Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) has attracted significant interest in the analysis of cancer cells, where the ruthenium(II)-based emitter demonstrates urgency and feasibility to improve the ECL efficiency. In this work, the self-enhanced ECL luminophore was prepared by covalent anchoring of Pd nanoclusters on aminated metal organic frameworks (Pd NCs@MOFs), followed by linkage with bis(2,2′-bipyridine)-5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline ruthenium(II) (RuP). The resultant luminophore showed 214-fold self-magnification in the ECL efficiency over RuP alone, combined by promoting the interfacial photoelectron transfer. The enhanced mechanism through ion annihilation was critically proved by controlled experiments and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Based on the above, a “signal off” ECL biosensor was built by assembly of tyrosine kinase 7 (PTK-7) aptamer (Apt) on the established sensing platform for analysis of human lung cancer cells (A549). The built sensor showed a lower detection limit of 8 cells mL–1, achieving the single-cell detection. This work reported a self-enhanced strategy for synthesis of advanced ECL emitters, combined by exploring the ECL biosensing devices in the single-cell analysis of cancers.

Nowadays, electrochemiluminescence (ECL) efficiency of an organic emitter is closely related with its potential applications in food safety and environmental monitoring fields. In this work, 2,4,6-tris(4-carboxyphenyl)-1,3,5-triazine (TATB) was self-assembled to form hydrogen bond organic frameworks (HOFs), which worked as ideal reactors to generate highly active oxygen-containing radicals, followed by linking with isoluminol (ILu) via amide bond (termed ILu-HOFs). After covalent assembly with aminated indium–tin oxide electrode (labeled NH2-ITO), the ECL efficiency of the ILu-HOFs NH2-ITO showed about a 23.4-time increase over that of ILu itself in the presence of H2O2. Meanwhile, the enhanced ECL mechanism was mainly studied by electron paramagnetic resonance, theoretical calculation, and electrochemistry. On the above foundation, an aptamer “sandwich” ECL biosensor was constructed for detecting isocarbophos (ICP) via in situelimination of H2O2with catalase-linked palladium nanocubes (CAT-Pd NCs). The as-built sensor showed a broad linear range (1 pM to 100 nM) and a low limit of detection (LOD) down to 0.4 pM, coupled with efficient assays of ICP in lake water and cucumber juice samples. This strategy provides an effective way for the synthesis of advanced ECL emitter, coupled by showing promising applications in environmental and food analysis.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is a life-threatening malignant tumor found around the world for its high morbidity and mortality. Therefore, it is of great importance for sensitive analysis of liver cancer cells (HepG2 cells) in clinical diagnosis and biomedical research. To fulfill this demand, hollow CdIn2S4/In2S3heterostructured microspheres (termed CdIn2S4/In2S3for clarity) were prepared by a two-step hydrothermal strategy and applied for building a novel photoelectrochemical (PEC) cytosensor for ultrasensitive and accurate detection of HepG2 cells through specific recognition of CD133 protein on the cell surface with the respective aptamer. The optical properties of CdIn2S4/In2S3were investigated by UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) and PEC technology. By virtue of their appealing PEC characteristics, the resultant PEC sensor exhibited a wider dynamic linear range from 1 × 102to 2 × 105cells mL–1with a lower limit of detection (LOD, 23 cells mL–1), combined by evaluating the expression level of CD133 protein stimulated by metformin as a benchmarked inhibitor. This work opens a valuable and feasible avenue for sensitive detection of diverse tumor cells, holding great potential in early clinical diagnosis and treatment coupled by screening inhibitors.

Nowadays, aggregation quenching of most organic photosensitizers in aqueous media seriously restricts analytical and biomedical applications of photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensors. In this work, an aggregation-enhanced PEC photosensitizer was prepared by electrostatically bonding protoporphyrin IX (PPIX) with an ionic liquid of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazole tetrafluoroborate ([BMIm][BF4]), termed as PPIX-[BMIm] for clarity. The resultant PPIX-[BMIm] showed weak photocurrent in pure dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO, good solvent), while the PEC signals displayed a 44.1-fold enhancement in a water (poor solvent)/DMSO binary solvent with a water fraction (fw) of 90%. Such PEC-enhanced mechanism was critically studied by electrochemistry and density functional theory (DFT) calculation in some detail. Afterward, a label-free PEC cytosensor was built for ultrasensitive bioassay of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (molt-4) cells by electrodepositing Au nanoparticles (Au NPs) on the PPIX-[BMIm] aggregates and sequential assembly of protein tyrosine kinase (PTK) aptamer DNA (aptDNA). The resultant cytosensor showed a wide linear range (300 to 3 × 105cells mL–1) with a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 63 cells mL–1. The aggregation-enhanced PEC performance offers a valuable and practical pathway for synthesis of advanced organic photosensitizer to explore its PEC applications in early diagnosis of tumors.

