In this expository note we show how combinatorial Nullstellensatz by N. Alon naturally appears in solutions of elementary problems. Simple ideas gradually and naturally appear in such solutions, thus bringing a reader to generalizations. In this preprint we consider generalizations of discrete and integral Cauchy--Bunyakovskii inequalities by the method of mean values with some applications. Mostly the material is compiled as a short survey but some results are proved. Main results are listed, including an interesting inequality with maximum and minimum values. Some applications are considered from different fields of mathematics. Among them are estimates for some special functions, including Euler gamma and incomplete gamma function, the Legendre complete elliptic integrals of the first kind. Also some further possible generalizations are considered and outlined, including generalizations of the Acz\'el and Minkovskii inequalities, a case of spaces with sign-indefinite form, the Jackson's $q$-integrals., Comment: 39 pages. We construct the Lagrange-D'Alembert Principle as a pure mathematical theory that meets the modern standards of rigor. We note several new aspects of the Lagrange-D'Alembert principle but the article is mainly methodological by its substance. The 'Konstantinov System' was a non-standard educational institution created by the great mathematical educator Nikolay Konstantinov (1932-2021), this 'System' worked (mainly in Moscow) in 1960-80s. Appearing in 1921 as an equation for small-amplitude waves on the surface of an infinitely deep liquid, the Nekrasov equation quickly became a source of new results. This manifested itself both in the field of mathematics (theory of nonlinear integral equations of A.I. Nekrasov; 1922, later - of N.N. Nazarov; 1941), and in the field of mechanics (transition to a fluid of finite depth - A.I. Nekrasov; 1927 and refusal on the smallness of the wave amplitude - Yu.P. Krasovskii; 1960).The main task of the author is to find out the prehistory of the Nekrasov equation and to trace the change in approaches to its solution in the context of the nonlinear functional analysis development in the 1940s - 1960s. Close attention will be paid to the contribution of European and Russian mathematicians and mechanics: A.M. Lyapunov, E. Schmidt, T. Levi-Civita, A. Villat, L. Lichtenstein, M.A. Krasnoselskii, N.N. Moiseev, V.V. In this expository note we present simple proofs of the lower bound of Ramsey numbers (Erd\"os theorem), and of the estimation of discrepancy. Neither statements nor proofs require any knowledge beyond high-school curriculum (except a minor detail). Thus they are accessible to non-specialists, in particular, to students. Our exposition is simpler than the standard exposition because no probabilistic language is used. We present a motivated exposition of the proof of the following Tverberg Theorem: For every integers $d,r$ any $(d+1)(r-1)+1$ points in $\mathbb R^d$ can be decomposed into $r$ groups such that all the $r$ convex hulls of the groups have a common point. The proof is by well-known reduction to the B\'ar\'any Theorem. However, our exposition is easier to grasp because additional constructions (of an embedding $\mathbb R^d\subset\mathbb R^{d+1}$, of vectors $\varphi_{j,i}$ and statement of the Bara\'ny Theorem) are not introduced in advance in a non-motivated way, but naturally appear in an attempt to construct the required decomposition. In 1941 a mechanical problem about a rod in a moving train (there is a initial position such that rod does not touch the floor while train is moving) was published by R.Courant and H.Robbins in their popular book "What is mathematics?" and attributed to H.Whitney. Many mathematicians, including G.E.Littlewood, A.Broman, T.Poston, I.Stewart, V.Arnold, commented on this problem and its solution based on a continuity argument, and created a lot of confusion. The book is a unique phenomenon in Russian geometry education. It was first published in 1892; there have been more than 40 revised editions, and dozens of millions of copies (by these parameters it is trailing only Euclid's Elements). In 1840 Jacob Steiner on Christian Rudolf's request proved that a triangle with two equal bisectors is isosceles. But what about changing the bisectors to cevians? Cevian is any line segment in a triangle with one endpoint on a vertex of the triangle and other endpoint on the opposite side. Not for any pairs of equal cevians the triangle is isosceles. Theorem. If for a triangle ABC there are equal cevians issuing from A and B, which intersect on the bisector or on the median of the angle C, then AC=BC (so the triangle ABC is isosceles). Proposition. Let ABC be an isosceles triangle. Define circle C to be the circle symmetric relative to AB to the circumscribed circle of the triangle ABC. One can notice that quite often difference between so-called "standard students" and "gifted" ones is not because that first are less smart, but they have different "orientation", they consider subject as a collections of rules which should not be broken. The first aim is to overcame this dogmatic point of view on this subject, and only after that possible to judge a person to be talented one or not. This is the first stage of math education, the material needs just to serve it. The technology of overcoming this wrong relation to subject is discoursed in spirit of the I.S.Rubanov paper "Method of Mathematical induction" (see chapter 9, http://www.ams.org/books/mawrld/007/). The aim of this paper is to generalize Apollonius' problem. The problem is to construct a circle that is tangent to three given circles in a plane. We find the maximum possible number of solution circles in the case of more than the three given circles. We show that if all the given circles are not tangent at the same point, then there exist at most six solutions in the case of the four given generalized circles and there exist at most four solutions in the case of the five given generalized circles. The situation surrounding the Olympiads is paradoxical. On the one hand, considerable resources are spent on the Olympiads. On the other hand, there are widespread arguments about the harm of the Olympiads, often very strange ones. For example, there is a perception that success in the Olympiads has little to do with a scientific career. Sometimes it comes to curious assertions, such as that "there are no Olympiad winners among the eminent mathematical researchers," even though in truth the percentage of famous mathematicians among former Olympiad winners is much greater than among those who did not participate in such competitions, Comment: 11 pages, in Russian

We discuss the following folklore problem. On a bookshelf, there are $N$ tomes of the Encyclopedia in random order. Each hour, a librarian takes a tome which stands not on its place, and puts it in its place. Show that the process will stop. A natural additional question is how many moves are required for the process to stop. This note is purely expository and is in Russian. We show how to prove interesting combinatorial results using the local Lovasz lemma. The note is accessible for students having basic knowledge of combinatorics; the notion of independence is defined and the Lovasz lemma is stated and proved. Our exposition follows `Probabilistic methods' of N. Alon and J. Spencer. The main difference is that we show how the proof could have been invented.
