Phosphoric acid-modified biochar (PMBC) was prepared using biochar (BC) as the carbon source and phosphoric acid as the activating agent. The PMBC exhibited an ordered vessel structure after deashing treatment, but the sidewalls became much rougher, the polarity (O/C atomic ratio of BC = 0.2320 and O/C atomic ratio of PMBC = 0.1604) decreased, and the isoelectric points (PI of BC = 5.22 and PI of PMBC = 5.51) and specific surface area (SSA of BC = 55.322 m2/g and SSA of PMBC = 62.285 m2/g) increased. The adsorption characterization of the removal of sulfadiazine (SDZ) from PMBC was studied. The adsorption of SDZ by PMBC was in accordance with the Langmuir isotherm model and the pseudo-second-order kinetics model, and the adsorption thermodynamics were shown as Gibbs free energy < 0, an enthalpy change of 19.157 kJ/mol, and an entropy change of 0.0718 kJ/(K·mol). The adsorption of SDZ by PMBC was a complicated monolayer adsorption that was spontaneous, irreversible, and endothermic, and physical adsorption and chemical adsorption occurred simultaneously. The adsorption process was controlled by microporous capture, electrostatic interactions, hydrogen-bond interactions, and π–π interactions. PMBC@TiO2photocatalysts with different mass ratios between TiO2and PMBC were prepared viathe in situsol–gel method. PMBC@TiO2exhibited both an ordered vessel structure (PMBC) and irregular particles (TiO2), and it was linked viaTi–O–C bonds. The optimal mass ratio between TiO2and PMBC was 3:1. The removal of SDZ viaPMBC@TiO2was dependent on the coupling of adsorption and photocatalysis. The PMBC-enhanced photocatalytic performance of PMBC@TiO2resulted in a higher absorption of UV and visible light, greater generation of reactive oxygen species, high levels of adsorption of SDZ on PMBC, and the conjugated structure and oxygen-containing functional groups that promoted the separation efficiency of the hole–electron pairs.

The ZnO nanorod was synthesized by the hydrothermal method, and Cu/ZnO nanorod was synthesized by modifying the prepared ZnO nanorod. The TEM was used to characterize the morphology and microstructure for ZnO and Cu/ZnO nanorod. The length of nanorod ZnO was about 700-800 nm, and the diameter about 40-50 nm. There was no change of ZnO in length and diameter when doped with Cu. The degradation of methylene blue (MB) in an aqueous solution under sunlight irradiation was carried out to evaluate the photocatalytic activity. The Cu/ZnO nanorod shows significantly higher photocatalytic activity (99.91%) than ZnO nanorod (89.66%) under sunlight irradiation. The degradation of MB accords with pseudo-first order kinetics, and the appear rate constants kapp of 7% Cu/ZnO nanorod was about 3 times higher than ZnO nanorod. The synergetic effect between ZnO nanorod and Cu on the photocatalytic degradation of MB exists clearly for all the nanorods, and the optimum synergetic effect was found at a weight ratio of 7 wt % (Cu/ZnO). It hoped our works could provide valuable information on the synthesis and application of ZnO-based heterogeneous photocatalysis.

Aim:Our preliminary results show that huperzine A, an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor used to treat Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients in China, exhibits different pharmacokinetic features in elderly and young healthy subjects. However, its pharmacokinetic data in elderly subjects remains unavailable to date. Thus, we developed a population pharmacokinetic (PPK) model of huperzine A in elderly Chinese people, and identified the covariate affecting its pharmacokinetics for optimal individual administration.Methods:A total of 341 serum huperzine A concentration records was obtained from 2 completed clinical trials (14 elderly healthy subjects in a phase I pharmacokinetic study; 35 elderly AD patients in a phase II study). Population pharmacokinetic analysis was performed using the non-linear mixed-effect modeling software Phoenix NLME1.1.1. The effects of age, gender, body weight, height, creatinine, endogenous creatinine clearance rate as well as drugs administered concomitantly were analyzed. Bootstrap and visual predictive checks were used simultaneously to validate the final population pharmacokinetics models.Results:The plasma concentration-time profile of huperzine A was best described by a one-compartment model with first-order absorption and elimination. Age was identified as the covariate having significant influence on huperzine A clearance. The final PPK model of huperzine A was: CL (L/h)=2.4649*(age/86)(−3.3856), Ka=0.6750 h−1, V (L)=104.216. The final PPK model was demonstrated to be suitable and effective by the bootstrap and visual predictive checks.Conclusion:A PPK model of huperzine A in elderly Chinese subjects is established, which can be used to predict PPK parameters of huperzine A in the treatment of elderly AD patients.