In this study, a functionalized magnetic covalent organic framework (NiFe2O4@TAPB-TPA) was fabricated with NiFe2O4nanoparticles as the magnetic core, and 1,3,5-tris(4-aminophenyl)benzene (TAPB) and terephthalaldehyde (TPA) as building blocks by a facile room temperature strategy. Benefitting from the π–π stacking and hydrogen bond interaction, NiFe2O4@TAPB-TPA showed great potential as a magnetic adsorbent for the extraction of tetracyclines (TCs). Under optimal conditions, good linearities (R2> 0.9990) were obtained between the peak area and TC concentration in the range of 1–500 μg L−1with limits of detection ranging from 0.09 to 0.26 μg L−1. The intra-day and inter-day relative standard deviations were less than 2.2% and 4.7%, respectively. The established method was successfully applied for the determination of TCs in diverse environmental water samples with satisfactory recoveries in the range of 91.6–102.7%. In addition, NiFe2O4@TAPB-TPA showed good reusability with the recoveries for TCs higher than 73.1% after nine recycles, indicating potential application of NiFe2O4@TAPB-TPA as an ideal adsorbent for the enrichment of TCs.

Cytochrome c(cyt c) plays a critical role in mitochondrial respiratory chain, whose absence is detrimental to electron transport and reduce adenosine triphosphate. For ultrasensitive detection of cyt c, sheet-like covalent organic frameworks (COFs) were prepared by orderly accumulation of 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxaldehyde (BTA) and p-phenylenediamine (PDA), and further grafted with N-(4-aminobutyl)-N-ethylisoluminol (ABEI) – an electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emitter. Specifically, the morphology and structure of the COFs-ABEI were mainly characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). In parallel, the optical properties of the emitter were certified by UV-vis absorbance spectroscopy, Fourier infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), fluorescence (FL), and ECL measurements, showing 2.25-time enhanced ECL efficiency over pure ABEI, coupled by illustrating the interfacial electron transport mechanism. On the above foundation, a label-free “signal off” ECL biosensor was constructed by virtue of the specific immune recognition between the aptamer of the target cyt cwith its capture DNA (cDNA) anchored on the biosensing platform, exhibiting a wider linear range of 1.00 fg mL−1–0.10 ng mL−1(R2= 0.998) and a lower limit of detection (LOD) down to 0.73 fg mL−1. This work offers some constructive guidelines for sensitive bioassays of disease-related biomarkers in the clinical field.

Nowadays, continuous efforts have been devoted to searching highly efficient electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emitters for applications in clinical diagnosis and food safety. In this work, triazinyl-based hydrogen bond organic frameworks (Tr-HOFs) were synthesized by N···H hydrogen bond self-assembly aggregation, where 6,6′-(1,4-phenylene)bis(1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diamine) (phenyDAT) was prepared viathe cyclization reaction and behaved as a novel ligand. Impressively, the resulting Tr-HOFs showed strong ECL responses with highly enhanced ECL efficiency (21.3%) relative to the Ru(bpy)32+standard, while phenyDAT hardly showed any ECL emission in aqueous phase. The Tr-HOFs innovatively worked as a new ECL luminophore to construct a label-free biosensor for assay of kanamycin (Kana). Specifically, the ECL response greatly weakened upon assembly of captured DNA with ferrocene (cDNA-Fc) onto the Tr-HOFs-modified electrode, while the ECL signals were adversely recovered by releasing linked DNA (L-DNA) from double-stranded DNA (dsDNA, hybridization of aptamer DNA (aptDNA) with L-DNA) due to the specific recognition of Kana with the aptDNA combined by the linkage of L-DNA and cDNA-Fc on the electrode. The as-built sensor showed a broadened linear range (1 nM–10 μM) and a limit of detection (LOD) down to 0.28 nM, which also displayed satisfactory results in the analysis of Kana in the milk and diluted human serum samples. This work offers a novel pathway to design an ECL emitter with organic molecules, holding great promise in biomedical analysis and food detection.

