The title compound, [FeHg(C5H5)(C18H11Cl2N)Cl], was prepared by the reaction of [(2-chloro­phen­yl)(3-chloro­phenyl­imino)meth­yl]ferrocene, mercury acetate and lithium chloride. The N⋯Hg separation of 2.884 (5) A suggests a weak coordination inter­action.
