Background: Parkinson’s disease (PD) represents the second most common neurodegenerative disease. Objective: To evaluate the effects of dance therapy (DT) aimed at improving non-motor symptoms in PD. Methods: Studies were performed through PubMed, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, Embase, and Science Direct from inception to October 27, 2021. The data were screened independently by two reviewers, and the quality of the papers was assessed using the Cochrane manual. The included studies were randomized controlled trials and quasi-randomized controlled trials, reporting random-effects standardized mean differences, and 95% confidence intervals as the effect size. I2statistics were used to assess heterogeneity. The main outcomes included the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MOCA), Baker Depression Scale (BDI), Parkinson’s Fatigue Scale (FPS-16), and Apathy Scale (AS). RevMan 5.3 software was integrated for meta-analysis. Results: Nine literatures were analyzed for the meta-analysis with a total of 307 patients. Random effects showed that DT significantly improved cognitive of PD (MD = 1.50, 95% CI [0.52, 2.48], P= 0.0003; I2= 51%). However, this meta-analysis demonstrated that dance therapy had no significance for improving depression (MD = − 1.33, 95% CI [− 4.11, 1.45], P= 0.35; I2= 79%), fatigue (MD = 0.26, 95% CI [− 0.31, 0.83], P= 0.37; I2= 0%), and apathy (MD = 0.07, 95% CI [− 2.55, 2.69], P= 0.96; I2= 50%). Conclusion: The meta-analysis suggests that dance can improve cognitive function in PD.

To understand the function of cortical circuits, it is necessary to catalog their cellular diversity. Past attempts to do so using anatomical, physiological or molecular features of cortical cells have not resulted in a unified taxonomy of neuronal or glial cell types, partly due to limited data. Single-cell transcriptomics is enabling, for the first time, systematic high-throughput measurements of cortical cells and generation of datasets that hold the promise of being complete, accurate and permanent. Statistical analyses of these data reveal clusters that often correspond to cell types previously defined by morphological or physiological criteria and that appear conserved across cortical areas and species. To capitalize on these new methods, we propose the adoption of a transcriptome-based taxonomy of cell types for mammalian neocortex. This classification should be hierarchical and use a standardized nomenclature. It should be based on a probabilistic definition of a cell type and incorporate data from different approaches, developmental stages and species. A community-based classification and data aggregation model, such as a knowledge graph, could provide a common foundation for the study of cortical circuits. This community-based classification, nomenclature and data aggregation could serve as an example for cell type atlases in other parts of the body.

Effective treatment of dye wastewater is currently a great concern and a research hotspot. Electrocatalysis has unique advantages in treating toxic and harmful refractory dye wastewater; however, it requires an external power supply, which increases energy consumption and cost. As a new energy collection technology, triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) have gained considerable attention. In this study, an origami multilayer spherical friction nanogenerator (Q-TENG) was developed for the removal of methylene blue (MB) from dye wastewater. The current and voltage output performances of Q-TENG were explored, and the removal and degradation mechanisms of MB were discussed. Results indicated that when the water wave acceleration a= 3 m/s2, the open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current reached the maximum values of 179 V and 9.4 μA, respectively. The self-powered catalytic degradation of MB using Q-TENG can produce more •OH and SO4–•, and the free radicals increase with increasing action time of Q-TENG, thus increasing the degradation efficiency of MB. This study provides a new strategy for solving the problem of high energy consumption during electrochemical reactions in wastewater treatment.

This study explored the association of marital transitions and frailty among Chinese middle-aged and older people and whether this association differs by social support.

Despite the proliferation of health and nursing informatics applications in the past decade, factors influencing consumer acceptance of the applications are not well understood. This study was conducted to investigate factors affecting acceptance of a consumer-used nursing informatics application (ie, online health information portal) within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model. A cross-sectional study was conducted in which 201 Chinese young adults were invited to participate in usability testing with a typical health information portal and to complete a self-report questionnaire measuring the model's constructs and five hypothesized variables drawn from consumer and portal characteristics. Hierarchical regression analyses were used to test research hypotheses. Fifteen of the 22 research hypotheses were supported. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness predicted satisfaction and behavioral intention, respectively, over and above the portal and consumer characteristics examined in the study. All portal and consumer characteristics had significant, although varied, impacts on the original model constructs. This study demonstrated that an adapted Technology Acceptance Model, extended with portal and consumer characteristics, provides an effective means to understand consumer acceptance of health portals. The findings hold important implications for design and implementation strategies to increase the likelihood of acceptance of consumer-used nursing informatics applications.