Amorphous 3D pomegranate-like NiCoFe NAs were synthesized via a one-step bi-component cyanogel reduction strategy, showing excellent OER electrocatalytic performances.

In this work, COF-LZU1@PEI@Fe3O4was synthesized by immobilization of COF-LZU1 onto the surface of polyethyleneimine-functionalized Fe3O4nanoparticles (PEI@Fe3O4) and employed as an adsorbent for magnetic dispersive micro-solid phase extraction of tetracyclines (TCs). COF-LZU1@PEI@Fe3O4was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and nitrogen adsorption–desorption isotherms analysis. The optimal extraction and desorption conditions were as follows: 15.00 mL sample solution (pH 7.0) extracted with 5.0 mg of adsorbent for 30 min at 30 °C, and then desorbed with 1.50 mL methanol/acetonitrile/0.02 mol L−1oxalic acid solution (v/v, 1 : 2 : 7). Good linearities were obtained between the peak area and TC concentration ranging from 5–500 μg L−1with correlation coefficients (R2) higher than 0.9992 and limits of detection lower than 0.51 μg L−1. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) of intra-day and inter-day were less than 5.7% and 7.4%, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of TCs in environmental water samples with recoveries in the range of 87.0–113.8% and RSDs less than 5.1%, suggesting great potential of COF-LZU1@PEI@Fe3O4for efficient extraction and analysis of trace TCs in water samples.

Novel and distinct enhancement in electrochemiluminescence (ECL) signals of advanced organic luminophores are of importance for expanding their applications in early diagnosis. This work reported the construction of an ultrasensitive label-free ECL aptasensor for thrombin (TB) detection by grafting zinc proto-porphyrin IX (ZnP) onto an aminated zeolitic imidazole framework-8 (defined as ZnP-NH-ZIF-8 for clarity) as the luminophore. The structure and optical properties of the resulting ZnP-NH-ZIF-8 were carefully characterized. For that, there appeared to be weak ECL radiation for ZnP in dichloromethane (DCM) containing tetra-n-butylammonium perchlorate (TBAP) because of the as-formed singlet-state oxygen via the “reduction–oxidation” route. More notably, the ECL signals display 153-times enhancement for ZnP-NH-ZIF-8, thanks to the excellent catalytic kinetics for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). By virtue of the specific interactions of the TB aptamer (TBA) with the TB protein and the highly efficient catalysis of the ZnP-NH-ZIF-8 for ORR, the as-prepared aptasensor showed a wider linear range (0.1 fM∼1 pM) and a lower detection limit (ca. 58.6 aM). This work provides some useful guidelines for synthesis of an advanced organic luminophore with largely boosted ECL signals in ultrasensitive analysis and clinical diagnosis.

Nowadays, continuous efforts have been devoted to designing stable and high-efficiency electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emitters as alternatives for tris(2,2′-bipyridine)-ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) in medical research. Herein, a novel ECL emitter was obtained by coordinating crystalline covalent triazinyl frameworks (cCTFs) with Ru2+(termed Ru-cCTFs), which exhibited strong ECL emission by the ligand to metal charge transfer (LMCT) route. After its integration with 4-mercaptopyridine (SH-Py), the resultant SH-Py-Ru-cCTFs achieved 2.3-fold enhancement in the ECL efficiency by employing Ru(bpy)32+as a standard, which involved a dynamic “intrarticular radical annihilation” ECL pathway. On such foundation, an automated ECL (A-ECL) aptasensor was constructed with an “on–off–on” model and magnetic separation upon linkage of the SH-Py-Ru-cCTFs with streptavidin (SA) magnetic beads (MBs). This automatic assay of miRNA-182 showed a wider linear range from 1.0 to 100.0 fM with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.994, a lower limit of detection (LOD) down to 0.28 fM, and faster operation within 41 min. Impressively, this bioassay facilely distinguished the stages of glioma disease from clinical blood samples with high accuracy. Hence, this research sheds light on how to develop advanced ECL luminophores and an automatic method, showing substantial insights into pathogenesis research of gliomas.

