This book is dedicated to an analysis of seven groups of hadiths related to matters ranging from the rules concerning water used for ablution to those concerning the proof of facts in a qadi court. It has three main purposes. The first is to clarify the processes by which hadiths on a given topic were formed and developed by analyzing their isnāds and matns and by comparing them with expositions of positive law in legal manuals. Second, it seeks to explain why many hadiths exist in multiple variants and to detect the perception of traditionists about the revision of hadiths. The third purpose is to propose a methodology to estimate the extent to which traditionists accepted hadiths on a particular topic.

Diese Überlieferungen vom Propheten Muhammad sind für die Muslime nach dem Koran die zweite bedeutende Quelle, aus der sie Richtlinien für ihren Glauben, ihr Denken und Handeln beziehen. Schon die muslimischen Rechtsgelehrten der ersten Jahrhunderte des Islam beschäftigte die Frage der Glaubwürdigkeit dieser Überlieferungen, die seit dem 3. Jh. H. in anerkannten Sammlungen vorliegen. In dieser Zeit entwickelten die Gelehrten auch eine Hadith-Kritik, die Kriterien festlegte, mit deren Hilfe man den Grad der Glaubwürdigkeit einzelner Überlieferungen bestimmen konnte. تعتبر دراسة مناهج فهم النصوص النبوية من أكثر الدراسات الأصولية والحديثية أهمية ، فكون الحديث المصدر الثاني للتشريع الإسلامي ، وأداة لفهم القرآن الكريم ، يقتضي بذل المجهود لتطوير تصنيفه ودراسته وتحليله ، وتفهم مقاصده وغاياته ، وكشف علاقة أحكامه بالزمان والمكان ومتغيرات الواقع. والتسلح بتلك المناهج شرط أساس لحسن فهم ما أثر عن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم ، وإهماله يحدث اضطرابا في الفهم ، وفوضى في التعامل ، وخروجا عن مراد الرسول صلى الله عليه و سلم بقوله وفعله وتقريره. كما تكتسي تلك المناهج أهمية كبيرة في تشكيل العقل المسلم ، وتحديد منهج تعامله مع أحكام الدين عموما ، تشددا أو تسببا أو اعتدالا. وهذا الأمر تؤكد عليه النصوص الشرعية من خلال الحث على التسلح بالفهم والفقه ، بدل الاكتفاء بالرواية والنقل. وذلك مثل ما ورد في قول رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : نضر الله امرأ سمع مقالتي فحفظها ورعاها ، ووعاها وأداها ، فرب حامل فقيه غير فقيه ، ورب حامل فقيه إلى من هو أفقه منه.

كتاب لجعفر بن محمد بن الحسن الفريابي (207هـ - 301هـ)؛ يعنى بالحديث عن خصلة النفاق وأضرارها؛ من إفساد للصلات بين الناس، ومنع لظهور الحق، وانحراف بسالكيها عن سواء السبيل والطريق المستقيم؛ وفي الكتاب مائة وأحد عشر نصًّا مسندًا؛ ما بين المرفوع وغيره؛ وقد رتبها مؤلف الكتاب على بابين فقط؛ وهما: باب ما روي في صفة المنافق وأن من كان فيه ثلاث خصال فهو منافق حقًّا؛ وقد ضمنه النصوص الواردة بالصفات التي من اتصف بها كان من المنافقين، وباب فيمن كان يخاف النفاق ويشفق منه ولا يأمنه على نفسه؛ ومن الجدير بالذكر أن المؤلف يحرص على جمع طرق النص الواحد جمعًا يشبه أن يكون مستقصيًا، ويسردها في موضع واحد.

أصول السُّنّة ، ضمَّنها معتقد أهل السُّنّة والجماعة، الذي هو مستوحى من الكتاب الكريم، والسُّنّة المطهَّرة؛ وخص من ذلك الأمور الغيبية، ومسائل الإيمان، وما حصل فيه خلاف مع بعض المبتدعة، فكانت رسالة قيمة مفيدة في بابها، يعرف بها حرص الأئمة ـ رحمهم الله تعالى ـ على إنقاذ الأمة من المحدثات والضلالات، وتحذيرهم من مخالفة الكتاب والسُّنّة، وبيان القول الصحيح السليم في تلك المسائل.

إن ما أصاب البشرية من آفات معضلات، ومصائب مهلكات، كان بسبب إعراضهم عن منهج الله القويم، واستبداله بهواهم العقيم، مدعين القدرة على إصلاح شؤونهم، وتقويم سلوكهم، فوقعوا متخبطين في طرائق الشيطان ومهما حاول العابثون الواهمون إصلاح البشرية، وإنقاذها من براثن الفساد والخراب، فلا سبيل لهم إلا بمنهج الله تعالى، ولن يصلح حال هذه الأمة إلا بما صلح أولها.,لهذا كان القرآن معيناً لا ينضب للدارسين في شتى المجالات، لأن علومه محيطات لا شواطئ لها، وأعماقه غائرة لا حدود لها، فمهما ألفت في فنونه مؤلفات، فلن تبلغ قراره، أو تحيط بأسراره.

قيل لا يجوز إطلاق الرفيق علي الله تعالي اسما لان أسماءه, إنما تثبت بالتواتر ولم يستعمل هنا علي قصد التسمية, وإنما أخبر به عنه تمهيدا للحكم الذي بعده.
