration in the method of numerical and visual analysis by Scanning Electrical Microscopy (SEM), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), and Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (LSCM). In this study, Rhodamine B was used to stain the binder and as the probe to characterize z-directional distribution of the binder using LSCM. The results implied that it was reliable and effective method using LSCM to characterize the z- directional distribution of binder and analyze the influence of dry condition on binder migration. It could be concluded that the dry temperature played an important effect on binder distribution in coated paper and high dry temperature accelerated binder migration to the coating surface, however low drying temperature made binder migrate towards the interior of base paper. Moderate drying is good to binder distribution and coating layer forming.

Traditional cast coated glossy photo paper production process due to its characteristics that the water evaporates from non-coated cast side, so the coating speed is slow, ground paper is non-waterproof paper, therefore the paper products are easy to transmutative, as the cast shows that the formation of dense coatings membrane, the lower ink absorption. To solve such the problems, a novel porous ink receiving layer constituted by a litter amount of a hydrophilic binder(PVA) and a cross-linking agent, a large amount of inorganic pigment(SiO2) and a hollow structural plastic pigment. In this paper, the effects of the hollow structural plastic pigment rheological properties of the color and the printing and preservation properties of ink jet paper were investigated. Because of the thermoplasticity of the plastic pigment the calendering and dry technology were also studied. From the viewpoint of water-fastness and preventing the penetration of binder, the resin coated paper(being so-called RC paper) is selected as the substrate.

Coating pore structure of low gloss coated paper based on different pigment blends was analyzed using mercury intrusion method in this paper. The results show that pore size of coating layer structure of low gloss coated paper ranges from 20nm-500nm, and the range from 500nm-5000nm is mainly from base paper and interactions between coating color and base paper. Printability of coated paper can be well related with coating pore structure. Print gloss is strongly influenced by pore size and pore volume. Large pore diameters and small pore volume of coating layer structure can improve print gloss. Ink density increases with the increasing of pore diameter while the pore volume is kept constant. The increasing of pore volume of coat layer structure will improve capillary absorption and then improve ink absorption. The control of coating pore structure is very important for producing low gloss coated paper.

In this paper, Water glass and sulfuric acid were used as raw materials to do the synthesis of hydrated silica by the method of precipitation, and then hydrated silica is applied in paper coating. By examining the changes of the coated paper’s various properties to study the effects of different reaction conditions to the final products. And then we obtained a optimal synthesis conditions: sulfuric acid concentration 25%, reaction time 50min, reaction temperature 80°C, sodium silicate modulus 2.8, stirring speed 150r/min, the relative amount of sodium sulfate content compared to SiO2 is 25% .And at last the outward appearance of the hydrated silica and the structural changes in paper coating were observed by scanning electron microscopy.

As one of the main emission sources of PCDD/Fs, the pulp and paper industry has always been public concerns. In China, the consumption of non-wood fiber as raw material of pulp accounts for a relatively larger proportion in the total productivity. Here, the unintentionally produced PCDD/Fs emissions of five Chinese non-wood pulp and paper mills were investigated. The results showed that the increment of PCDD/Fs after bleaching with chlorine was about 1.71-28.19 times in pulp and 3.96-28.82 times in wastewater based on the existing technologies. In order to reduce the unintentional production of PCDD/Fs, the BAT/BEP transformation program was proposed as cleaner production initiatives featured by less or free use of chlorine in bleaching process, and evaluated by reduction effects and costs. The study showed the application of Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) sequences in bleaching process with improving technologies in other production stages would effectively decrease the generation of PCDD/Fs, other pollutant load as well as the water consumptions.

The physical structure and chemical properties of coating layer have an important influence on transferring and setting of the printing ink. The typical objective of coating is to improve the appearance and printing properties of paper. In this study, the effect of drying condition on coating layer structure, surface properties, and print quality was investigated. The relationship between surface topography and drying condition was explored using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The conclusions were drawn that high and low drying temperature were not good to the paper properties, which resulted in high roughness, low paper gloss, high ink absorption, low print gloss and paper surface efficiency. The findings indicated that the coating drying temperature affected the pore size, depth and distribution of the coated paper surface. Moderate temperature was benefit to pigment particles and binder arranging orderly, which made the coating surface had high smoothness, gloss, paper surface efficiency, and modest ink absorption.

