Abstract
The article focuses on the implementation of electronic learning in Great Britain. It is included in the whole education system from nursery to adult and community learning. The government has established several online centres in libraries and community locations to provide access to the technology. The development of a standard and core curriculum is one of the steps taken by the government following its decision to make information and communication and technology a Skill for Life.