Crystallization of two enantiomers Δ-1and Λ-1was achieved by using an achiral flexible ligand H4L (2,2′-[1,2-ethanediylbis[(hydroxyethylimino)methylene]]bis[6-methoxy-4-methyl-phenol]). The absolute configurations of the enantiomers in P3121 (Δ-1) and P3221 (Λ-1) are confirmed by the X-ray single crystal diffraction. Solid-state circular dichroism spectra show that two enantiomers have absorption peaks of mirror symmetry. The experimental energy barrier of 88.9 K derived from the alternating-current magnetic measurements is consistent with the energy gap (89.9 K) between two lowest Kramers doublets calculated by ab initiomethod.

Here, we use a pyridinecarbaldehyde rhodamine 6G hydrazone ligand (L) to synthesize an Fe(II) complex 1for the search of new fluorescent-spin crossover (SCO) materials. Single-crystal structural determinations suggest that the Fe(II) ion is chelated by two ring-opened ligands (L-o) to form a FeN4O2coordination environment, and intermolecular π---π contacts of the xanthene groups connect the adjacent molecules to form a supramolecular one-dimensional chain. Magnetic susceptibility measurements on complex 1show that three-step SCO takes place in the temperature range of 120–350 K, and its desolvated form 1-dexhibits SCO around room temperature (Tc↑ = 343 K and Tc↓ = 303 K) with a wide hysteresis loop of 40 K. Moreover, complex 1-ddisplays light-induced excited spin-state trapping phenomenon. Intriguingly, the fluorescence intensity of the maximum emission at 560 nm for complex 1-ddisplays discontinuous variation in the range of 250–400 K, indicative of the occurrence of synergetic fluorescence and SCO.

Three new dysprosium(III) complexes [Dy2(HL1-o)2(L1)(NO3)3][Dy(NO3)5]·1.5ACE·0.5Et2O (1), [Dy(L1)3]·2.5MeOH·MeCN (2), and [Dy(L2)3]·MeOH·MeCN (3) (HL1= rhodamine B salicylaldehyde hydrazine, HL2= rhodamine B 3-methylsalicylaldehyde hydrazine) were synthesized and characterized. Purple complex 1contains two ring-open ligands HL1-o and shows fluorescence of the rhodamine amide moiety, whereas yellow complexes 2and 3are comprised of ring-close ligands (L1/2)−and display fluorescence of the salicylaldehyde Schiff base part. For 2and 3, Dy(III) ions are nine coordinated by the six oxygen and three nitrogen atoms of three chelate (L1/2)−ligands, but the arrangements of the three ligands are different owing to the methyl substituent on HL2. There are three short predominant Dy–Ophenoxybonds in 2and 3. The largest Ophenoxy–Dy–Ophenoxyangle is 148.64(17)° for 2and 89.63(13)° for 3. Magnetic studies reveal that complex 2is a field-induced single-molecule magnet (Ueff= 104.2 K under a dc magnetic field of 2000 Oe), and 3exhibits only a magnetic relaxation behavior owing to the quantum tunneling of magnetization (QTM). Furthermore, ab initio calculations illustrate that the disposition of predominant Dy–Ophenoxybonds affects the magnetic anisotropy of the Dy(III) ions and relaxation processes of complexes 2and 3.

Depression is highly prevalent in individuals with diabetes, and depressive symptoms are less responsive to current antidepressant therapies. Oxidative stress plays a major role both in the pathogenesis of diabetes and in major depression and anxiety disorders. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), the third gaseous mediator, is a novel signaling molecule in the brain that has both antioxidative activity and antidepressant-like and anxiolytic-like effects. We hypothesized that H2S could produce antidepressant-like and anxiolytic-like effects in diabetic patients through its antioxidative effect. To test this hypothesis, we generated streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. We found that H2S alleviated depressive-like behaviors of STZ-induced diabetic rats in the forced swimming and tail suspension tests and reduced their anxiety-like behaviors in the elevated plus maze test. We also found that H2S significantly reduced levels of malondialdehyde and 4-hydroxynonenal and elevated levels of superoxide dismutase and reduced glutathione in the hippocampus of STZ-induced diabetic rats. The results provide evidence for antidepressant-like and anxiolytic-like effects of H2S in STZ-induced diabetic rats and suggest that the therapeutic effects may result from inhibition of hippocampal oxidative stress. These findings suggest that elevating H2S signaling is a potential target for treatment of depressive and anxiety disorders related to diabetes.

