Abstract

La gestion du traitement personnel du patient est un point critique du parcours de soins en chirurgie. Le bénéfice de l’intervention du pharmacien en peropératoire a été montré chez le patient programmé où le nombre de divergences issues de la conciliation médicamenteuse d’entrée (CME) n’est pas inférieur à celui d’un patient admis en urgence. Ainsi, depuis 2018 dans notre hôpital, des patients polymédiqués ciblés en attente d’une neurochirurgie bénéficient avant la consultation pré-anesthésique (CPA) d’une CME proactive (CME-p). Celle-ci est faite en distanciel depuis la pandémie de 2020. Le délai entre la CME-p et l’admission implique toutefois de possibles modifications thérapeutiques.

Abstract

Afin de sensibiliser aux risques liés aux médicaments pendant la grossesse et d’améliorer leur bon usage, l’ANSM a mis en place une campagne de prévention et d’information les concernant, notamment avec une évolution constante de la réglementation (ex : accord de soin obligatoire pour le topiramate depuis 2022). Un changement de pratiques de dispensation concernant ces médicaments sera complexe dans notre centre de 2000 lits dans lequel nous réalisons une préparation des doses à administrer automatisée pour 680 patients.

Abstract

Adaptive management is essential to the practical application of the Ecosystem-Based Approach (EBA). Despite there are frequent assertions that adaptive management is being used, evidence on its success is still limited. Indeed, it is difficult to bring the different elements of adaptive management together in a robust way and to choose the appropriate tools to do it. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a practical framework for adaptive policy action, consistent with the EBA. Accordingly, to operationalize the design and implementation of adaptive policies on the basis of the EBA, the Adaptive Marine Policy toolbox has been developed. The objective of the toolbox is to provide policy-makers a practical framework to design and implement adaptive policies. To show the functionality of the toolbox, the guidelines and resources provided within the toolbox have been applied to the marine litter issue in the Mediterranean and Black Sea as an example. The example application has shown that the toolbox is a useful and operational framework to build a science-policy interface according to the EBA. Despite some resources could be missing from the toolbox, they provide a practical and useful starting point to support the application of the different steps and key activities. 4. A Study of the Transient Performance of Hydrostatic Journal Bearings: Part I-Test Apparatus and Facility

Abstract

A test apparatus was developed to study the transient performance of hydrostatic journal bearings operating in liquid nitrogen. The objective of the test program was to determine the number of revolutions of shaft contact before liftoff and after touchdown as a function of bearing/shaft material combinations and operating conditions. The results show that bearing liftoff occurs quickly in most cases.
