Agile Management is a project and team management method that promotes flexibility and adaptability. In the education system, Agile Management can be applied in developing and implementing educational programs, research projects, or the Management of educational organizations. Agile Leadership, on the other hand, involves creating a culture of collaboration and trust within an organization, where individuals are empowered to take on their work and contribute to the organization's success. This involves developing a shared vision and purpose and promoting transparency, openness, and continuous learning. Agile Management and Leadership enable organizations to respond more to changing customer needs and market conditions while fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Agile management, a promising way of optimising organisational structures, is increasingly used in libraries as well. The focus of agile transformation is, however, mostly dedicated to the use of tools and techniques leading to frustration and resistance on the side of library staff. If, on the other hand, there is an awareness of agile principles and values, and a willingness to adapt these tools to empirically based needs of both library staff and users, agile transformation can succeed. This is illustrated by various examples at the level of projects, teams and the overall organisation of libraries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

DIGITAL transformation ,SMALL business ,GROUNDED theory ,PROJECT management ,ORGANIZATIONAL change - Abstract
With the digital transformation, companies will experience a change that focuses on shaping the organization into an agile organizational form. In today's competitive and fast-moving business environment, it is necessary to react quickly to changing market conditions. Agility represents a promising option for overcoming these challenges. The path to an agile organization represents a development process that requires consideration of countless levels of the enterprise. This paper examines the impact of digital transformation on agile working practices and the benefits that can be achieved through technology. To enable a solution for today's so-called VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity und Ambiguity) world, agile ways of working can be applied project management requires adaptation. In the qualitative study, expert interviews were conducted and analyzed using the grounded theory method. As a result, a model can be presented that shows the influencing factors and potentials of agile management in the context of the digital transformation of medium-sized companies. The article proposes a model of a probabilistic neural network in order to ensure a sufficient level of economic security through the introduction of agile enterprise management system. It is built on the basis of statistical classifiers highlighting the degree of threats to economic security of enterprise. An input matrix for a probabilistic neural network was developed and a target matrix of classes (states) was formed. A probabilistic neural network was built in the environment using the built-in Matlab-function «newpnn», based on the proposed matrices. A list of management decisions that is a response to determined degree of threat was identified for each degree of threat to economic security. Detailing of management decisions in terms of individual components allows managers to understand the response to the current threat from the standpoint of effective management. Also, availability of alternatives expands opportunities for managers to improve existing management system in various directions. Implementation of management decisions using a neural network can reduce the degree of threats to economic security of enterprise. The article forms a target matrix of lists of actions of company's management and a crucial probabilistic neural network is built in Matlab environment. The implementation of the proposed approach is tested on the example of a particular enterprise, which indicates its suitability for practical use and solution of applied practical problems. Accordingly, the proposals developed in the study on the use of neural network allow a management of enterprise to respond quickly to current threats and risks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

WOMEN'S empowerment ,WOMEN employees ,COMPUTER software development ,LABOR market ,LABOR supply - Abstract
The discrimination of women within the labor market has a vertical as well as a horizontal dimension. These dimensions culminate in the problem of highly skilled jobs within the technical sector. The proportion of women amongst employees and students in this area is very limited, the reasons for this often being old-fashioned bureaucratic structures and a hierarchical corporate culture. Despite these forms of organization, agile frameworks, which are becoming increasingly popular and important, especially within software development, are setting the benchmark for teambased structures as well as a corporate culture based on communication and cooperation. The research questions posed are therefore whether agile frameworks could be used to increase the attractiveness of jobs within the software development sector for women as well as to increase opportunities for women's empowerment within this sector. To answer these questions briefly, this paper focuses on new agile management roles as well as on women software developers in several European countries. Therefore, we will see that there are opportunities for empowering women but there is also - once again - a risk of gender stereotyping. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The global competition requires from industries New Product Developments (NPD) with innovation, speed and flexibility, which has to be tightly connected with new manufacturing technologies, in order to achieve success and constant growth. Additive Manufacturing (AM) is an emerging technology from Industry 4.0 capable to address such challenges. It provides better and functional product development, promptly allowing running tests and reducing time to market, promoting agility, as a whole. Parallel evolution is in course regarding the theory of Agile Project Management (APM) applied to NPD, especially when conducting development of innovative products and technologies. However, to achieve the whole benefits with such new approaches towards the NPD process, it is necessary to study and understand how to combine AM and APM for improve NPD. The present research proposes an innovative framework to manage NPD with AM, incorporating APM envisioning innovative products, customer involvement and successfully obtaining a final product faster than conventional routes. The proposal is based on a rigorous Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which identified the most appropriate practices to be combined to promote a NPD with agility and flexibility when using AM. All concepts and practices were analyzed and systematically organized, generating the proposed framework. The result can be a reference model to companies conjointly adopt AM and APM. In the fifth generation (5G) era, the radio internet protocol capacity is expected to reach 20 Gb/s per sector, and ultralarge content traffic will travel across a faster wireless/wireline access network and packet core network. Moreover, the massive and mission‐critical Internet of Things is the main differentiator of 5G services. These types of real‐time and large‐bandwidth‐consuming services require a radio latency of less than 1 ms and an end‐to‐end latency of less than a few milliseconds. By distributing 5G core nodes closer to cell sites, the backhaul traffic volume and latency can be significantly reduced by having mobile devices download content immediately from a closer content server. In this paper, we propose a novel solution based on software‐defined network and network function virtualization technologies in order to achieve agile management of 5G core network functionalities with a proof‐of‐concept implementation targeted for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics and describe the results of interoperability testing experiences between two core networks. Business processes represent an important core component of the company's activities and should be therefore more considerate. It takes a long time until the processes modeled down to the smallest detail, analyzed and designed. When these steps have been completed, often the process will not be adapted. Here would be an agile approach interesting to be flexible on trends and enterprise decisions which will have any dependencies to the processes. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to develop a holistic approach, in which the advantages of the previous models can be optimally used and the current challenges such as the desired agility can be included. The research methodology used in the investigation consists of a combination of methods and tools of Business Process Management (BPM) and agile management. The aim of the research is to evaluate whether these methods can contribute positively to the process modeling improvement in the framework of the Enterprise Information System. The finding of this research consists of a holistic model for acting agile within BPM. This allows companies to act flexible to adapt or implement enterprise processes. The resulting added value can be seen in the model for flexible implementation with regular controlling which are set apart from the previous rigid waterfall models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
