Let G be a reductive group over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic. In this article we show an analogue for Morozov theorem for characteristics that are separably good for G (and under additional hypotheses on the group). This theorem characterises, when p= 0, subalgebras of parabolic subgroups of G with respect to their nilradical. If now k is an arbitrary field, let C be a smooth projective and geometrically connected curve. Let G be a reductive C-group scheme, which is the twisted form of a constant C-group. We prove the Identity Theorem for pro-$p$-groups with a single defining relation giving a positive feedback to a question of Serre on the structure of relation modules. Quasirational presentations ($QR$-presentations) of (pro-$p$)groups are studied. Such presentations include, in particular, aspherical presentations of discrete groups and their subpresentations and pro-$p$-groups with a single defining relation. Let $G$ be a complex connected reductive algebraic group. Given a spherical subgroup $H \subset G$ and a subset $I$ of the set of spherical roots of $G/H$, we define, up to conjugation, a spherical subgroup $H_I \subset G$ of the same dimension of $H$, called a satellite. We investigate various interpretations of the satellites. We also show a close relation between the Poincar\'{e} polynomials of the two spherical homogeneous spaces $G/H$ and $G/H_I$., Comment: 27 pages in English. We study in this paper the jet schemes of the closure of nilpotent orbits in a finite-dimensional complex reductive Lie algebra. For the nilpotent cone, which is the closure of the regular nilpotent orbit, all the jet schemes are irreducible. This was first observed by Eisenbud and Frenkel, and follows from a strong result of Musta\u{t}\c{a} (2001). Using induction and restriction of "little" nilpotent orbits in reductive Lie algebras, we show that for a large number of nilpotent orbits, the jet schemes of their closure are reducible. Codimension 2 complete intersections in P^N have a natural parameter space \bar{H}: a projective bundle over a projective space given by the choice of the lower degree equation and of the higher degree equation up to a multiple of the first. Motivated by the question of existence of complete families of smooth complete intersections, we study the birational geometry of \bar{H}. In a first part, we show that the first contraction of the MMP for \bar{H} always exists and we describe it. Then, we show that it is possible to run the full MMP for \bar{H}, and we describe it, in two degenerate cases. The object of the paper is the dependence of Koszul complexes and dependence of dual Koszul complexes of two systems of non-homogeneous polynomials, when one system is a part of other system, in connection with the duality in a Koszul complex established by author earlier. Whence, the dependence of Koszul complexes and dependence of dual Koszul complexes follow when one system is linearly expressed through other system. We study equations in four variables (x,y,z,t) of the shape q(x,y,z)=P(t), where q(x,y,z) is an indefinite ternary quadratic form over the integers and P(t) is a polynomial in one variable with integral coefficients. If P(t) is not the product of a constant and the square of a polynomial, strong approximation holds for integral solutions (x,y,z,t). In the general case, we show that the integral Brauer-Manin conditions are the only obstructions to strong approximation. We prove that a normal variety contains finitely many maximal quasi-projective open subvarieties. As a corollary, we obtain the following generalization of the Chevalley-Kleiman projectivity criterion : a normal variety is quasi-projective if and only if every finite subset is contained in an affine open subvariety. We realize the logarithm of the third smallest known Salem number as the topological entropy of a K3 surface automorphism with a Siegel disk and a pointwisely fixed curve at the same time. We also show the logarithm of the Lehmer number, the smallest known Salem number, is not realizable as the topological entropy of any Enriques surface automorphism. It is proposed the algorithm that find a basis of the ideal and a basis of the space of all root functionals by using the extension operation for bounded root functionals, when the number of polynomials is equal to the number of variables, if it is known that the ideal of polynomials is 0-dimensional. The asyptotic complexity of this algorithm is d^{O(n)} operations, where n is the number of polynomials and the number of variables, d is the maximal degree of polynomials. A root functional is a linear functional that is defined on a polynomial ring and annuls the ideal of a system of polynomials. An integer may be represented by a quadratic form over each ring of p-adic integers and over the reals without being represented by this quadratic form over the integers. More generally, such failure of a local-global principle may occur for the representation of one integral quadratic form by another integral quadratic form. We show that many such examples may be accounted for by a Brauer-Manin obstruction for the existence of integral points on schemes