According to the fire characteristics of building fire, the paper employed AHP (analytic hierarchy process) to establish building fire risk assessment system, including categories of factories, hotels, malls, schools and public amenities, based on the using properties of buildings. Meanwhile, the questionnaires and the cluster analysis were proposed to calculate the experts' weight coefficient, and then the index weight values in the five systems were computed. The system not only can make the government, the public and the unit knows the fire safety situation, but also can provide gist for insurance.