This paper studied some kinds of realization modes of speed chain compute, load distribution and operation aimed at the realization of paper machine driving system. The frequency conversion control system based on PLC cooperating with digital manipulator was brought forward. It was mainly made up of three parts: PLC, frequency converter and digital manipulator. It used PLC to realize digital speed chain and load distribution. And it exchanged data and parameters by communication through field bus network. The results indicate that the problems of speed chain compute, load distribution and operation were solved effectively by data gathering and computing with PLC, so it is a driving system of high performance.

This article introduced the superwater’s action principle for controlling slime pulp and its virtues. And then it studied its bactericidal and ameliorative actions in close system of whitewater. The article also compared superwater with other conventional bactericides. At the use level, concentration, actuation duration and bactericidal ability, superwater system excelled conventional bactericides. Furthermore the superwater can improve a series of problems in close system of whitewater. At last, a pilot scale test about superwater system has been carried out in a packing paper company. The test indicated that the superwater in whitewater can increase yield and save cost.

This article studied on these factors which influences the surface strength of packing paper. Through a series of tests, a model has been found. This model could guide the adjustment about fiber composition and beating process. And then a pilot scale test about this model has been carried out in Henan. The conclusion indicated that surface strength, printability and other strength indexes have been improved by adjustment of fiber composition and beating process scientifically. The ratio of softwood pulp has been reduced from 28% to 23%~25%. And the surface strength has been increased from 0.8~1.2m/s to 1.5~1.8m/s. Furthermore, when the ratio of softwood pulp is 23% and chemical-mechancial pulp is 7%, the packing paper still has a good printability.

Fluorescent whitening agent is relatively small dosage in the coating, but it has great influence on the properties of the coating and ink-jet printing qualities. With the increase of fluorescent whitening agent dosage, the PH of the coating rose but the viscosity was hardly to change. The brightness of coated ink-jet printing paper and color density of the printing image firstly presented the trend of increasing then decreasing. What’s more, when the brightness of the coated paper achieved to the maximum, color density and contact angle properties were the largest. Chromatic aberration property of the image reduced from 1.87 to 1.75, when the addition of fluorescent whitening agent rose from 0.1% to 0.5%. While the dosage was rose to 0.9%, chromatic aberration increased to 2.15. The gloss of coated paper decreased with the dosage of fluorescent whitening agent increasing. In sum, fluorescent whitening agent can enhance the brightness of the coated paper as well as the printing properties. The results show that the best brightness and printing qualities of coated ink-jet printing paper are obtained, when the fluorescent whitening agent is 0.5%( relative to pigment).

In order to evaluate the practical application effect of the self-made water-based coated paper inkjet ink and to study the influence factors, their printing performance and the influence of the printed material for printing performance is studied. The drying time of coated paper ink and ordinary water-based inkjet ink are measured and compared. Drying process of ink droplet is recorded by video contact angle tester. It is found that the drying rate of the coated paper ink is higher than the ordinary ink and the diffusion of the ordinary ink is severe. The coated paper ink and ordinary ink are printed, and it is found that the former can get better image detail and color reproduction for the picture of human’s face and inanimate object. The coated paper ink can also obtain a better reproduction of tone levels. Coated paper inkjet ink is printed on different coated papers, and the color densities are measured through red, green and blue color filter. The color strength and hue error are obtained to evaluate the color characteristics on different papers. It is concluded that the coated paper inkjet ink can obtain better color on the Henglian gloss coated paper, Sunbrite gloss coated paper and SPCO matt coated paper.

Quality standards of polygraphic production are raising at the market. Hereupon a role of the surface of paper quality becomes more important and its ability of image reproduction. Particularly color reproduction quality is highly required. Samples of paper with different surface texture and structure were taken to investigation. Techniques of an estimation of properties of a surface of materials are presented. By results of work it is possible to track character of dependence between indicators of quality of a surface and a material color rendition. In this work presents investigation of microgeometry of paper and influence of this factor on color coverage area of printing system.

