Abstract

This work presents numerical simulation of temperature distribution in active medium of thin slab geometry laser. influence of different parameters such as absorption coefficient, pump beam power, cooler temperature and thickness of indium slab is discussed. it is shown that increasing any of those parameters causes temperature raise.