The binding mechanisms of the interaction of three dihydromyricetin (DMY)–metal complexes (DMY–Cu (II) complex, DMY–Mn (II) complex, DMY–Zn (II) complex) and DMY with bovine serum albumin (BSA) were investigated using fluorescence and ultraviolet spectroscopy at different temperatures. The results indicated some differences in the binding process between different DMY–metal complexes and BSA compared with that of free DMY. All of the complexes and DMY quenched the fluorescence of BSA based on static mode combined with radiationless energy transfer, yet having different binding distance based on the Förster theory. Different DMY–metal complexes can change the binding constants. The binding constants increase for DMY–Cu (II) and DMY–Mn (II) complexes, whereas the opposite is true for the DMY–Zn (II) complex compared to the one with free DMY. The DMY–metal complexes can also affect the types of the interaction. The van der Waals forces and hydrogen bonding may play a major role in the interaction of free DMY with BSA, while for the three complexes, the nature of the binding forces lies in hydrophobic forces and hydrogen bonding based on the thermodynamic parameters.

Indigo carmine (IC) is one of the oldest, most important and highly toxic dyes used and released in the effluents of many industries, such as textile, paper and plastics. Biogenic Mn oxides (BMO) were prepared by culturing Marinobacter sp. MnI7-9 in presence of Mn (II). The Point of Zero Charge (PZC) of the BMO is 7.5 by salt titration method. The surface area (BET) is 27.68 m2 g-1 by the nitrogen adsorption-desorption method. The adsorption kinetics of low concentration IC (5 mg L-1) on the BMO fit the pseudo-first order model, while the adsorption kinetics of higher concentration IC (20 mg L-1) fit the pseudo-second order model. Intra-particle diffusion is an important rate-controlling step. The equilibrium adsorption data fit well in the Langmuir isotherm equation. The maximal adsorption capacity is 115.61 mg g-1 at 25¡æ. A larger IC removal amount can be obtained when the amount of the BMO is 2 g L-1 at pH 6.5. These results suggest that the BMO can be used as an efficient material for IC removal from aqueous solution.

The carbon emission control of Industrial Transfer Park is analyzed from four aspects. Metrics of these four aspects are energy consumption per industrial value added of leading industry, carbon emissions intensity of buildings, carbon emissions intensity of transportation and carbon sinks. On this basis, 36 industrial transfer parks in Guangdong province are analyzed with the method of Hierarchical cluster in order to explore practical measures to reduce carbon emissions in the parks.

An index system of low-carbon Industrial Transfer Park has been constructed form six aspects, which are planning, management, infrastructure, industry ecosystem, human life and carbon sinks. The park is evaluated by using the analytic hierarchy process and the extension method. The evaluation model is more comprehensive and objective than others to assess the degree of carbon emissions of the industrial park.

Nanocomposite materials (IL-sg) of hydroxyl-functionalised ionic liquid 1-hydroxyethyl-3-methlyimidazolium dicyanamide E OH MImN(CN) 2 physically confined into mesoporous silica gel are synthesised according to a proper sol-gel process. The silica gel has disordered wormhole-like pore structure and average pore diameter of 3.3–6.2 nm. The materials exhibit notably enhanced fluorescence emissions compared with pure IL. The hydroxyl group on the cation of IL has an obvious effect on the fluorescence emissions of pure IL and the materials, i.e. the emission intensity of pure E OH MImN(CN) 2 is c.a. 1.8 times stronger than that of pure IL 1-ethyl-3-methlyimidazolium dicyanamide EMImN(CN) 2 , however, the emission intensity of E OH MImN(CN) 2 -sg is c.a. two times weaker than that of EMImN(CN) 2 -sg.

In order to research on the elevation amplification effect of blasting vibrational velocity of bench Blasting, Using FEM program of LS-DYNA, based on the simplified blasthole theory, established the single blasthole 140mm finite element model , draw elevation amplification is not unlimited magnified, but first increasing with elevation to certain extreme value , and then reducing along with the elevation .

The reason influence blasting is consist of the quality of mixed ANFO explosion and management etc. Mixed ANFO explosion get the optimum proportion of diesel, field experiment is done, the biggest detonation velocity,smallest detonation velocity and average detonation velocity , detonation change along with the diesel allocated proportion increasing. Optimum proportion of diesel is 5.0%, it has important significance for blasting construction.