The feasibility and technological conditions of the preparation of flame retardant paper based on fiber using co-precipitation synthesis of Mg-Al hydrotalcites as filler in papers were investigated. The crystallizations, granularities of Mg-Al hydrotalcites and characters of flame retardant papers were investigated through transmission election microscope and X-ray diffraction technique etc. The results indicated that Mg-Al hydrotalcites were layered hexagonal nanoparticles, with perfectly crystallized structure and striking performance in furnish retention improvement. The flame retardant papers based on fiber using Mg-Al hydrotalcites as fillers have excellent inflaming retarding performance. The oxygen index of the flame retardant paper produced is above 25 % at the dosage of 15 wt%.

A proprietary in situ chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process was developed to grow a layer of pyrocarbon on carbon paper preform for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC). The carbon paper preform is continuously manufactured by dry method. The characteristics of the carbon paper such as surface morphology, polarized light characteristics, and cross-section morphology were characterized using electron microscope, polarized light microscope, respectively. Fuel cell performance of the carbon paper was evaluated using single cell with hydrogen/air at various relative humidity (RH) conditions. The carbon paper with in situ growth of pyrocarbon showed significant improvement in lowering in-plane electrical resistance as well as fuel cell performance at dry condition. The carbon paper as seen under scanning electron microscope showed excellent surface morphology with pyrocarbon connecting carbon fibers tightly by CVD process.

The work presented in this paper aims at developing a tool based on the LCA approach which could be used systematically for the environmental evaluation of Forestry(Pulp) and Paper-making industry,seeking a way to reduce energy consumption, product cost and find the opportunity and way to reduce the pollution load. So it should be controled in every link which is possible to generate radiation in the process from gain of raw material in forestation pulp making and paper making to processing of waste products to prevent and reduce pollution and realize sustainable development of the economic, environmental and human society.

It is very important to measure paper fiber density and equivalent diameter for pulp suspension as solid-liquid two-phase flow in fluid dynamics study. There are some kinds of ways to measure fiber density，but not be suit for pulp fiber density because of their limitations. By using kajaaniFS300 fiber analyzer provided by Mesto ltd company to compare and measure all kinds of fiber length, fiber coarseness, weight average fiber length can more accurately show the actual length of fiber. The results shows that it is apparently more appropriate to calculate fiber density by using fiber coarseness, weight-average fiber length and weight-average fiber width, and fiber equivalent diameter should also be calculated according to the same weight-average fiber length and weight-average fiber width.

The effect of flotation parameters such as flotation consistency, temperature, flotation time, air to pulp ratio, and velocity of pulp flow (turbulence level) on OMG/MOW deinking efficiency was studied by using a high-consistency laboratory pulper and a laboratory deinking cell. The optimized flotation conditions were: flotation consistency 1.1%, 40°C, 8min, air to pulp ratio 40%, velocity of pulp flow 3.5m/s and pH 9.0. By using the optimized flotation conditions, the deinked pulp brightness could reach 70.56%ISO, 11.78%ISO higher than that of the control, the effective residual ink concentration was 108.46 mg/kg, which less than 378.14mg/kg of the control, theoretic deinking efficiency was up to 88.41%.

Small motions will result in heavy influence to the production in high-speed paper machine, therefore, decoupling control is necessary. According to the mathematics model of the flow box, decoupling the quantity of the two couplings in the processes. Meanwhile, Introduces the SIEMENS S7-300 PLC and the DCS system that is realized by the it.

Effect of wood pulp fiber and filler on the mechanical properties and harmful substance of reconstituted tobacco sheet were investigated. Experiments result showed that added lower lignin content pulp reduced phenols produced by reconstituted tobacco sheet combustion. As addition of bleached hardwood kraft pulp and precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) increased, the amount of phenols release was dropped dramatically, but in order to ensure the normal operation of papermaking mechine, wood pulp and PCC addition should not be more than 20%. If wood pulp addition was above 20%, it had negative effect on the bulk, carbon monoxide and cigarette smoke flavor of reconstituted tobacco sheet; when PCC addition was more than 20%, it has negative effect on the normal operation of papermaking mechine.