Nowadays, signal enhancement is imperative to increase sensitivity of advanced ECL devices for expediting their promising applications in clinic. In this work, photodynamic-assisted electrochemiluminescence (PDECL) device was constructed for precision diagnosis of Parkinson, where an advanced emitter was prepared by electrostatically linking 2,6-dimethyl-8-(3-carboxyphenyl)4,4′-difluoroboradiazene (BET) with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazole tetrafluoroborate ([BMIm][BF4]). Specifically, protoporphyrin IX (PPIX) can trigger the photodynamic reaction under light irradiation with a wavelength of 450 nm to generate lots of singlet oxygen (1O2), showing a 2.43-fold magnification in the ECL responses. Then, the aptamer (Apt) was assembled on the functional BET-[BMIm] for constructing a “signal off” ECL biosensor. Later on, the PPIX was embedded into the G-quadruplex (G4) of the Apt to magnify the ECL signals for bioanalysis of α-synuclein (α-syn) under light excitation. In the optimized surroundings, the resulting PDECL sensor has a broad linear range of 100.0 aM ∼ 10.0 fM and a low limit of detection (LOD) of 63 aM, coupled by differentiating Parkinson patients from normal individuals according to the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis of actual blood samples. Such research holds great promise for synthesis of other advanced luminophores, combined with achieving an early clinical diagnosis.

Monitoring acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and its inhibitors is of importance for early diagnosis and therapy of neurological diseases. Herein, N-doped carbon nanotubes supported Fe–Mn dual-single-atoms (FeMn DSAs/N-CNTs) were fabricated by a simple pyrolysis, as thoroughly figured out by a series of the characterization techniques. The peroxidase-like activity of FeMn DSAs/N-CNTs was investigated by catalytic oxidation of 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) to generate rich hydroxyl radicals (·OH) in the H2O2system, which effectively catalyzed colorless TMB oxidation to blue oxidized TMB (ox-TMB). Besides, the peroxidase-like activity was greatly weakened by thiocholine (derived from AChE), accompanied by making blue ox-TMB fade. Impressively, the highly improved peroxidase-like property is further evidenced by density functional theory (DFT) calculations, where the dual-single atoms show a lower energy barrier (0.079 eV) and their interactions with the N-CNTs played critical roles for producing the oxygen radicals. By virtue of the nanozyme, a low-cost, specific, and sensitive colorimetric sensor was built for detection of AChE with a broader linear range of 0.1–30 U L–1and a lower limit of detection (LOD, 0.066 U L–1), combined with its feasible analysis in human serum samples. Also, this platform was applied for measuring huperzine A inhibitor with a wide linear scope of 5–500 nM and a LOD down to 4.17 nM. This strategy provides a low-cost and convenient approach for early clinical diagnosis and drug development.

In this work, a facile one-pot wet-chemical method was developed for the self-assembly of PdPt@Pt nanorings via in situ reduction of [PdCl4]2–and [PtCl6]2–at room temperature, which are simultaneously dispersed on reduced graphene oxide (rGO; denoted as PdPt@Pt/rGO). Hexadecylpyridinium chloride was demonstrated as a shape-directing agent and formic acid as a reducing agent during the reaction process. The as-prepared PdPt@Pt/rGO exhibited enhanced electrocatalytic activity and better stability for oxygen reduction reaction and ethanol oxidation reaction in acid media, compared with PtPd/rGO, Pt/rGO, Pd/rGO, Pt black, and Pt/C catalysts.

To resolve the noise and incomplete information of rotor vibration signals for electric hoist gearbox, the full vector spectrum technology is applied for information fusion and wavelet analysis. The full vector wavelet is used to de-noising process for the vibration signals, which extract the more complete characterization information of the noise signal. First, the dual-channel vibration signal wavelet decomposition and reconstruction, and then take advantage of the full vector spectrum technology fusion for the reconstructed signal. In this way, which ensure the integrity of the vibration signal feature information, more reliably reflect the vibration characteristics of the rotor, and improve the accuracy of fault diagnosis.

In this work, we developed a low-cost, facile, sensitive, and selective colorimetric method for the quantitative determination of dopamine, based on 4-amino-3-hydrazino-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazol (AHMT) functionalized gold nanoparticles (AHMP-AuNPs) as a model probe. Dopamine could induce the aggregation of the AHMT-AuNPs through hydrogen-bonding interactions, which caused the colloidal solution changed from red to blue. And the color change was in situ monitored for the quantitative determination of dopamine in human serum and urine samples. The developed approach is simple, without using complex financial instruments and adding other metal salts or ions for improving sensitivity.

