The article focuses on the study that examines the roles of patients in patient safety. The study was performed on patients who have acute care visit, wherein they were given questionnaires which conveyed questions related to patient safety and medical mistakes. It reveals that based from the responses of the respondents, they believed that patients must trust the hospital's capability of giving them safe care. It adds that patients must be passive, which means they must obey to instructions.