Nano titanium dioxide particles were synthesized by drolysis of TiCl4 through the phase thransfer and pH of the system is adjusted by Na2CO3 At the same time, the particles were characterized by the Transmission Electronic Microscope(TEM) and X-Ray Diffraction(XRD).As the result, it is shown that the TiCl4 solution was transformed from n-octyl alcohol to deionized water phase and reacted with the deionized water at 55°C, the precursors of nano-TiO2—Ti(OH)4 was dried for 6 hours under vacuum at 70°C,then calcined 3 hours in muffle furnace at 400°C.At last, the TiO2 nanoparticles which is uniform distribution, weak agglomeration was synthesized. In addition, wastewater in paper mill treatment with TiO2 nanoparticles was studied by experiment. It is shown that suspended substance and COD in wastewater were brought dwon largely. The mechenism that wastewater was treated is disscussed.

The beating characteristic of PPTA fiber and its influence on the performance of paper-based functional materials based on PPTA fiber and resin has been investigated in this study. The results show that the morphology of PPTA-pulp had significant influences on the mechanical and electrical properties of the composites. The sample contained with PPTA fiber of 35 °SR showed the increase in tensile strength, tearing strength and dielectric strength by 147.7%, 119.3% and 69.9% as compared with the untreated PPTA fiber.

The effect of flotation parameters such as flotation consistency, temperature, flotation time, air to pulp ratio, and turbulence level (velocity of pulp flow) on old book paper deinking efficiency was studied by using a high-consistency laboratory pulper and a laboratory deinking cell. The optimized flotation conditions were: flotation consistency 1.2%, 50°C, 6min, air to pulp ratio 40%, velocity of pulp flow 5.0m/s. By using the optimized flotation conditions, the deinked pulp brightness could reach 77.01%ISO, 9.69%ISO higher than that of the control, the effective residual ink concentration was 175.26 mg/kg, which less than 437.84mg/kg of the control, deinking efficiency was up to 59.97%. After washing process, pulp brightness could reach 84.27%ISO, the effective residual ink concentration was 93.71 mg/kg, deinking efficiency was up to 78.60%.

The bio-drying characteristics and its influencing factors of paper mill sludge (PMS) were investigated detailedly, by means of the heat generated by aerobic degradation of the organic substances in the PMS. In the orthogonal experiments, the good results were achieved with the followed optimization technics: starch (25.0g/500.0g), sawdust (40.0g/500.0g), inoculation (15.0mL/500.0g) and KH2PO4(5.0g/500.0g). During bio-drying, the matrix temperature increased to 47.2°C within 12-24h rapidly under the given operation parameters, and the maximum was about 48.0°C. In the whole process the pH changed in the range of 6.11-7.87. The quantity of amylolytic bacteria reduced to the minimum in the first day, and the amylolytic bacteria grew well until the process of bio-drying finished. The ATP content was increased drastically in the first day and peaked in the fifth day, with the maximum ATP content was about 6.4×10-6μmol/g. When bio-drying of PMS was finished, the VS content and moisture content (MC) reduced from 58.4% to 49.5% and 62.2% to 50.3% respectively.

Combining with the production practice in the particular consortium of the paper mill, power plant and calcium carbonate fines factory, a new kind of united treatment technology is designed. The technology is mixing the waste pulp and waste scum with coal to finish the in-furnace desulphurization, spraying waste water to the flue gas to finished flue gas desulphurization and using waste hydrogen of calcium as absorb material. This method can comprehensive use of resource to reach a better economic effective and social benefit. It reduces the processing cost and avoids city environment pollution. The three factories have mutually pleasant business. The technology opens up a new effective approach of desulphurization and can be good example to the same enterprises. An economical benefit is analyzed.

Oil palm frond pulp (OPF) was blended with activated carbon for the purpose of active packaging in this preliminary study. It was aimed to investigate the effect of in-situ activated carbon on physical and mechanical properties of the pulp handsheets made from OPF. Testing of property performances of the resulted handsheets included density, moisture content, thickness swelling, folding, tensile strength, %elongation, stiffness, and modulus of rupture. Ultimately, the intention is to use for prospected active packaging for fresh produce. OPF pulp was prepared by the kraft process. The pulp stock was mixed with different proportions of activated carbon (0, 10, 20, and 30% w/w). The results showed that an increased proportion of activated carbon decreased density and thickness selling, but had no effect on moisture content.

