The whole molecule of the title compound, C14H8Cl2N4, is generated by inversion symmetry. The dihedral angle between the 2-chloro-phenyl ring and the tetra-zine ring is 47.65 (5)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by slipped parallel π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.8199 (5), normal distance = 3.3127 (8), slippage 1.902 Å] forming columns along the a-axis direction.

The title compound, C21H11ClF6N2O3 (systematic name: 1-{4-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-2-fluorophenyl}-3-(2,6-di-fluoro-benzo-yl)urea), is a benzoyl-urea pesticide. The dihedral angles between the central fluoro-benzene ring and the terminal di-fluoro-phenyl ring and chloro-phenyl ring system are 62.15 (5) and 88.03 (5)°, respectively. In the crystal, N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol-ecules, forming R 2 (2)(8) inversion dimers that pack into loop chains along the a-axis direction by short F⋯F contacts [2.729 (2) Å]. In addition, the chains are linked by weak C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions [inter-centroid distances = 3.661 (2) and 3.535 (12) Å], resulting in a three-dimensional architecture.

In the title compound, C12H9Cl2NO3, which is the fungicide vinclozolin, the dihedral angle between the oxazolidine ring mean plane [r.m.s. deviation = 0.029 Å] and the benzene ring is 77.55 (8)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along [010]. The chains are linked by short Cl⋯Cl contacts [3.4439 (3) and 3.5798 (3) Å], resulting in a three-dimensional architecture.

In the title compound, the herbicide bifenox, C14H9Cl2NO5, the dihedral angle between the dichlorobenzene and nitro-benzene rings is 78.79 (14)°. In the crystal, C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds give rise to a three-dimensional network structure in which there are both a π-π inter-action [ring centroid separation = 3.6212 (16) Å] and a C-Cl⋯π inter-action [Cl⋯ring centroid = 3.4754 (8) Å]. In addition, short Cl⋯Cl contacts [3.3767 (11) and 3.3946 (11) Å] are present.

In the title compound, C(22)H(26)O(3), the dihedral angle between the cyclo-propane ring and the plane of the vinyl group is 88.2 (2)°. The dihedral angle between the phenyl and furan rings is 86.09 (8)°. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯π contacts together with very weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds stack the mol-ecules along the a axis.

In the binuclear title compound, [Ag(2)(C(11)H(11)N(3))(2)](CF(3)O(3)S)(2), the complex cation is centrosymmetric, with the unique Ag(+) cation coordinated by two pyridine N atoms from two symmetry-related N-(pyridin-2-ylmeth-yl)pyridin-2-amine ligands in a geometry slightly distorted from linear [N-Ag-N 161.02 (7)°]. This set-up leads to the formation of a 14-membered cyclic dimer. The two pyridine rings coordinated to the Ag(+) cation are tilted by 80.19 (7)° with respect to each other. Inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding inter-actions between the cyclic dimer and the anion exist. A two-dimensional network parallel to the ac plane is constructed by three weak Ag⋯(O,N) inter-actions as well as an F⋯F contact of 2.890 (4) Å.

The title compound, C(20)H(22)N(6) (2+)·2PF(6) (-), was prepared by the reaction of 5,5'-bis-(bromo-meth-yl)-2,2'-bipyridine with 1-methyl-imidazole. The main mol-ecule lies on an inversion center located at the mid-point of the C-C bond joining the two pyridine rings. The asymmetric unit therefore contains one half-mol-ecule and one hexa-fluoro-phosphate anion. The dihedral angle between the pyridine and imidazole rings is 76.93 (7)°. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds contribute to the stabilization of the packing.

In the title compound, C(56)H(44)Br(4)O(4), the calix[4]arene unit displays the 1,2-alternate conformation with crystallograpically imposed inversion symmetry. The four phen-oxy rings of the calix[4]arene unit are twisted about the mean plane defined by the four methyl-ene C atoms bridging the benzene rings, with dihedral angles of 46.73 (6) and 66.11 (5)°. The dihedral angle between adjacent phen-oxy rings is 74.75 (7)°. The two pendant bromo-phenyl rings on the same side of the calix[4]arene unit are nearly perpendicular to each other, with a dihedral angle of 72.85 (10)° due to an intra-molecular C-H⋯π inter-action. In the crystal, a Br⋯Br contact of 3.6350 (5) Å, an inter-molecular C-H⋯Br hydrogen bond and an inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-action are observed.

In the title compound, C(14)H(14)Cl(2)N(2)O, the imidazole ring is almost parallel to the benzene ring, the dihedral angle between them being 7.3 (2)°. In the crystal, there is an inter-molecular C-Cl⋯π inter-action (Cl⋯centroid = 3.36 Å and C-Cl⋯centroid = 89.2°). In addition, a Cl⋯Cl contact of 3.411 (1) Å and an inter-molecular C-H⋯N hydrogen bond are observed. These inter-actions contribute to the stabilization of the crystal packing.

The title compound, C(11)H(11)N(3), crystallizes with two mol-ecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit. The geometries of both mol-ecules are very similar, with the exception of the torsion angles of the inter-ring chains; the values for C-N-C-C are 67.4 (5) and -69.3 (5)° for mol-ecules A and B, respectively. The dihedral angles between the pyridyl ring planes are 84.0 (2) and 83.2 (2)° for mol-ecules A and B, respectively. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions contribute to the stabilization of the packing.

In the title compound, C(26)H(21)F(6)NO(5), the dihedral angle between the cyclo-propane ring plane and the vinyl group plane is 79.3 (3)°. The dihedral angle between the benzene and phenyl ring planes in the phen-oxy-benzyl group is 82.7 (1)°. In the crystal structure, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯π inter-actions and C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds contribute to the stabilization of the packing.

The title compound, C(6)H(11)N(2)O(4)PS(3), crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angles between the thia-diazole ring planes and the PS(2) planes of the phospho-rodithio-ate group are 86.51 (5) and 56.33 (5)° in the two mol-ecules. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular S⋯S [3.570 (8) Å] inter-actions and C-H⋯O and C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds contribute to the stabilization of the packing.

In the title compound, C(7)H(14)NO(5)P, the phosphate group displays rotational disorder of three O atoms with an occupancy ratio of 0.832 (6):0.167 (6). The dihedral angle between the acryl-amide group and PO(2) plane of the phosphate group is 75.69 (7)°. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules.

The title compound, C(18)H(16)N(6)·2CH(3)OH, was prepared by the reaction of 5,5'-bis-(bromo-meth-yl)-2,2'-bipyridine with imidazole. The main mol-ecule lies on an inversion center located at the mid-point of the C-C bond joining the two pyridine rings. The asymmetric unit therefore contains one half-mol-ecule and one methanol solvent mol-ecule. The dihedral angle between the pyridine and imidazole rings is 72.32 (5)°. In the crystal, weak inter-molecular O-H⋯N, C-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds contribute to the stabilization of the packing.

In the title compound, C(11)H(8)Cl(2)N(2)O, the benzene and pyridazine rings are tilted by 8.6 (1)° relative to each other. In the crystal, pairs of inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds form centrosymmetric dimers. π-π contacts with centroid-centroid distances of 3.698 (2) and 3.751 (1) Å and halogen-halogen inter-actions [3.379 (1) Å] also stabilize the structure.
