L'insuffisance circulatoire aiguë est un des motifs les plus fréquents d'admission dans les unités de réanimation. Elle exige de la part du réanimateur une connaissance approfondie de la physiopathologie, du diagnostic et du traitement de cette détresse vitale. Il faut certainement substituer à cette approche simpliste une prise en compte globale du patient et de son passé afin de proposer une prise en charge plus personnalisée.