In the papermaking process, improve the efficiency of dehydration is the most important part of the control system of the paper machine press section, in order to improve the the papermaking efficiency and the quality of paper, the paper analyzed, the shoe working hydraulic oil passage analyzed.

A material was made from cement/waste paper/sludge mixture and tests were carried out on it to ascertain its suitability as a ceiling board material. The tests included water absorption, drying shrinkage, flexural strength, thermal conductivity, and compressive strength. The results showed that the material possesses good properties as a ceiling board material.

A test paper tape on the determination of nitrite in food was designed, which is based on the diazotization of nitrite with sulfanilic acid under weakly acidic conditions then coupled with N-(1-Naphthyl)-ethylenediamine dihydrochloride in forming the colour-producing response. Then the reaction membrane turned to purple-red. The deeper purple-red film was obtained in an increased nitrite concentration-dependent manner. Experimental results showed that nitrite concentrations were proportional to a values of the L a b color system. A favorable linearity was presented in the range of 25 to 5000 μg/mL. The correlation coefficient(r) was 0.984 and the whole testing time needed was about 1.5 min at room temperature.

The wettability of the carbon composite electrode on paper substrate was studied using contact angle measurement. Y-Shield HSF54 carbon composite material were coated on paper substrates with a mask using squeegee coating technique. Contact angles of the ten polar probe liquids with the HSF54 electrodes were measured using a customed-built image acquisition system. With the contact angles obtained for each probe liquid placed on the electrodes, the surface tension of the electrodes was determined using Fox-Zisman theory. The result showed that the critical surface tension of HSF54 carbon composite electrodes was 37.2 mN/m which is considered to be moderately hydrophobic.

A device has been designed to measure the whole stiffness which is behalf of paper plate’s carrying capacity. When the device was working, one end of the paper plate was hold as a hand did, the other end of the paper plate was pushed to 15°angle from the horizontal surface, and the force on the paper plate was recorded. Comparing load-bearing performance, the whole stiffness is more accurate to reveal the differences of the paper plates.

Based on this, Circular economy becomenecessary. Based on circular economy, the two kinds of industrial wastes weremixed to manufacture useful materials through carbonation in this research. Therequired raw materials were mixed by mortar mixer at the specified mixingratio. Then the mixture was transferred to a stainless steel mould formanufacturing of rectangular composite specimens. Only in this way, It is toshift from the paper maunfacturing and ironmaking and steelmaking industrywhich is over-consumption of energy and natural resources and very seriousenvironmental pollution to the industry which is less pollution and thedevelopment of multi-part cycle.

English, as one of the most important information carriers, has become the most widely used language worldwide, and its importance is increasingly prominent in each field of our society. Examinations are an important means of evaluating the level of English language learning and teaching outcomes. For the problems existed in traditional English exam, this paper research English online examination system intelligent test paper based on random algorithm. First, the design test paper constraints, including the question amount constraint, questions type constraints, knowledge point constraints, difficulty constraints, answer time constraints and so on; Then, using the linear congruence generator study of a random number generation, list recursive formula and describe parameters; Finally, using flow diagram to study random test paper process, for each step describing in detail. Measuring the influence of academic research publication is an meaningful work in academe. In this paper, the co-author and the citation networks are built to calculate the influence of a researcher and a paper in the way of networks separately with the discussion of further applications. At the beginning, the co-author network is built to determine the influence of co-authors. Then, based on the citations among the papers in the database, we build up the citation network with the help of graph theory. Thirdly, the method is implemented with the application of American Airline network analysis. As the final, the analysis of strengths and weaknesses is conducted.

The curriculum construction is a very important work leading to the excellent course. Processing Technology of Paper Box and Carton (including 32 class hours) is a new elective course to the printing engineering in our college. It is very important and necessary to construct the course in time. At first, the current states and difficulties were introduced in the paper, which was that teaching contents, teaching courseware and teacher team should be all improved. Especially, the teaching content proportion on both paper box and carton was set. And then the ideas and ways used for building up the curriculum system are presented as integrating the teaching contents, reforming the teaching mode and strengthening the teaching management. Finally, the significance of carrying out the teaching reform was put forward, and the achievements of course construction should be applied to the usual teaching work. The curriculum Processing Technology of Paper Box and Carton was reckoned as the excellent curriculum of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication in 2013.
