Taking a vehicle transmission as the research object, considering the engine excitation and the transmission clearance of each component of the system, a dynamic model of the transmission system was established by the centralized mass method. The dynamic model simulation results of different total transmission clearance are analyzed under the load input conditions of engine excitation changes. The transient load impact of each transmission element on the transmission path under the change of engine excitation was studied. The influence of the change of the transmission clearance on the transient load impact of the transmission shaft and each gear pair is obtained, which provides a theoretical reference for the NVH performance improvement design of the vehicle transmission.