Through the investigation of the quality of Hunan rural highway maintenance in the present situation, based on the investigation of the rural highway in three cities：Changsha, Yueyang and Hengyang , in the theoretical analysis and based on expert opinion, and on the basis of the trigonometrical whitenization weight function theory, in order to determine the suitable maintenance quality evaluation system for Hunan rural highway .

Water-soluble fluorescent Ag nanoclusters (NCs) were prepared with the assistance of commercially available polyinosinic acid (PI) as a template, which can be greatly quenched by trace biological thiols such as cysteine (Cys), homocysteine (Hcy), and glutathione (GSH). The developed PI–Ag NCs were used for highly sensitive and selective detection of the thiols with the linear ranges of 0.1–5 μM (R2= 0.9962) for Cys, 0.5–4 μM (R2= 0.9967) for Hcy, and 0.05–6 μM (R2= 0.9958) for GSH, respectively. This method was extended for the detection of total thiols in human plasma samples with acceptable recovery from 95.21% to 101.60% and satisfactory relative standard deviations (<5%).

The expansive soil behaviour of expansive deformation and shear strength is deeply influenced by humidity condition. Different soil drying rate was set with constant temperature and different relative humidity. When saturated soil samples was dried to the different predetermined water content, the expansion ratio test with the upper load was made. It is shown that in the condition of high relative humidity, the expansion ratio is high. The smaller initial water content and upper load may lead to a larger swelling deformation. When soil samples with different initial water content was fully expanded, the consolidated direct shear tests were made. It is shown that the smaller drying rate leads to the greater shear strength after full expansion. What’s more, the upper load may improve the soil shear strength.

At present the point source soil contaminations by toxic chemicals are very serious, and many methods are used for the rapid disposal. In recent years, Fenton’s reagent has been paid more and more attention because of its high oxidative potential and simplicity. In this work, pentachlorophenol (PCP) was used to simulate contaminated soils, and a tilted soil reactor was designed to study its decomposition by Fenton’s reagent. The effects of six variables on PCP degradation were evaluated: (1) initial soil-water ratio; (2) reaction time; (3) H2O2-Fe2+ molar ratio; (4) dosing method; (5) reaction tank rotating speed and (6) initial H2O2 concentration, and the optimum operating conditions were identified. However, further research is required for practical application.

The shape control of Au nanocrystals is crucial to their catalytic applications and optical properties. Well-defined Au nanodendrites (NDs) have been prepared on a glassy carbon electrode using low-potential synthesis, assisted by ethylenediamine (EDA). The effects of applied potential, deposition time, and HAuCl4(or EDA) concentrations on the morphology of the Au deposits are discussed in our work. The growth mechanism can be explained by a two-staged growth of dendrites: initial branching and subsequent dendritic growth. The Au NDs exhibits superior catalytic performance toward ethanol oxidation, in comparison with the polycrystalline Au nanoparticles. The simple and facile synthetic technique can be applied to the construction of other metals with complex hierarchical structures on a large-scale.

In order to find out its active materials, the extractives of wheat straw biomass were adsorbed and determined by Py-GC-MS. And the main constituents were 1-phenanthrenecarboxylic acid, 1,2,3,4,4a,9,10,10a-octahydro-1,4a-dimethyl-7-(1-methylethyl)- (31.32%), 1,3-pentadiene,(z)- ( 4.5%), cyclobutene(2.17%), 1-nonadecene(2.12%), etc.

Abstract: Coastal salt marshes represent an important coastal wetland system. In order to understand the differences between boundary layer parameters of vegetated and unvegetated areas as well as the mechanisms of sediment transport, several electromagnetic current meters (AEM HR, products of Alec Electronics Co. Ltd.) were deployed in coastal wetlands in Quanzhou Bay, China, to measure current velocity. During the low tide phase, the surficial sediment was collected at 10 m intervals. In situ measurements show that the current velocities on the bare flat were much higher than those in the Spartina alterniflora marsh. Current velocity also varied with distance from marsh edge and plant canopy height and diameter. Around 63% of the velocity profiles in the tidal creek can be described by a logarithmic equation. Over the bare flat and Spartina alterniflora marsh, a logarithmic profile almost occurs during the flood tide phase. Sediment analysis shows that mean grain size was 6.7 Φ along the marsh edge, and surface sediments were transported from bare flat to marsh; the tidal creeks may change this sediment transport pattern. The hydrodynamics at early flood tide and late ebb tide phases determined the net transport direction within the study area.

