Abstract

The article presents a study on uranium?lead (U-Pb) dating and laser ablation?inductively coupled plasma?mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) of Middle Permian granite of Langshan Mountain, China and its indicating significance. Topics discussed include characteristics of granite such as finegrained texture and massive structure; chemical composition of granite and selection of zircon to carry on LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating.