In order to obtain blasting vibration attenuation rule of a soil-rock blasting, the basis theory may provide for later blasting construction, after the blasting vibration monitoring of blasting construction ,the correlation coefficient K and α can be obtained by sodev’s empirical formula and its linear correlation coefficient is significant,the result has guiding significance in blasting construction. Regression formula error is between 6% to 23% in vertical, between 17% to 25% in horizontal radial and between 4% to 25%. If inflection point is eliminated, and the blasting is safety to the nearby buildings. The analysis results has its guiding significance.

Because of their unique properties, gold nanoparticles(NPs) show a wide range of applications such as surface-enhanced raman characteristics, biological sensing, biomedical and other fields. Different initial concentrations of Bull Serum Albumin(BSA) and egg white lysozyme respectively react with different size of gold nanoparticles. The condition of adsorption is determined by spectrometry method, then the area of protein with different molecular mass on the surface of a gold nanoparticle is calculated. The results show that the larger particle size of a gold nanoparticle is, the more protein the surface a gold nanoparticle adsorbs; the smaller the molecular mass of protein is, the more protein is adsorbed by gold nanoparticles surface.

A series of polydimethylsiloxanes containing two primary hydroxyl groups at one single chain end were synthesized by five-step reactions which included esterification, hydroxyl protection, anionic ring-opening polymerization, hydrosilylation and deprotection. The prepared compounds in each step were characterized. The results showed that each step synthesis was successfully carried out and objective products could be achieved.

Several seven-transmembrane chemokine receptors are known to function as entry coreceptors for human immunodeficiency virus type 1. CCR5 and CXCR4 are the major coreceptors for non-syncytium-inducing (NSI) and syncytium-inducing (SI) viruses, respectively. During the natural course of infection, the emergence of variants with a phenotypic transition from NSI to SI and rapid disease progression is associated with expanded coreceptor usage to CXCR4. Characteristic amino acids at several positions in the hypervariable region 3 (V3) of gp120 have been linked to CXCR4 utilization. Previously, we reported that a highly conserved arginine residue of V3 played an important role in CCR5 utilization. In this study, the possible involvement of the same arginine residue in CXCR4 utilization was investigated. Amino acid substitutions introduced to this arginine on R5X4 viruses were found to have a significant effect on their utilization of CXCR4. These results, taken together with those reported previously, suggest that this highly conserved arginine may contribute to the functional convergence of chemokine coreceptor utilization by human immunodeficiency viruses and may represent a unique target for future antiviral design.

A fluorescent β-carboline, 1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-β -carboline-3-carboxylic acid (MTCA) was identified in human normal lenses and cataractous lenses. The mean total amounts of MTCA in normal lenses (n=7), diabetic cataractous lenses (n=15), and senile cataractous lenses (n=15) were 0.64±0.76ng, 1.79±0.94ng, and 3.66±1.04ng, respectively. The MTCA levels in human lenses increased linearly with the age of the lenses, and there was a significant correlation between the total amount of MTCA in human lenses and the age of the lens. In all types of lenses, the concentrations of MTCA in the insoluble-protein fraction [pg(mg protein)-1] were significantly higher than those in the water-soluble protein fraction. These results suggest that MTCA may be one of the age-related fluorogens. In vitro experiments revealed that MTCA, a condensation reaction product of tryptophan with acetaldehyde, can be formed in the mixture of tryptophan and glucose by low temperature heating. Furthermore, the MTCA levels in the homogenate of cataractous lenses were significantly increased with the heating time, when the homogenate without addition of glucose and tryptophan was heated at 60°C. This indicates that enough material such as tryptophan for MTCA formation is present in human cataractous lenses. Therefore, it may be that MTCA is formed in human lens. However, we can not rule out the possibility that MTCA in the lens may be derived from other sources, and deposited in the lens since MTCA is reported to be present in various foodstuffs and alcoholic beverages.

Gold nanoparticles(GNPs) are very suitable for the drug carrier because of their intrinsic properties. Protein- or peptide- type drugs are popular at present with their high treatments. So the research of gold nanoparticles conjunction with proteins is attractive now. In this paper, the conjunction calculated relationships between gold nanoparticles and the protein are researched. Bull Serum Albumin (BSA) and Egg White Lysozyme (EWL) and two different sizes of gold nanoparticles are checked. The condition of conjunction is determined by spectrometry, followed by calculating the binding protein quantity of the surface of a gold nanoparticle and occupied area of a single protein. The results show that the quantity of bound protein in the surface of a gold nanoparticle increases with the particle size of gold nanoparticle; while more proteins are bound by gold nanoparticles when the molecular mass of protein is smaller.
