Abstract

The article presents a study which reveals the therapeutic acitivity of l-3-n-butylphthalide against vascular dementia through activation of the Akt kinase pathway in mice. Among the topics include green botanical medicine 3-N-butylphthalid, acute ischemic stroke treatment, and neural regeneration. It mentions that l-3-n-butylphthalide can be a beneficial drug for the treatment and prevention of vascular dementia.
