- Abstract
Der künstlerische Prozess selbst kann der Königsweg sein, um individuelle Ressourcen, sinnstiftende Erkenntnisse und Autonomie fördernde Potenziale zu entwickeln. Die Zeit ist daher reif für einen spezifisch künstlerischen Schwerpunkt in der Kunsttherapie. Diesen Ansatz illustrieren namhafte Autoren aus verschiedenen Arbeitsbereichen, die sich in diesem Buch mit künstlerischen, analytischen, medizinischen und psychologischen Aspekten der Kunsttherapie auseinandersetzen. Zahlreiche Berichte aus der Praxis belegen die Wirksamkeit in Prävention, Klinik und Rehabilitation – vor allem auch in existenziellen Ausnahmesituationen des Lebens. Die Autoren stellen z.B. Kunstprojekte mit Patienten aus der forensischen Psychiatrie und dem Strafvollzug vor. Sie erläutern Kunstprojekte in offenen Ateliers mit chronisch psychisch Kranken und geben Anleitungen zu Kunsttherapie mit Migranten und Menschen in Kriegsgebieten. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf der Wechselwirkung zwischen kreativem bildnerischem Schaffen und seelischen Prozessen. Dabei wird auch auf Fragen der Ausbildung, Lehre und Forschung im Bereich der Kunsttherapie eingegangen. Ein ausführliches Kapitel zur praktischen Anwendung der Kunsttherapie rundet das Buch ab.

- Abstract
Die psychosomatische Rehabilitation weist gegenüber der Akut-Psychosomatik Besonderheiten auf, insbesondere ihre Nähe zur Sozial-, Arbeits- und Betriebsmedizin und ihre Ausrichtung auf den funktionellen Gesundheitsbegriff der ICF. Dies wird in der bisherigen Literatur nicht berücksichtigt. Dieses Werk stellt erstmals die Grundlagen und Schnittstellen der psychosomatischen Rehabilitation systematisch dar. Versorgungsstrukturen, Setting, Krankheitsbilder und therapeutische Prinzipien sowie Ergebnisse der Versorgungsforschung werden aus dem Blickwinkel der Rehabilitations-Praxis geschildert. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die psychosomatische Rehabilitation eine psychosoziale Medizin entwirft, die den Menschen als Subjekt in seiner Lebens- und Arbeitswelt zum Gegenstand seiner therapeutischen Bemühungen nimmt.