AbstractFaultline configurations in top management teams are of vital importance in predicting firm outcomes. Grounded in faultline theory, we hypothesise the positive effects of faultlines through the dual routes of coordination and information processing under conditions of various subgroup configuration types. Second-hand data from publicly traded Chinese information technology firms are used to test our hypotheses. The results demonstrate that TMT faultline strength is positively related to a firm’s short-term performance only when both the number and the balance of subgroups are high and is positively related to a firm’s innovation activities only when the number of subgroups is high and the balance of subgroups is low. This study contributes to faultline theory by enriching the connotation of faultlines with the configurational perspective and advancing the debate on the effects of team faultlines as we reveal the benefits of TMT faultlines.

Focus on poor dynamic of magnetic levitation control,the maglev real-time information display system was designed.This system was made of magnetic base,STM32 controller,maglev display.Aim at defects and poor of the suspension stability control and anti-disturbance ability,bulid the model of the system,the fuzzy PID integrated control solution was implemented in STM32 controller,to achieve control of magnetic screen.And give control system hardware construct and software flow. Experimental testing results show that the system has good stability and dynamic performance.

Precise control of the inclination and azimuth is of great significance for the efficient drilling of dynamic point-the-bit rotary steerable drilling tool. The design details of offsetting steerable mechanism for rotary steerable drilling tool based on inner and outer double eccentric rings are demonstrated in the paper. While drilling, the tool collar rotates and passes the torque and drilling pressure to the drill bit efficiently, and the stable platform mounted inside the collar is maintained geostationary by rotating it counter to collar rotation at the same frequency. And an offsetting steerable mechanism in the stable platform provides selectively and axially inclination to the collar by adjusting the relative position of the inner to the outer double eccentric rings. It is shown that the maximum oriented inclination can be reached as 1.0 degree flexibly for the presented structure.

A hybrid treatment system combining enforced diatomite process followed by biological aerated filters (BAF) was developed for treatment of municipal wastewater. Most pollutants, especially phosphorus, were removed in the enforced diatomite process and BAFs took a role of polishing process. New ceramic filter media and ceramisite agitator were used in two BAFs for comparison. The results showed that when the average influent CODcr was 347mg/L, NH4+-N 49mg/L and TP 6.1mg/L, the removal efficiency was 92.6%, 99.8%, and 96.4% respectively at the operating conditions of precise diatomite dosage of 75mg/L, the sludge reflux ratio 100%, the HRT of 30min in diatomite enhanced primary treatment process and the HRT of 1.5h in BAF.

The numerical simulation method is employed in this paper to study the indoor thermal performance of an existent passive solar house, south internal wall of which is equipped with water thermal storage tanks. The actual measured meteorological data of 2010 in Tianjin is applied in this study to obtain the hourly indoor temperature, and the indoor condition is assessed by the adaptive thermal comfort model. The results indicate that, cooling measures are not required during the summer in Tianjin weather condition when the water thermal storage wall is used combined with natural ventilation technology, thermal storage effect of the wall can reduce the indoor maximum temperature of 4 ℃ while increase the minimum temperature of 3℃, and make regulation of the heating system simple and feasible in the winter.

The experimental research on the strength of the steel bar embedded in the masonry wall is presented in this paper. Six existing masonry buildings of different construction age are concerned in site test. Only the steel bar with diameter of 6mm and embedded depth of 100mm is selected as the specimen for test. Few cases of damage by the rapture of glue are found. The two failure modes as cone rapture of brick and yield of steel bar illustrate the effectiveness of the embedded steel bar. By the pull-off test and side push test, the strength of the embedded steel bar in the masonry wall is got.

Judgement Basis of Operation Sequence and Theoretical Basis of Selection of Water Source Was Put Forward. the Water Network Optimization Program of Matlab Language Was Edited and Applied in a Petrochemical Enterprise. the Result Showed that the Fresh Water Reduction Was 38.31% when the Optimization Method Was Used in one Water System Contaminanted by Sulfur with Nine Operations.

In general, hydrogen permeabilityΦ of the alloy membrane is expressed as the product of the hydrogen diffusion coefficient D and the hydrogen solution coefficient K. Therefore, to improve the hydrogen permeability efficiently, the values of K and D should be separately considered. In the present study, hydrogen absorption and permeation behaviors of the Nb19Ti40Ni41 alloy consisting of the eutectic phase are investigated by measuring pressure-composition-isotherm (PCI) and by the hydrogen flow method and compared with those of palladium. The hydrogen absorption in the Nb19Ti40Ni41 alloy does not obey the Sieverts’ law in the pressure region of 0-1.0MPa at 523K, but it shows linear relationship between the difference in the square root of hydrogen pressure and hydrogen content between 0.1 and 0.4MPa. Although the value of D for the Nb19Ti40Ni41 alloy is considerably lower than that of palladium, its high K value enhances the hydrogen permeability Φ. It is suggested that the enhancement of D by microstructural control for Nb19Ti40Ni41 alloy is effective for improvement of Φ.
