This article describes a case study of mycosis fungoides (MF), presenting as erythema gyratum repens (EGR)-like lesions, in a 73-year-old Japanese patient with underlying lung cancer. The patient presented with a ten-year history of worsening, itchy, erythematous eruptions on his trunk and extremities. On dermatological examination, he had concentric, slightly infiltrated, annular, red patches and plaques on his chest, abdomen and extremities. Patient outcome and background on MF are noted.

The article describes cases which showed the development of a recurrent keratoacanthoma (KA) neighbouring either a regressing or a regressed KA lesion when monitoring the primary lesion. In both cases, the recurrent KAs in both cases exhibited a cystic appearance. It concluded that based on the cases, there may be an under-recognized fourth stage which is the recurrent stage in the natural history of KAs.

The article describes the case of tuberculous cellulitis lacking epithelioid granuloma seen in an 86-year-old man. The patient presented with a fever and ill-defined, tender, erythematous, warm and swelling plaque in the left thigh. Although anti-tuberculotic treatment was performed immediately, the patient died. Findings of histopathological procedures performed on samples from the patient are detailed.
