Rail guide vehicle (RGV) problems have the characteristics of fast running, stable performance, and high automation. RGV dynamic scheduling has a great impact on the working efficiency of an entire automated warehouse. However, the relative intelligent optimization research of different workshop components for RGV dynamic scheduling problems are insufficient scheduling in the previous works. They appear idle when waiting, resulting in reduced operating efficiency during operation. This article proposes a new distance landscape strategy for the RGV dynamic scheduling problems. In order to solve the RGV dynamic scheduling problem more effectively, experiments are conducted based on the type of computer numerical controller (CNC) with two different procedures programming model in solving the RGV dynamic scheduling problems. The experiment results reveal that this new distance landscape strategy can provide promising results and solves the considered RGV dynamic scheduling problem effectively.

The dependence of the Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) by gold nanoparticles on their shape is examined using the organic dye, rhodamine 6G (R6G) as probe molecule. SERS has been explored extensively for applications in sensing and imaging, but the design and optimisation of efficient substrates is still challenging. In order to understand and optimise the SERS process in nanoparticles, gold nanospheres and their aggregates, nanotriangles, and nanostars of similar dimensions were synthesised and characterised according to their average size, zeta potential and UV/visible absorption. SERS from R6G was negligible for unaggregated nanospheres at 532 nm, close to the maximum of the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) at 560 nm. Upon aggregation of the nanospheres, the SPR shifts to ∼660 nm, attributable to local surface plasmon “hotspots” between the spheres, and the SERS signal of R6G is significantly increased, at 785 nm. In monodisperse gold nanotriangles, the SPR is located at ∼800 nm, and significant SERS of R6G is observed using 785 nm as source, as is the case for gold nanostars, which exhibit a double SPR with maxima at ∼600 nm and ∼785 nm, attributable to the core sphere and vertices of the structures, respectively. In suspensions of equal nanoparticle and dye concentration, the SERS effect increases as nanospheres < nanosphere aggregates < nanotriangles < nanostars, clearly indicating that control over the number of local field hotspots can optimise the SERS efficiency. Notably, it is demonstrated that the SERS intensity per nanoparticle scales with the magnitude of the SPR absorbance at the excitation wavelength (785 nm), providing a clear guide to optimisation of the process experimentally.

RGD peptides has been used to detect cell surface integrin and direct clinical effective therapeutic drug selection. Herein we report that a quick one step detection of cell surface marker that was realized by a specially designed NiFe-based magnetic biosensing cell chip combined with functionalized magnetic nanoparticles. Magnetic nanoparticles with 20-30 nm in diameter were prepared by coprecipitation and modified with RGD-4C, and the resultant RGD-functionalized magnetic nanoparticles were used for targeting cancer cells cultured on the NiFe-based magnetic biosensing chip and distinguish the amount of cell surface receptor-integrin. Cell lines such as Calu3, Hela, A549, CaFbr, HEK293 and HUVEC exhibiting different integrin expression were chosen as test samples. Calu3, Hela, HEK293 and HUVEC cells were successfully identified. This approach has advantages in the qualitative screening test. Compared with traditional method, it is fast, sensitive, low cost, easy-operative, and needs very little human intervention. The novel method has great potential in applications such as fast clinical cell surface marker detection, and diagnosis of early cancer, and can be easily extended to other biomedical applications based on molecular recognition.

Over the past decade, the capability of double-stranded RNAs to interfere with gene expression has driven new therapeutic approaches. Since small interfering RNA (siRNAs, 21 base pair double-stranded RNA) was shown to be able to elicit RNA interference (RNAi), efforts were directed toward the development of efficient delivery systems to preserve siRNA bioactivity throughout the delivery route, from the administration site to the target cell. Here we provide evidence of RNAi triggering, specifically silencing c-myc protooncogene, viathe synthesis of a library of novel multifunctional gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The efficiency of the AuNPs is demonstrated using a hierarchical approach including three biological systems of increasing complexity: in vitrocultured human cells, in vivoinvertebrate (freshwater polyp, Hydra), and in vivovertebrate (mouse) models. Our synthetic methodology involved fine-tuning of multiple structural and functional moieties. Selection of the most active functionalities was assisted step-by-step through functional testing that adopted this hierarchical strategy. Merging these chemical and biological approaches led to a safe, nonpathogenic, self-tracking, and universally valid nanocarrier that could be exploited for therapeutic RNAi.

The objective of this work was to investigate cell adhesion, Poly Glycolic Acid (PGA) and PGA/ collagen nano-fibers on the silicone membrane. PGA with the weight-mixing ration of 40% was fabricated through the electronspun technique. The behaviors of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial cells on these scaffolds are evaluated. The highest cell adhesion was observed in the PGA/collagen fibers with the diameter of 500 nm. This study indicates the effect of nano-fibers on the Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial cells for better understanding of interactions of cells with scaffold materials. Such information will have important implications for implantable vascular tissue engineering constructs.
