Revealing expressions of secret-key capacity (SKC) based on data sets from Gaussian MIMO channel probing are presented. It is shown that Maurer's upper and lower bounds on SKC coincide when the used data sets are produced from one-way channel probing. As channel coherence time increases, SKC in bits per probing channel use is always lower bounded by a positive value unless eavesdropper's observations are noiseless, which is unlike SKC solely based on reciprocal channels., Comment: Accepted for publication in IEEE Wireless Communications Letters

This manuscript presents a novel state-of-the-art cyber-physical water testbed, namely: The AI and Cyber for Water and Agriculture testbed (ACWA). ACWA is motivated by the need to advance water supply management using AI and Cybersecurity experimentation. The main goal of ACWA is to address pressing challenges in the water and agricultural domains by utilising cutting-edge AI and data-driven technologies. These challenges include Cyberbiosecurity, resources management, access to water, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making, among others. To address such issues, ACWA consists of multiple topologies, sensors, computational nodes, pumps, tanks, smart water devices, as well as databases and AI models that control the system. Moreover, we present ACWA simulator, which is a software-based water digital twin. The simulator runs on fluid and constituent transport principles that produce theoretical time series of a water distribution system. This creates a good validation point for comparing the theoretical approach with real-life results via the physical ACWA testbed. ACWA data are available to AI and water domain researchers and are hosted in an online public repository. In this paper, the system is introduced in detail and compared with existing water testbeds; additionally, example use-cases are described along with novel outcomes such as datasets, software, and AI-related scenarios.

This research paper presents a part-of-speech (POS) annotated dataset and tagger tool for the low-resource Uzbek language. The dataset includes 12 tags, which were used to develop a rule-based POS-tagger tool. The corpus text used in the annotation process was made sure to be balanced over 20 different fields in order to ensure its representativeness. Uzbek being an agglutinative language so the most of the words in an Uzbek sentence are formed by adding suffixes. This nature of it makes the POS-tagging task difficult to find the stems of words and the right part-of-speech they belong to. The methodology proposed in this research is the stemming of the words with an affix/suffix stripping approach including database of the stem forms of the words in the Uzbek language. The tagger tool was tested on the annotated dataset and showed high accuracy in identifying and tagging parts of speech in Uzbek text. This newly presented dataset and tagger tool can be used for a variety of natural language processing tasks such as language modeling, machine translation, and text-to-speech synthesis. In this paper we present a rule-based stemming algorithm for the Uzbek language. Uzbek is an agglutinative language, so many words are formed by adding suffixes, and the number of suffixes is also large. For this reason, it is difficult to find a stem of words. The methodology is proposed for doing the stemming of the Uzbek words with an affix stripping approach whereas not including any database of the normal word forms of the Uzbek language. Word affixes are classified into fifteen classes and designed as finite state machines (FSMs) for each class according to morphological rules. We created fifteen FSMs and linked them together to create the Basic FSM. Lemmatization is one of the core concepts in natural language processing, thus creating a lemmatization tool is an important task. This paper discusses the construction of a lemmatization algorithm for the Uzbek language. The main purpose of the work is to remove affixes of words in the Uzbek language by means of the finite state machine and to identify a lemma (a word that can be found in the dictionary) of the word. The process of removing affixes uses a database of affixes and part of speech knowledge. Nowadays, creation of the tagged corpora is becoming one of the most important tasks of Natural Language Processing (NLP). There are not enough tagged corpora to build machine learning models for the low-resource Uzbek language. In this paper, we tried to fill that gap by developing a novel Part Of Speech (POS) and syntactic tagset for creating the syntactic and morphologically tagged corpus of the Uzbek language. This work also includes detailed description and presentation of a web-based application to work on a tagging as well. Based on the developed annotation tool and the software, we share our experience results of the first stage of the tagged corpus creation

This work presents a morphological analyzer for the Uzbek language using a finite state machine. The proposed methodology is a morphologic analysis of Uzbek words by using an affix striping to find a root and without including any lexicon. This method helps to perform morphological analysis of words from a large amount of text at high speed as well as it is not required using of memory for keeping vocabulary. According to Uzbek, an agglutinative language can be designed with finite state machines (FSMs). In contrast to the previous works, this study modeled the completed FSMs for all word classes by using the Uzbek language's morphotactic rules in right to left order. This paper presents a study of continuous encryption functions (CEFs) of secret feature vectors for security over networks such as physical layer encryption for wireless communications and biometric template security for online Internet applications. CEFs are defined to include all prior continuous "one-way" functions. It is shown that dynamic random projection and index-of-max (IoM) hashing algorithm 1 are not hard to attack, IoM algorithm 2 is not as hard to attack as it was thought to be, and higher-order polynomials are easy to attack via substitution. Also presented is a new family of CEFs based on selected components of singular value decomposition (SVD) of a randomly modulated matrix of feature vector. Detailed empirical evidence suggests that SVD-CEF is hard to attack. Statistical analysis of SVD-CEF reveals its useful properties including its sensitivity to noise. The bit-error-rate performance of a quantized SVD-CEF is shown to exceed that of IoM algorithm 2.

This paper considers the secrecy performance of several schemes for multi-antenna transmission to single-antenna users with full-duplex (FD) capability against randomly distributed single-antenna eavesdroppers (EDs). These schemes and related scenarios include transmit antenna selection (TAS), transmit antenna beamforming (TAB), artificial noise (AN) from the transmitter, user selection based their distances to the transmitter, and colluding and non-colluding EDs. The locations of randomly distributed EDs and users are assumed to be distributed as Poisson Point Process (PPP). We derive closed form expressions for the secrecy outage probabilities (SOP) of all these schemes and scenarios. The derived expressions are useful to reveal the impacts of various environmental parameters and user's choices on the SOP, and hence useful for network design purposes. We have observed a super-giant (~10,000,000%) negative magnetoresistance at 39 mT field in Cu nanowires contacted with Au contact pads. In these nanowires, potential barriers form at the two Cu/Au interfaces because of Cu oxidation that results in an ultrathin copper oxide layer forming between Cu and Au. Current flows when electrons tunnel through, and/or thermionically emit over, these barriers. A magnetic field applied transverse to the direction of current flow along the wire deflects electrons toward one edge of the wire because of the Lorentz force, causing electron accumulation at that edge and depletion at the other.
