The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C9H8N2O2, contains two molecules. In the crystal structure, both molecules form inversion dimers via pairs of O—H...O hydrogen bonds, and a C—H...O interation is also seen.

In the title compound, C28H28N4O4S, the dihedral angles between the central thiophene ring and its pendant oxadiazole rings are 1.2 (3) and 9.8 (3)°. The dihedral angles between the oxadiazole and phenyl rings are 2.9 (3) and 1.8 (3)°. Some short intramolecular C—H...O contacts occur.

In the title compound, C8H7ClFNO, an intramolecular C—H...O hydrogen bond forms a six-membered ring. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming infinite chains along the c axis.
