The article discusses research conducted on the most suitable nonlinear model to describe the growth of female collared peccaries. It highlights the impact of collared peccary breeding in captivity on the development of the Amazon Region. It examines different growth models including the Von Bertalanffy, Brody, and Gompertz. It is found that the Brody model showed the best adjustment for the asymptotic rate and is recommended for adjusting the growth curve of the female collared peccaries.