defined over the integers. In this paper, we describe on the one hand, all relative minimal models Y of a minuscule Schubert variety X using some combinatorics on quivers and we prove that the morphism from Y to X is small (in the sense of intersection cohomology). On the other hand, thanks to a result of B. Totaro, any small resolution Z of a minuscule Schubert variety X has to be a relative minimal model of X. So X admits a small resolution if and only if there exists a smooth relative minimal model Y of X. We give a combinatoric criterion for Y to be smooth describing in this way all small resolutions of X. We also use stringy polynomials and the relative canonical model to give another way to tell when a minuscule Schubert variety admits a small resolution., Comment: 64 pages, in english. This is a survey on the ancient question : Let G be a reductive group over an algebraically closed field k and let V be a vector space over k with an almost free linear action of G on V. Let k(V) denote the field of rational functions on V. Is the subfield of G-invariants of k(V) purely transcendental over k ? For G connected, this is still an open question. After a discussion of general matters (various notions of rationality, various notions of quotients, the no-name lemma), we consider several specific groups G. We then discuss the unramified Brauer group of a function field and describe the work of Saltman and of Bogomolov, leading to computations of the unramified Brauer group of fields of G-invariants. Ax gave examples of fields of cohomological dimension 1 which are not C_1-fields. Kato and Kuzumaki asked whether a weak form of the C_1-property holds for all fields of cohomological dimension 1 (existence of solutions in extensions of coprime degree rather than existence of a solution in the ground field). Using work of Merkur'ev and Suslin, and of Rost, D. Madore and I produced examples which show that the answer is in the negative. In the present note, I produce examples which require less work than the original ones. In the original paper, some of the examples were given by forms of degree 3 in 4 variables. Let X be a minuscule Schubert variety and $\alpha$ a class of 1-cycle on X. In this article we describe the irreducible components of the scheme of morphisms of class $\alpha$ from a rational curve to X. The irreducible components are described in the following way : the class $\alpha$ can be seen as an element of $Pic(X)^*$ the dual of the Picard group. Because any Weil-divisor need not to be a Cartier-divisor, there is (only) a surjective map $s:A^1(X)^*\to Pic(X)^*$ from the dual of the group of codimension 1 cycles to the dual of the Picard group. The irreducible components are given by the effective elements $\beta$ in $A^1(X)^*$ such that $s(\beta)=\alpha$. The proof of the result uses the Bott-Samelson resolution Y of X. We prove that any curve on X can be lifted in Y (after deformation). This is because any divisor on minuscule Schubert variety is a moving one. Then we prove that any curve coming from X can be deformed so that it does not meet the contracted divisor of $Y\to X$. This is possible because for minuscule Schubert variety there are lines in the projectivised tangent space to a singularity. Let G/Q be an homogeneous variety embedded in a projective space P thanks to an ample line bundle L. Take a projective space containing P and form the cone X over G/Q, we call this a cone over an homogeneous variety. Let $\alpha$ a class of 1-cycle on X. In this article we describe the irreducible components of the scheme of morphisms of class $\alpha$ from a rational curve to X. The situation depends on the line bundle L : if the projectivised tangent space to the vertex contains lines (i.e. if G/Q contains lines in P) then the irreducible components are described as in our paper math.AG/0407123 by the difference between Cartier and Weil divisors. On the contrary if there is no line in the projectivised tangent space to the vertex then there are new irreducible components corresponding to the multiplicity of the curve through the vertex. The purpose of this article is to give formulas for Bloch-Kato's exponential map and its dual for an absolutely crystalline p-adic representation V, in terms of the (phi,Gamma)-module associated to that representation. As a corollary of these computations, we can give a very simple (and slightly improved) description of Perrin-Riou's exponential map (which interpolates Bloch-Kato's exponentials for V(k)). In this note we present pairs of hyperkaehler orbifolds which satisfy two different versions of mirror symmetry. On the one hand, we show that their Hodge numbers (or more precisely, stringy E-polynomials) are equal. On the other hand, we show that they satisfy the prescription of Strominger, Yau, and Zaslow (which in the present case goes back to Bershadsky, Johansen, Sadov and Vafa): that a Calabi-Yau and its mirror should fiber over the same real manifold, with special Lagrangian fibers which are tori dual to each other. Our examples arise as moduli spaces of local systems on a curve with structure group SL(n); the mirror is the corresponding space with structure group PGL(n).