Several polymer inorganic nanocomposites were specially designed for protecting oil formation, enhancing oil recovery in the low permeable strata and solar cell efficicency. The inorganic phase with different load was introduced to the polymer matrix through either the intercalation process of the layered silicates or core-shell particle affinity.Several novel nanoeffects were discovered in such polymers as polyacrylamide, poly(ethylene terephthalate),starch, polynucleic aromatic resins–montmorrilonite or SiO2 nanocomposites. In the nanocomposites, the nano size was 10-70nm, the nanoeffects of particle encapsulation, dispersion, molecular weight growth, barrier, and specially solar absorption and solar power transformation efficiency,etc.were presented and reviewed. The tunable nanoeffects of the nanocomposites and some very obvious practical efficicnecy to traditional and new enenergy were first reported.

In this paper, glucose oxidase (GOx) was employed to construct a functional film on the poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) microfluidic channel surface and apply to perform electrophoresis coupled with in‐channel electrochemical detection. The film was formed by sequentially immobilizing poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) and GOx to the microfluidic channel surface via layer‐by‐layer (LBL) assembly. A group of neurotransmitters (5‐hydroxytryptamine, 5‐HT; dopamine, DA; epinephrine, EP; dobuamine, DBA) as a group of separation model was used to evaluate the effect of the functional PDMS microfluidic devices. Electroosmotic flow (EOF) in the modified PDMS microchannel was well suppressed compared with that in the native one. Experimental conditions were optimized in detail. As expected, these analytes were efficiently separated within 110 s in a 3.7 cm long separation channel and successfully detected at a single carbon fiber electrode. Good performances were attributed to the decreased EOF and the interactions of analytes with the immobilized GOx on the PDMS surface. The theoretical plate numbers were 2.19×105, 1.89×105, 1.76×105, and 1.51×105N/m at the separation voltage of 1000 V with the detection limits of 1.6, 2.0, 2.5 and 6.8 μM (S/N=3) for DA, 5‐HT, EP and DBA, respectively. In addition, the modified PDMS channels had long‐term stability and excellent reproducibility.

Cyanogel, a novel inorganic polymeric hydrogel, is constituted by chlorometallates and transition-metal cyanometallates, which is thought as fascinating and promising precursor to produce highly alloyed materials with stereochemical structures. In this review, the properties, synthesis methods, and electrochemical applications of the cyanogel and its derivates are systematically discussed. With intrinsic properties such as 3D interconnected backbones, uniform distributions of metals at atomic level, and porous structures, the cyanogel-derived materials exhibit superior activities and stabilities. During the synthesis process, the skeleton of cyanogel serves as soft template for generating metal structures without any surfactant. Due to the versatility and tunability of cyanogels, their derivatives not only provide foreseeable opportunities for preparation of highly efficient nanomaterials in electrocatalytic reactions, but also broaden their practical applications in energy-related devices such as fuel cells, water splitting electrolyzers, metal-air batteries, energy storage batteries, and supercapacitors. Through this review, we aim to provide valuable guidelines for constructing highly effective materials in practice.

An efficient method for the Lewis acid promotion of the synthesis 9-phosphoryl fluorenes has been reported. This method focuses on ketone phosphonylation to form a C–P bond and a C–C bond between diphenylmethanone and H-phosphinate esters, H-phosphites, and H-phosphine oxides via phospha-aldol elimination, in which a series of 9-phosphoryl fluorene derivatives were selectively obtained in moderate to excellent yields.

Interleukin-2 (IL-2) was found to have an analgesic effect in both central and peripheral nervous systems. This effect is related to opioid receptors and mediated mainly by IL-2 directly binding to opioid receptors. Using radioimmunoassay, the content of Leu-enkephalin (LEK) in some nuclei were measured at intervals after the injection of IL-2 into the lateral ventricle of rats. Levels of LEK increased in both paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus (PVN) and locus ceruleus (LOC) after IL-2 admistration, suggesting that the analgesic effect of IL-2 is also related to the change of LEK in PVN and LOC induced by IL-2 administration.
